Numbers 3
1 Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron [Light-bringer] and Moses [Drawn out] in the day that Adonai spoke with Moses [Drawn out] in Mount Sinai [Thorn].
၁ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သိနာတောင်ပေါ်မှာ မောရှအား ဗျာဒိတ်ပေးတော်မူသောအခါ၊ အာရုန်နှင့် မောရှေအမျိုးအနွယ်၏ အတ္ထုပ္ပတ္တိများကို မှတ်သားသည်တွင်၊
2 These are the names of the sons of Aaron [Light-bringer]: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar [Help of God], and Ithamar.
၂အာရုန်၏သားဟူမူကား၊ သားဦးနာဒပ်၊ ညီအဘိ ဟု၊ ဧလာဇာ၊ ဣသမာတည်း။
3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron [Light-bringer], the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
၃ဤသူတို့ကား၊ အဘသည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အမှု ကို ဆောင်စေခြင်းငှါ ဆီလောင်းခြင်းဘိသိက်ကို ပေး၍ အရာ၌ခန့်ထားသော အာရုန်၏ သားဖြစ်ကြသတည်း။
4 Nadab and Abihu died before Adonai, when they offered strange fire before Adonai, in the wilderness of Sinai [Thorn], and they had no children. Eleazar [Help of God] and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron [Light-bringer] their father.
၄နာဒပ်နှင့်အဘိဟုသည်၊ သိနာတောတွင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ထူးခြားသောမီးကို ပူဇော်သောအခါ ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ သေကြ၏။ သူတို့၌ သားမရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဧလာဇာနှင့် ဣသမာသည်၊ အဘအာရုန် ရှေ့မှာ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အမှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်ကြ၏။
5 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူ သည်ကား၊
6 “Bring the tribe of Levi [United with] near, and set them before Aaron [Light-bringer] the priest, that they may minister to him.
၆သင်သည် လေဝိအမျိုးသားတို့ကို ခေါ်ခဲ့၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အာရုန်အမှုကို ဆောင်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ အာရုန်ထံ၌ နေရာချလော့။
7 They shall keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
၇သူတို့သည် ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာ တဲတော်ရှေ့ မှာ၊ အာရုန်နှင့် ပရိသတ်အပေါင်းတို့ ဆောင်ရသော အမှု တည်းဟူသော တဲတော်အမှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်ရကြမည်။
8 They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel [God prevails], to do the service of the tabernacle.
၈သူတို့သည် ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာ တဲတော် တန်ဆာရှိသမျှတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုပြုစု၍၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားဆောင်ရသော တဲတော်အမှုကို ဆောင်ရကြမည်။
9 You shall give the Levites [Descendants of United with] to Aaron [Light-bringer] and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel [God prevails].
၉လေဝိသားတို့ကို၊ အာရုန်နှင့် သူ၏သားတို့၌ အပ်ရမည်။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးထဲက သူတို့ကိုရွေး၍ ငါ့အား အပိုင်ပေးရမည်။
10 You shall appoint Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.”
၁၀အာရုန်နှင့် သူ၏သားတို့ကိုလည်း ခန့်ထား၏။ သူတို့သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အမှုကို စောင့်ရကြမည်။ သူ၏အမျိုးမှ တပါးအခြားသောသူသည် ချဉ်းကပ်လျှင် အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
11 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
၁၁တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မောရှေအား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊
12 “Behold, I have taken the Levites [Descendants of United with] from among the children of Israel [God prevails] instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel [God prevails]; and the Levites [Descendants of United with] shall be mine:
၁၂ဣသရေလအမျိုးတွင် အဦးဘွားမြင်သော သားဦးများအတွက် လေပိသားတို့ကို ငါရွေးယူသော ကြောင့်၊ လေဝိသားတို့သည် အထူးသဖြင့် ငါ၏လူဖြစ်ရ ကြမည်။
13 for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel [God prevails], both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am Adonai.”
