Matthew 25
1 ‘Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.
| «در آن زمان ملکوت آسمان مثل ده باکره خواهد بود که مشعلهای خود رابرداشته، به استقبال داماد بیرون رفتند. | ۱ |
2 Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.
| و ازایشان پنج دانا و پنج نادان بودند. | ۲ |
3 The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them;
| اما نادانان مشعلهای خود را برداشته، هیچ روغن با خودنبردند. | ۳ |
4 while the prudent ones, besides taking their lamps, took oil in their jars.
| لیکن دانایان، روغن در ظروف خود بامشعلهای خویش برداشتند. | ۴ |
5 As the groom was late in coming, they all became drowsy, and slept.
| و چون آمدن دامادبطول انجامید، همه پینکی زده، خفتند. | ۵ |
6 But at midnight a shout was raised – “The groom is coming! Come out to meet him!”
| و درنصف شب صدایی بلند شد که “اینک دامادمی آید به استقبال وی بشتابید.” | ۶ |
7 Then all the bridesmaids woke up and trimmed their lamps,
| پس تمامی آن باکره‌ها برخاسته، مشعلهای خود را اصلاح نمودند. | ۷ |
8 and the foolish said to the prudent “Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.”
| و نادانان، دانایان را گفتند: “از روغن خود به ما دهید زیرا مشعلهای ما خاموش می‌شود.” | ۸ |
9 But the prudent ones answered “No, There may not be enough for you and for us. Go instead to those who sell it, and buy for yourselves.”
| اما دانایان در جواب گفتند: “نمی شود، مبادا ما و شما را کفاف ندهد. بلکه نزدفروشندگان رفته، برای خود بخرید.” | ۹ |
10 But while they were on their way to buy it, the groom came; and the bridesmaids who were ready went in with him to the banquet, and the door was shut.
| و درحینی که ایشان بجهت خرید می‌رفتند، داماد برسید و آنانی که حاضر بودند، با وی به عروسی داخل شده، در بسته گردید. | ۱۰ |
11 Afterwards the other bridesmaids came. “Sir, Sir,” they said, “open the door to us!”
| بعد از آن، باکره های دیگر نیز آمده، گفتند: “خداوندا برای ماباز کن.” | ۱۱ |
12 But the groom answered “I tell you, I do not know you.”
| او در جواب گفت: “هرآینه به شمامی گویم شما را نمی شناسم.” | ۱۲ |
13 Therefore watch, since you know neither the day nor the hour.
| پس بیدار باشیدزیرا که آن روز و ساعت را نمی دانید. | ۱۳ |
14 ‘For it is as though a man, going on his travels, called his servants, and gave his property into their charge.
| «زیرا چنانکه مردی عازم سفر شده، غلامان خود را طلبید و اموال خود را بدیشان سپرد، | ۱۴ |
15 He gave five bags of gold to one, two to another, and one bag to a third, in proportion to the ability of each. Then he set out on his travels.
| یکی را پنج قنطار و دیگری را دو وسومی را یک داد؛ هر یک را بحسب استعدادش. و بی‌درنگ متوجه سفر شد. | ۱۵ |
16 The servant who had received the five bags of gold went at once and traded with it, and made another five bags.
| پس آنکه پنج قنطار یافته بود، رفته و با آنها تجارت نموده، پنج قنطار دیگر سود کرد. | ۱۶ |
17 So, too, the servant who had received the two bags of gold made another two bags.
| و همچنین صاحب دوقنطار نیز دو قنطار دیگر سود گرفت. | ۱۷ |
18 But the servant who had received the one bag went and dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money.
| اما آنکه یک قنطار گرفته بود، رفته زمین را کند و نقد آقای خود را پنهان نمود. | ۱۸ |
19 After a long time the master of those servants returned, and settled accounts with them.
| «و بعد از مدت مدیدی، آقای آن غلامان آمده، از ایشان حساب خواست. | ۱۹ |
20 The servant who had received the five bags of gold came up and brought five bags more. “Sir,” he said, “you entrusted me with five bags of gold; look, I have made another five bags!”
| پس آنکه پنج قنطار یافته بود، پیش آمده، پنج قنطار دیگرآورده، گفت: خداوندا پنج قنطار به من سپردی، اینک پنج قنطار دیگر سود کردم.” | ۲۰ |
21 “Well done, good, trustworthy servant!” said his master. “You have been trustworthy with a small sum; now I will place a large one in your hands; come and share your master’s joy!”
| آقای او به وی گفت: آفرین‌ای غلام نیک متدین! بر چیزهای اندک امین بودی، تو را بر چیزهای بسیار خواهم گماشت. به شادی خداوند خود داخل شو! | ۲۱ |
22 Then the one who had received the two bags of gold came up and said “Sir, you entrusted me with two bags pounds; look, I have made another two!”
| وصاحب دو قنطار نیز آمده، گفت: ای آقا دو قنطارتسلیم من نمودی، اینک دو قنطار دیگر سودیافته‌ام. | ۲۲ |
23 “Well done, good, trustworthy servant!” said his master. “You have been trustworthy with a small sum; now I will place a large one in your hands; come and share your master’s joy!”
| آقایش وی را گفت: آفرین‌ای غلام نیک متدین! بر چیزهای کم امین بودی، تو را بر چیزهای بسیار می‌گمارم. در خوشی خداوندخود داخل شو! | ۲۳ |
24 The man who had received the single bag of gold came up, too, and said “Sir, I knew that you were a hard man; you reap where you have not sown, and gather up where you have not winnowed;
| پس آنکه یک قنطار گرفته بود، پیش آمده، گفت: ای آقا چون تو رامی شناختم که مرد درشت خویی می‌باشی، ازجایی که نکاشته‌ای می‌دروی و از جایی که نیفشانده‌ای جمع می‌کنی، | ۲۴ |
25 and, in my fear, I went and hid your money in the ground; look, here is what belongs to you!”
