Psalms 75

1 For the leader; al tashheth. A psalm of Asaph, a song. We praise you, God, we praise you: we would call on your name and declare your wonders.

Начальнику хора. Не погуби. Псалом Асафа. Песнь. Славим Тебя, Боже, славим, ибо близко имя Твое; возвещают чудеса Твои.

2 ‘At the time I choose, I will judge fairly.

“Когда изберу время, Я произведу суд по правде.

3 Though earth melt and all her inhabitants, it is I who keep steady her pillars.’ (Selah)

Колеблется земля и все живущие на ней: Я утвержу столпы ее”.

4 I say to the boasters, ‘Boast not’; to the wicked, ‘Lift not up your horn:

Говорю безумствующим: “не безумствуйте”, и нечестивым: “не поднимайте рога,

5 lift not your horn on high, speak not boldly against the Rock.’

не поднимайте высоко рога вашего, не говорите жестоковыйно”,

6 For not from east nor west, not from desert nor mountains;

ибо не от востока и не от запада и не от пустыни возвышение,

7 but God himself is the judge, humbling one and exalting another.

но Бог есть судия: одного унижает, а другого возносит;

8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup foaming wine, richly spiced. Out of this he pours a draught, and all the wicked of earth must drain it down to the dregs.

ибо чаша в руке Господа, вино кипит в ней, полное смешения, и Он наливает из нее. Даже дрожжи ее будут выжимать и пить все нечестивые земли.

9 But I will rejoice forever, singing praise to the God of Jacob.

А я буду возвещать вечно, буду воспевать Бога Иаковлева,

10 I will hew all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the just shall be lifted.

все роги нечестивых сломлю, и вознесутся роги праведника.
