2 John 1

1 From the elder, to the lady chosen by God and her children. I truly love you all, and I am not the only one but all who know the truth love you as well.

۱ من که پیرم، به خاتون برگزیده و فرزندانش که ایشان را درراستی محبت می‌نمایم و نه من فقط بلکه همه کسانی که راستی را می‌دانند،

2 We love you for the sake of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever. (aiōn g165)

۲ بخاطر آن راستی که در ما ساکن است و با ما تا به ابد خواهدبود. (aiōn g165)

3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be ours – the gift of God, the Father, and of Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son – in truth and love.

۳ فیض و رحمت و سلامتی از جانب خدای پدر و عیسی مسیح خداوند و پسر پدر در راستی و محبت با ما خواهد بود.

4 It was a great joy to me to find the lives of some of your children guided by the truth, in obedience to the command that we received from the Father.

۴ بسیار مسرور شدم چونکه بعضی از فرزندان تو را یافتم که در راستی رفتار می‌کنند، چنانکه ازپدر حکم یافتیم.

5 And now I implore you, dear lady, let us love one another This is not a new command I am writing to you. It is the command we have had from the beginning. – Let us love one another.

۵ و الان‌ای خاتون از تو التماس دارم نه آنکه حکمی تازه به تو بنویسم، بلکه همان را که از ابتداء داشتیم که یکدیگر را محبت بنماییم.

6 And this is love – to live in obedience to the Father’s commands. This is the command as you learned from the beginning, to live a life of love.

۶ و این است محبت که موافق احکام اوسلوک بنماییم و حکم همان است که از اول شنیدید تا در آن سلوک نماییم.

7 I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world – men who do not acknowledge that Jesus Christ came in flesh and blood. Any such person is a deceiver and antichrist.

۷ زیرا گمراه کنندگان بسیار به‌دنیا بیرون شدندکه عیسی مسیح ظاهر شده در جسم را اقرارنمی کنند. آن است گمراه‌کننده و دجال.

8 Take care so that you do not what we have worked for but instead receive your full reward.

۸ خود رانگاه بدارید مبادا آنچه را که عمل کردیم برباددهید بلکه تا اجرت کامل بیابید.

9 Anyone who goes beyond and fails to live inside of the teaching of Christ does not have God. The person who lives inside that teaching – they have both the Father and the Son.

۹ هرکه پیشوایی می‌کند و در تعلیم مسیح ثابت نیست، خدا رانیافته است. اما آنکه در تعلیم مسیح ثابت ماند، اوهم پدر و پسر را دارد.

10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive them into your house or even welcome them;

۱۰ اگر کسی به نزد شما آیدو این تعلیم را نیاورد، او را به خانه خود مپذیرید واو را تحیت مگویید.

11 because the person who welcomes them is sharing with them in his evil work.

۱۱ زیرا هرکه او را تحیت گوید، در کارهای قبیحش شریک گردد.

12 Though I have many other things to tell you, I would rather not use paper and ink. Instead I hope to come and see you, and to speak with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.

۱۲ چیزهای بسیار دارم که به شما بنویسم، لکن نخواستم که به کاغذ و مرکب بنویسم، بلکه امیدوارم که به نزد شما بیایم و زبانی گفتگو نمایم تا خوشی ما کامل شود.

13 The children of your sister, who is chosen by God, send you their greetings.

۱۳ فرزندان خواهر برگزیده تو، به تو سلام می‌رسانند. آمین.
