Psalms 15

1 A psalm of David. Lord, who can be guest in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

দাউদের গীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, কে তোমার পবিত্র তাঁবুতে বসবাস করবে? তোমার পুণ্য পর্বতে কে বসবাস করবে?

2 The person whose walk is blameless, whose conduct is right, whose words are true and sincere;

সেই করবে যে আচরণে নির্দোষ, যে নিয়মিত সঠিক কাজ করে, যে অন্তর থেকে সত্য কথা বলে;

3 on whose tongue there sits no slander, who will not harm a friend,

যার জিভ কোনও অপবাদ করে না, প্রতিবেশীর প্রতি কোনও অন্যায় করে না, এবং অপরের কোনও নিন্দা করে না;

4 nor cruelly insult a neighbour, who regards with contempt those rejected by God; but honours those who obey the Lord, who keeps an oath, whatever the cost,

যে দুষ্ট ব্যক্তিকে অবজ্ঞা করে কিন্তু তাদের শ্রদ্ধা করে যারা সদাপ্রভুকে সম্ভ্রম করে, লোকসান হলেও সে প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষা করে, এবং তার মন পরিবর্তন করে না;

5 whose money is lent without interest, and never takes a bribe to hurt the innocent. The person who does these things will always stand firm.

যে বিনা সুদে দরিদ্রদের অর্থ ধার দেয়; যে নির্দোষের বিরুদ্ধে ঘুস নেয় না। যে এসব করে সে কখনোই বিচলিত হবে না।
