< Psalms 15 >

1 A psalm of David. Lord, who can be guest in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?
E IEHOVA, owai ka mea o noho iloko o kou halelewa? Owai hoi ka mea e noho ma kou mauna hoano?
2 The person whose walk is blameless, whose conduct is right, whose words are true and sincere;
O ka mea i hele ma ka pololei a i hana ma ka pono; A i olelo hoi ma ka oiaio iloko o kona naau:
3 on whose tongue there sits no slander, who will not harm a friend,
Aole i aki me kona alelo, aole hoi i hana hewa i kona hoapili, Aole hoi i lawe i ka mea e hoinoia'i kona hoalauna.
4 nor cruelly insult a neighbour, who regards with contempt those rejected by God; but honours those who obey the Lord, who keeps an oath, whatever the cost,
A imua o kona maka i hoowahawahaia'i ke kanaka ino; Aka, ua mahalo no oia i ka poe e makau ia Iehova; A hoohiki no kona pono iho aole nae i lole hou ae:
5 whose money is lent without interest, and never takes a bribe to hurt the innocent. The person who does these things will always stand firm.
Aole i ho aku i kana moni no ka uku hoopanee; Aole hoi i lawe i ke kipe i hewa'i ka mea pono. O ka mea i hana ia mau mea, aole loa oia e kulanalana.