၁၃အကြော်းမူကား အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၌ သားဦးအပေါင်း တို့ကို ငါသည် ဒဏ်ခတ်သောအခါ ဣသရေလအမျိုးတွင် လူဖြစ်စေ၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်ဖြစ်စေ သားဦးအပေါင်းတို့ကို ငါအဖို့ ငါသန့်ရှင်းစေသောကြောင့် သားဦးအပေါ်တို့ကို အထူး သဖြင့် ငါပိုင်ရ၏။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်သည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
14 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] in the wilderness of Sinai [Thorn], saying,
၁၄တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ သိနာတော၌ မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊
15 “Count the children of Levi [United with] by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.”
၁၅လေဝိသားတို့တွင် အသက်တလကျော်ရှိသော ယောက်ျားအပေါင်းတို့ကို အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် ရေတွက် လော့ဟု၊
16 Moses [Drawn out] counted them according to Adonai’s word, as he was enjoined.
၁၆မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ မောရှေသည် လေဝိသားတို့ကို ရေတွက်လေ၏။
17 These were the sons of Levi [United with] by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
၁၇လေဝိသားတို့၏ နာမည်ဟူမူကား၊ ဂေရရှုန်၊ ကောဟတ်၊ မေရာရိတည်း။
18 These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
၁၈မိမိအဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် ဂေရရှုန်သားတို့၏ အမည်ကား လိဗနိနှင့်ရှိမိတည်း။
19 The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, and Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
၁၉မိမိအဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် ကောဟတ်သားတို့၏ နာမည်ကား၊ အာမရံ၊ ဣဇဟာ၊ ဟေဗြုန်၊ ဩဇေလတည်း။
20 The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites [Descendants of United with] according to their fathers’ houses.
၂၀မိမိအဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် မေရာရိသားတို့၏ နာမည်ကား မဟာလိနှင့် မုရှိတည်း၊ ဤသူတို့သည် မိမိ ဘိုးဘေးအမျိုးအလိုက် ရေတွက်သော လေဝိအမျိုးအနွယ် ဖြစ်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
၂၁ဂေရရှုန်မှဆင်းသက်လာသော လိဗနိအဆွေ အမျိုး ရှိမိအဆွေ အမျိုးတို့သည် ဂေရရှုန် အမျိုးအနွယ် ဖြစ်ကြ၏၊
22 Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those who were counted of them were seven thousand five hundred.
၂၂ထိုအဆွေအမျိုးတို့ကို ရေတွက်၍ အသက် တလကျော်ရှိသော ယောက်ျားပေါင်းကား၊ ခုနစ်ထောင် ငါးရာ ရှိသတည်း။
23 The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.
၂၃ဂေရရှုန်အဆွေအမျိုးတို့သည် တဲတော်အ နောက်မျက်နှာ၌ နေရာချရမည်။
24 The prince of the fathers’ house of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
၂၄ဂေရရှုန်အဆွေအမျိုး၊ သူကြီးကား၊ လေလသား ဧလျာသပ်တည်း။
25 The duty of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, its covering, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
၂၅ဂေရရှုန်သားတို့ အငန်းအတာဟူမူကား၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာ တဲတော်အပေါ်တဲ၊ အပေါ်တဲအဖုံး၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာတဲတော်တံခါးဝ၌ ကာသော ကုလားကာ၊
26 and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and around the altar, and its cords for all of its service.
