Luke 2
1 Now in those days, a decree went out from Caesar [Ruler] Augustus [Revered, Esteemed, Venerable] that all the world should be enrolled.
၁ထို အခါ တစ်နိုင်ငံ လုံးကို စာရင်း ယူစေခြင်းငှာကဲသာ ဘုရင်ဩဂုတ္တု သည် အမိန့် တော်ရှိ ၏။
2 This was the first enrollment made when Quirinius was governor of Syria [Elevated].
၂ကုရေနိ သည် ရှုရိ ပြည်၌မြို့ဝန် ဖြစ် စဉ်တွင်၊ ဤ ပဌမ စာရင်း ယူခြင်း ဖြစ်သတည်း။
3 All went to enroll themselves, everyone to his own city.
၃လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် စာရင်းဝင် ခြင်းငှာအသီးအသီး မိမိ တို့မြို့ ရွာသို့ သွား ကြ၏။
4 Joseph [May he add] also went up from Galilee [District, Circuit], out of the city of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one], into Judea [Praise], to David [Beloved]’s city, which is called Bethlehem [House of Bread], because he was of the house and family of David [Beloved];
၄ယောသပ် သည်လည်း ဒါဝိဒ် အမျိုးအနွယ် ဖြစ် ၍၊ ထိမ်းမြား ဆောင်နှင်းသောမယား မာရိ နှင့်အတူ စာရင်းဝင် ခြင်းငှာ၊
5 to enroll himself with Mary [Rebellion], who was pledged to be married to him as wife, being pregnant.
၅ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်နာဇရက် မြို့ မှ ယုဒ ပြည် တွင် ဗက်လင် အမည် ရှိသောဒါဝိဒ် ၏မြို့ သို့ သွား ၏။ ထိုအခါမာရိသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေ အရင့်အမာရှိ ၏။
6 While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth.
၆ဗက်လင်မြို့၌ရှိ နေ စဉ်၊ ဘွား အံ့သော နေ့ လစေ့ လျှင်၊
7 She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.
၇သားဦး ကိုဘွားမြင် ၍ အဝတ် နှင့်ပတ်ရစ်ပြီးမှ ၊ ဧည့်သည် တည်းရာစရပ်၌ သူ တို့နေစရာ မ ရှိ သောကြောင့် ၊ သူငယ် ကို နွားစားခွက် ၌ သိပ်ထား လေ၏။
8 There were shepherds in the same country staying in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock.
၈ထိုပြည် မှာ သိုးထိန်း တို့သည် ညဉ့် အခါ တော အရပ်၌ တည်းခို လျက်၊ မိမိ သိုးစု ကိုစောင့် နေကြသည် ဖြစ် ၍၊
9 Behold, an angel of Adonai stood by them, and the shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God· shone around them, and they were terrified.
၉ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် သူ တို့အနားမှာပေါ်လာ ၍ ၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ၌ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ဘုန်း တော်ထွန်းတောက်သဖြင့် ၊ သူတို့သည် အလွန် ကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြ၏။
10 The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.
၁၀ကောင်းကင် တမန်ကလည်း ၊ ကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်းမ ရှိကြနှင့်။ လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် အလွန် ဝမ်းမြောက် ဝမ်းသာစရာသတင်း ကို ငါသည်သင် တို့အား ကြားပြောရ၏။
11 For there is born to you today, in David [Beloved]’s city, a Savior, who is Messiah [Anointed one] the MarYah [Master Yahweh].
၁၁ယနေ့ တွင် ဒါဝိဒ် မြို့ ၌ သခင် ခရစ်တော် တည်းဟူသောကယ်တင် သောအရှင်သည် သင် တို့အဘို့ အလိုငှာဘွားမြင် ခြင်းကိုခံတော်မူပြီ။
12 This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough.”
၁၂သင် တို့သည် အဘယ်နိမိတ် ဖြင့် သိရမည်နည်းဟူမူကား ၊ သူငယ် သည်အဝတ် နှင့် ပတ်ရစ်၍ နွားစားခွက် ၌ သိပ်ထား လျက်ရှိသည်ကို တွေ့ ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို ပြီးလျှင် ၊
13 Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army praising God, and saying,
၁၃ထို ကောင်းကင်တမန် နှင့်အတူ ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေ အများ တို့သည် ချက်ခြင်း ထင်ရှား ၍ ၊
14 “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.”
