8 ‘Who is the glorious king?’ ‘The Lord strong and heroic, the Lord heroic in battle.’
Hwan ne saa Animuonyam Ɔhene yi? Ɔno ne Awurade ɔhoɔdenfoɔ ne otumfoɔ no; Awurade a ɔyɛ ɔko mu nkonimdifoɔ.
9 Lift high your heads, you gates – Higher, you ancient doors; welcome the glorious king.
Mommuebue, Ao mo apono mommuebue, mo tete apono, na animuonyam Ɔhene no nkɔ mu.
10 ‘Who is the glorious king?’ ‘The Lord, the God of hosts, he is the glorious king.’ (Selah)
