< Psalms 27 >

1 A psalm of David. The Lord is my light and my saviour; whom then should I fear? The Lord protects my life; whom then should I dread?
Nzembo ya Davidi. Yawe azali pole mpe lobiko na ngai; nakobanga nani? Yawe azali ndako batonga makasi ya bomoi na ngai; nakolenga liboso ya nani?
2 When the wicked drew near to assail me and eat up my flesh, it was those who distressed and opposed me who stumbled and fell.
Tango bato mabe babundisaka ngai mpo na koluka kosala ngai mabe, ezali bayini mpe banguna na ngai nde baninganaka mpe bakweyaka.
3 Though against me a host should encamp, yet my heart would be fearless: though battle should rise up against me, still would I be trustful.
Ata limpinga ezingeli ngai, motema na ngai ekobanga soki moke te; ata etumba etelemi mpo na koboma ngai, atako bongo, nakozala kaka na elikya makasi.
4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, and that do I long for – To live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the grace of the Lord and inquire in his temple.
Nalukaka eloko moko kowuta na Yawe, eloko moko kaka oyo nasengaka makasi: nalingi kovanda na Tempelo ya Yawe, mikolo nyonso ya bomoi na ngai, mpo na kosepelaka na kitoko ya Yawe mpe kosengaka toli na Ye kati na Tempelo na Ye.
5 For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of misfortune. In his sheltering tent he hides me: he lifts me up on a rock.
Pamba te, na tango ya pasi, akobatela ngai kati na evandelo na Ye, akobomba ngai kati ya Ndako na Ye ya bule mpe akotelemisa ngai na likolo ya libanga.
6 And now that my head he has lifted above my encircling foes, I will march round the altar and sacrifice, shouting with joy, in his tent, making music and song to the Lord.
Bongo, nakotombola moto na ngai na likolo ya banguna oyo bazingeli ngai; nakobanda kobonza, na se ya lokito ya esengo, bambeka kati Ndako na Ye ya bule; nakobanda koyembela Yawe mpe kobetela Ye mindule.
7 Hear, O Lord, my loud cry, and graciously answer me.
Yawe, yoka mongongo na ngai, soki nabeleli Yo; salela ngai ngolu mpe yanola ngai.
8 My heart has said to you, ‘Your face, O Lord, I seek.’
Motema na ngai elobi na tina na Yo: « Tala elongi na Ye! » Yawe, nakotala elongi na Yo.
9 Hide not your face from me, reject not your servant in anger: for you have been my help. Abandon me not, nor forsake me, O God of my help:
Kopesa ngai mokongo te, kobengana mosali na Yo te na kanda; osungaki ngai. Kotika ngai te, kosundola ngai te, Nzambe, Mobikisi na ngai.
10 for father and mother have left me; but the Lord will take me up.
Ata tata mpe mama na ngai basundoli ngai, Yawe akolokota ngai.
11 Teach me your way, O Lord: lead me in an even path, because of my enemies.
Yawe, lakisa ngai nzela na Yo, tambolisa ngai na nzela ya alima, pamba te banguna na ngai bazali koluka ngai.
12 Give me not up, O Lord, unto the rage of my foes; for against me have risen false witnesses, breathing out cruelty.
Kotika te ete nakangama na motambo ya bayini na ngai, pamba te batatoli ya lokuta batelemi mpo na kokosela ngai makambo, bazali kobimisa maloba mabe.
13 Firm is the faith I cherish, that I, in the land of the living, will yet see the goodness of God.
Nakozalaka na elikya na likambo oyo: nakobika bolamu ya Yawe kati na mokili ya bato ya bomoi.
14 Let your heart be courageous and strong, and wait on the Lord.
Talela Yawe! Zala makasi mpe yika mpiko! Talela Yawe!
