Psalms 23

1 A psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd: I am never in need.

Saamu ti Dafidi. Olúwa ni olùṣọ́ èmi àgùntàn rẹ̀, èmi kì yóò ṣe aláìní.

2 He lays me down in green pastures. He gently leads me to waters of rest,

Ó mú mi dùbúlẹ̀ sí ibi pápá oko tútù, Ó mú mi lọ sí ibi omi dídákẹ́ rọ́rọ́,

3 he refreshes my life. He guides me along paths that are straight, true to his name.

Ó mú ọkàn mi padà bọ̀ sípò. Ó mú mi lọ sí ọ̀nà òdodo nítorí orúkọ rẹ̀.

4 And when my way lies through a valley of gloom, I fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me.

Bí mo tilẹ̀ ń rìn láàrín àfonífojì òjìji ikú, èmi kì yóò bẹ̀rù ibi kan, nítorí ìwọ wà pẹ̀lú mi; ọ̀gọ rẹ àti ọ̀pá à rẹ, wọ́n ń tù mí nínú.

5 You spread a table for me in face of my foes; with oil you anoint my head, and my cup runs over.

Ìwọ tẹ́ tábìlì oúnjẹ sílẹ̀ níwájú mi ní ojú àwọn ọ̀tá à mi. Ìwọ ta òróró sí mi ní orí; ago mí sì kún àkúnwọ́sílẹ̀.

6 Surely goodness and love will pursue me – all the days of my life. In the house of the Lord I will live through the length of the days.

Nítòótọ́, ìre àti àánú ni yóò máa tọ̀ mí lẹ́yìn ní ọjọ́ ayé è mi gbogbo, èmi yóò sì máa gbé inú ilé Olúwa títí láéláé.
