Psalms 112

1 Halleluyah ·praise Yah·! Blessed is the man who fears Adonai, who delights greatly in his mitzvot ·instructions·.

Aleluia! Bem-aventurado é o homem que teme ao SENHOR, e que tem muito prazer em seus mandamentos.

2 His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.

Sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos corretos será bendita.

3 Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.

Em sua casa [haverá] bens e riquezas, e sua justiça permanece para sempre.

4 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.

A luz brilha nas trevas para os corretos, [para quem é] piedoso, misericordioso e justo.

5 It is well with the man who is merciful and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.

O homem bom é misericordioso, e empresta; ele administra suas coisas com prudência.

6 For he will never be shaken. The upright will be remembered forever.

Certamente ele nunca se abalará; o justo será lembrado para sempre.

7 He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Adonai.

Ele não temerá o mau rumor; o seu coração está firme, confiante no SENHOR.

8 His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.

Seu firme coração não temerá, até que ele veja [o fim] de seus inimigos.

9 He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with kavod ·weighty glory·.

Ele distribui, e dá aos necessitados; sua justiça permanece para sempre; seu poder será exaltado em glória.

10 The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.

O perverso verá, e ficará incomodado; rangerá seus dentes, e se consumirá. O desejo dos perversos perecerá.