| پس ترسان شده، رفتم و قنطار تو را زیر زمین نهفتم. اینک مال توموجود است. | ۲۵ |
26 “You lazy, worthless servant!” was his master’s reply. “You knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather up where I have not winnowed?
| آقایش در جواب وی گفت: ای غلام شریر بیکاره! دانسته‌ای که از جایی که نکاشته‌ام میدروم و از مکانی که نپاشیده‌ام، جمع می‌کنم. | ۲۶ |
27 Then you ought to have placed my money in the hands of bankers, and I, on my return, should have received my money, with interest.
| از همین جهت تو را می‌بایست نقد مرابه صرافان بدهی تا وقتی که بیایم مال خود را باسود بیابم. | ۲۷ |
28 Therefore,” he continued, “take away from him the one bag of gold, and give it to the one who has the ten bags.
| الحال آن قنطار را از او گرفته، به صاحب ده قنطار بدهید. | ۲۸ |
29 For, to him who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but, as for him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away from him.
| زیرا به هر‌که داردداده شود و افزونی یابد و از آنکه ندارد آنچه داردنیز گرفته شود. | ۲۹ |
30 As for the useless servant, put him out into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.”
| و آن غلام بی‌نفع را در ظلمت خارجی اندازید، جایی که گریه و فشار دندان خواهد بود. | ۳۰ |
31 ‘When the Son of Man has come in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will take his seat on his throne of glory;
| «اما چون پسر انسان در جلال خود باجمیع ملائکه مقدس خویش آید، آنگاه بر کرسی جلال خود خواهد نشست، | ۳۱ |
32 and all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people – just as a shepherd separates sheep from goats –
| و جمیع امت‌ها درحضور او جمع شوند و آنها را از همدیگر جدامی کند به قسمی که شبان میشها را از بزها جدامی کند. | ۳۲ |
33 placing the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on his left.
| و میشها را بر دست راست و بزها را برچپ خود قرار دهد. | ۳۳ |
34 Then the king will say to those on his right “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, enter into possession of the kingdom prepared for you ever since the beginning of the world.
| آنگاه پادشاه به اصحاب طرف راست گوید: بیایید‌ای برکت یافتگان از پدر من و ملکوتی را که از ابتدای عالم برای شما آماده‌شده است، به میراث گیرید. | ۳۴ |
35 For, when I was hungry, you gave me food; when I was thirsty, you gave me drink; when I was a stranger, you took me to your homes;
| زیرا چون گرسنه بودم مرا طعام دادید، تشنه بودم سیرآبم نمودید، غریب بودم مرا جا دادید، | ۳۵ |
36 when I was naked, you clothed me; when I fell ill, you visited me; and when I was in prison, you came to me.”
| عریان بودم مراپوشانیدید، مریض بودم عیادتم کردید، در حبس بودم دیدن من آمدید. | ۳۶ |
37 Then the righteous will answer “Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? Or thirsty, and give you a drink?
| آنگاه عادلان به پاسخ گویند: ای خداوند، کی گرسنه ات دیدیم تاطعامت دهیم، یا تشنه ات یافتیم تا سیرآبت نماییم، | ۳۷ |
38 When did we see you a stranger, and take you to our homes? Or naked, and clothe you?
| یا کی تو را غریب یافتیم تا تو را جادهیم یا عریان تا بپوشانیم، | ۳۸ |
39 When did we see you ill, or in prison, and come to you?”
| و کی تو را مریض یامحبوس یافتیم تا عیادتت کنیم؟ | ۳۹ |
40 And the king will reply “I tell you, as often as you did it to one of these my brothers or sisters, however unimportant they seemed, you did it to me.”
| پادشاه درجواب ایشان گوید: هرآینه به شما می‌گویم، آنچه به یکی از این برادران کوچکترین من کردید، به من کرده‌اید. | ۴۰ |
41 Then he will say to those on his left “Go from my presence, accursed, into the permanent fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
| «پس اصحاب طرف چپ را گوید: ای ملعونان، از من دور شوید در آتش جاودانی که برای ابلیس و فرشتگان او مهیا شده است. (aiōnios g166) | ۴۱ |
42 For, when I was hungry, you gave me no food; when I was thirsty, you gave me no drink;
| زیراگرسنه بودم مرا خوراک ندادید، تشنه بودم مراآب ندادید، | ۴۲ |
43 when I was a stranger, you did not take me to your homes; when I was naked, you did not clothe me; and, when I was ill and in prison, you did not visit me.”
| غریب بودم مرا جا ندادید، عریان بودم مرا نپوشانیدید، مریض و محبوس بودم عیادتم ننمودید. | ۴۳ |
44 Then they, in their turn, will answer “Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or ill, or in prison, and did not supply your wants?”
| پس ایشان نیز به پاسخ گویند: ای خداوند، کی تو را گرسنه یا تشنه یاغریب یا برهنه یا مریض یا محبوس دیده، خدمتت نکردیم؟ | ۴۴ |
45 And then he will reply “I tell you, as often as you failed to do it to one of these, however unimportant, you failed to do it to me.”
| آنگاه در جواب ایشان گوید: هرآینه به شما می‌گویم، آنچه به یکی از این کوچکان نکردید، به من نکرده‌اید. | ۴۵ |