၂၆တဲတော်နှင့် ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ပတ်လည်ဝင်း ကုလား ကာ၊ ဝင်းတံခါးဝ၌ ကာသောကုလားကာ၊ ကြိုးများ အစရှိသည်တို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုပြုစုရကြမည်။
27 Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
၂၇ကောဟတ်မှဆင်းသက်သော အာမရံအဆွေ အမျိုး၊ ဣဇဟာအဆွေအမျိုး၊ ဟေဗြုန်အဆွေအမျိုး၊ ဩဇေလ အဆွေအမျိုး တို့သည်၊ ကောဟတ်အမျိုး အနွှယ် ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
28 According to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.
၂၈တဲတော်ကို စောင့်သောသူ၊ ထိုအဆွေအမျိုးတို့ကို ရေတွက်၍ အသက်တလကျော်ရှိသော ယောက်ျားပေါင်း ကား၊ ရှစ်သောင်းခြောက်ရာ ရှိသတည်း။
29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.
၂၉ကောဟတ်အဆွေအမျိုးတို့သည်၊ တဲတော် တောင်မျက်နှာ၌ နေရာချရမည်။
30 The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
၃၀ကောဟတ်အဆွေအမျိုးသူကြီးကား၊ ဩဇေလ သား ဧလိဇာဖန်တည်း။
31 Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the menorah ·lamp·, the altars, the utensils of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the screen, and all its service.
၃၁သူတို့အငန်းအတာဟူမူကား၊ သေတ္တာ၊ စားပွဲ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်များ၊ အမှုတော်ထမ်းစရာ တဲတော်တန်ဆာ များ၊ အတွင်းကုလားကာ အစရှိသည်တို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုရကြ မည်။
32 Eleazar [Help of God] the son of Aaron [Light-bringer] the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites [Descendants of United with], with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.
၃၂ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အာရုန်သား ဧလာဇာသည် လေဝိအဆွေအမျိုး သူကြီးတို့ကို အုပ်၍ တဲတော်စောင့် သော သူတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုစီရင်ရမည်။
33 Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.
၃၃မေရာရိမှ ဆင်းသက်သော မဟာလိအဆွေအမျိုး၊ မုရှိအဆွေအမျိုးတို့သည်၊ မေရာရိ အမျိုးအနွယ် ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
34 Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
၃၄ထိုအဆွေအမျိုးတို့ကို ရေတွက်၍ အသက်တလကျော်ရှိသော ယောက်ျားပေါင်းကား၊ ခြောက်ထောင် ခုနစ်ရာ ရှိသတည်း။
35 The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.
၃၅မေရာရိအဆွေအမျိုးသူကြီးကား၊ အဘိဟဲလသား ဇုရေလတည်း။ ဤသူတို့သည် တဲတော်မြောက် မျက်နှာ၌ နေရာချရမည်။
36 The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,
၃၆မေရာရိသားတို့ အငန်းအတာဟူမူကား၊ တဲ တော်ပျဉ်ပြားများ ကန့်လန့်ကျင့်များ၊ တိုင်များ၊ ခြေစွပ် များ၊ ထိုအရာနှင့်ဆိုင်သော တန်ဆာများ အစရှိသည်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ ဝင်းတိုင်များ၊
37 the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.
၃၇ခြေစွပ်များ၊ တံသင်များ၊ ကြိုးများတို့ကို၎င်း ကြည့်ရှုပြုစုကြရမည်။
38 Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses [Drawn out], and Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel [God prevails]. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
၃၈မောရှေနှင့် အာရုန်မှစ၍ အာရုန်၏ သားတို့ သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အဘို့၊ သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာန တော်ကို စောင့်လျက်၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာတဲတော် အရှေ့မျက်နှာ၌ နေရာချရမည်။ သူတို့အမျိုးမှတပါး၊ အခြားသောသူသည် ချဉ်းကပ်လျှင် အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရမည်။
39 All who were counted of the Levites [Descendants of United with], whom Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] counted by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
၃၉ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ မောရှေသည် လေဝိသားတို့ကို အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် ရေတွက်၍ အသက်တလကျော်ရှိသော ယောက်ျား အပေါင်းကား၊ နှစ်သောင်းနှစ်ထောင် ရှိသတည်း။
40 Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Count all the firstborn males of the children of Israel [God prevails] from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
၄၀တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မောရှေအား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့တွင်၊ အသက် တလကျော်ရှိသော သားဦးယောက်ျားအပေါင်းတို့ကို ရေတွက်၍ စာရင်းယူလော့။
41 You shall take the Levites [Descendants of United with] for me (I am Adonai ·) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel [God prevails]; and the livestock of the Levites [Descendants of United with] instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel [God prevails].”
