< Psalms 43 >

1 Right me, defend my cause against a pitiless people. From the crafty and crooked, O God, deliver me.
Me Nyankopɔn, bu me bem, na ka mʼasɛm a etia ɔman a wonsuro wo no ma me; gye me fi nnaadaafo ne amumɔyɛfo nsam.
2 For you are God my protector: why have you cast me off? Why must I walk so sadly, so hard pressed by the foe?
Woyɛ Onyankopɔn, mʼabandennen. Adɛn nti na woapo me? Adɛn nti na ɛsɛ sɛ menantenantew twa adwo mʼatamfo nhyɛso nti?
3 Send forth your light and your truth, let them be my guides: to your holy hill let them bring me, to the place where you live.
Soma wo hann ne wo nokware ma wɔnkyerɛ me kwan; ma wɔmfa me mmra wo Bepɔw Kronkron no so, faako a wote no.
4 Then will I go to God’s altar, to God my rejoicing; and with joy on the lyre I will praise you, O God, my God.
Afei, mɛkɔ Onyankopɔn afɔremuka anim, mʼanigye ne mʼahosɛpɛw Nyankopɔn nkyɛn. Mede sanku beyi wo ayɛ, Onyankopɔn, me Nyankopɔn.
5 Why am I downcast? Why this moaning within me? Hope in God; for yet will I praise him, my help, my God.
Me kra, adɛn, na woabotow? Adɛn na woayɛ basaa wɔ me mu saa? Fa wo ho to Onyankopɔn so, na mɛkɔ so ayi no ayɛ, mʼAgyenkwa ne me Nyankopɔn.