၄၁ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားဦးအပေါင်းတို့အတွက် လေဝိသားတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၌ တိရစ္ဆာန်သားဦးအပေါင်း တို့အတွက် လေဝိသား တို့၌ ရှိသော တိရစ္ဆာန်များကို၎င်း၊ ငါ့အဘို့ယူလော့။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်သည်ဟု၊
42 Moses [Drawn out] counted, as Adonai enjoined him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel [God prevails].
၄၂မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း မောရှေသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားဦးအပေါင်းတို့ကို ရေတွက်၍၊
43 All the firstborn males according to the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those who were counted of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.
၄၃အသက်တလကျော်ရှိသော သားဦးယောက်ျားနာမည်ပေါင်းကား၊ နှစ်သောင်း နှစ်ထောင်နှစ်ရာ ခုနစ်ဆယ်သုံးယောက် ရှိသတည်း။
44 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
၄၄တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊
45 “Take the Levites [Descendants of United with] instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel [God prevails], and the livestock of the Levites [Descendants of United with] instead of their livestock; and the Levites [Descendants of United with] shall be mine. I am Adonai.
၄၅ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားဦးအပေါင်းတို့အတွက် လေဝိသားတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၌ တိရစ္ဆာန် များအတွက် လေဝိသားတို့၌ရှိသော တိရစ္ဆာန် များကို၎င်း ယူလော့။ လေဝိသားတို့သည် ငါ၏ လူဖြစ်ရကြမည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်၏။
46 For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel [God prevails], who exceed the number of the Levites [Descendants of United with],
၄၆လေဝိသားတို့ထက်ပိုသော ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားဦး နှစ်ရာခုနစ်ဆယ်သုံးယောက်တို့ကို ရွေးရမည်အမှု မှာ၊
47 you shall take five shekels [2 oz; 56.7 g] for each one, that is 273 shekels [6.83 lb; 3.1 kg] total; after the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them; (the shekel is 0.4oz; 11.34 g; or called twenty gerahs 20/50 of an oz):
၄၇အကျပ်တော်အလိုက် လူတကိုယ်လျှင် ငါးကျပ်စီ ခံယူရမည်။ အကျပ်ကား၊ ဂေရနှစ်ဆယ်ဖြစ်သတည်း။
48 and you shall give the money, with which their remainder is redeemed, to Aaron [Light-bringer] and to his sons.”
၄၈ပိုသောသူတို့ပေးရသော အရွေးငွေကို၊ အာရုန် နှင့် သူ၏သားတို့အား ပေးရမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း၊
49 Moses [Drawn out] took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites [Descendants of United with];
၄၉လေဝိသားတို့နှင့် ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားဦးတို့ ကို ရွေး၍ ပိုသေးသော သားဦးတို့၏ အရွေးငွေကို၊
50 from the firstborn of the children of Israel [God prevails] he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels [34.13 lb; 15.48 kg], after the shekel of the sanctuary [0.4 oz; 11.34 g]:
၅၀မောရှေသည် အကျပ်တော်နှင့်ချိန်လျက်၊ အခွက် တဆယ်သုံးပိဿာခြောက်ဆယ်ငါးကျပ်ကိုယူ ပြီးလျှင်၊
51 and Moses [Drawn out] gave the redemption money to Aaron [Light-bringer] and to his sons, according to Adonai’s word, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
၅၁ထာဝရဘုရားမှာထားတော်မူသော စကားတော်အတိုင်း ထိုအရွေးငွေကို အာရုန်နှင့် သူ၏သားတို့အား ပေးလေ၏။