၁၄ကောင်းကင် ဘဝဂ်ဝယ် ဘုရားသခင် သည် ဘုန်းကြီး တော်မူစေသတည်း။ မြေကြီး ပေါ်၌ ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းရှိစေသတည်း။ လူ တို့အား မေတ္တာ ကရုဏာရှိစေသတည်းဟုဘုရားသခင် ကို ချီးမွမ်း ၍မြွက်ဆို ကြ၏။
15 When the angels went away from them into the sky, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem [House of Bread], now, and see this thing that has happened, which MarYah [Master Yahweh] has made known to us.”
၁၅ကောင်းကင်တမန် တို့သည် ကောင်းကင် ဘုံသို့ ပြန် ကြပြီးမှ သိုးထိန်း တို့က၊ ငါတို့သည် ဗက်လင် မြို့သို့ သွား ကြကုန်အံ့။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ဖော်ပြ တော်မူသော ဤ အမှုအရာ ကို ကြည့် ကြကုန်အံ့ဟု အချင်းချင်း ပြောဆို ပြီးလျှင် ၊
16 They came with haste, and found both Mary [Rebellion] and Joseph [May he add], and the baby was lying in the feeding trough.
၁၆အလျင်အမြန် သွား ၍ မာရိ နှင့် ယောသပ် ကို၎င်း ၊ နွားစားခွက် ၌ သိပ်ထား လျက်ရှိသောသူငယ် ကို၎င်း တွေ့ ကြ၏။
17 When they saw it, they publicized widely the saying which was spoken to them about this child.
၁၇တွေ့မြင် ပြီးမှ မိမိ တို့ကြား သောထို သူငယ် ၏ အကြောင်း စကား ကို အနှံ့အပြား ပြောကြ၏။
18 All who heard it wondered at the things which were spoken to them by the shepherds.
၁၈သိုးထိန်း တို့ပြော သောစကား ကိုကြား သော သူ ရှိသမျှ တို့သည် အံ့ဩ ခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
19 But Mary [Rebellion] kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.
၁၉မာရိ သည်ထို အကြောင်းအရာအလုံးစုံ တို့ကို မှတ်ကျုံး ၍ စဉ်းစား ဆင်ခြင်လျက်နေ၏။
20 The shepherds teshuvah ·completely returned·, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them.
၂၀သိုးထိန်း တို့သည်လည်း မိမိ တို့အား ပြော နှင့်သည်အတိုင်း ကြား မြင် သမျှ သော အကြောင်းအရာကိုထောက်၍၊ ဘုရားသခင် ကို အံ့ဩ ချီးမွမ်း လျက် ပြန်သွား ကြ၏။
21 When eight days were fulfilled for the circumcision of the child, his name was called Yeshua [Salvation], which was given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
၂၁ထိုသူငယ် အား အရေဖျားလှီး ခြင်းကို ပေးရသောနေ့တည်းဟူသောရှစ် ရက်မြောက်သောနေ့ ရောက် လျှင် ၊ ပဋိသန္ဓေ စွဲတော်မ မူမှီကောင်းကင်တမန် မှည့် သော ယေရှု အမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် ကြ၏။
22 When the time came for their purification according to the Torah ·Teaching· of Moses [Drawn out] were fulfilled, they brought him up to Jerusalem [City of peace], to present him to MarYah [Master Yahweh]
၂၂ထိုနောက် မောရှေ ၏ ပညတ် တရားအတိုင်း စင်ကြယ် ခြင်းကိုပြုရသော နေ့ရက် စေ့ သောအခါ ၊ မိဘတို့ သည် သူငယ် ကို ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ ဆောင်သွား ၍၊
23 (as it is written in the Torah ·Teaching· of MarYah [Master Yahweh], “Every firstborn male shall be consecrated holy to MarYah [Master Yahweh]”),
၂၃သားဦး ယောက်ျား အပေါင်း တို့သည် ဘုရား အဘို့ သန့်ရှင်း ရကြ၏ဟု ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ပညတ္တိ ကျမ်းလာ သည်နှင့်အညီ ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားအား ဆက်ကပ် ပြီးမှ ၊
24 and to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the Torah ·Teaching· of MarYah [Master Yahweh], “A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.”
၂၄ခို နှစ် ကောင်ဖြစ်စေ ၊ ချိုး ကလေး နှစ် ကောင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ တစ်ခုခုကိုပူဇော် ရမည်ဟု ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ပညတ္တိ ကျမ်းလာ ပြန်သည်နှင့်အညီ ယဇ် ပူဇော်ကြ၏။
25 Behold, there was a man in Jerusalem [City of peace] whose name was Simeon [Hearing]. This man was upright and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel [God prevails], and Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness] was on him.
၂၅ထိုအခါ ရှုမောင် အမည် ရှိသောသူ တစ်ယောက်သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ရှိ ၏။ ထို သူ သည် ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ ၊ တရား ကိုရိုသေသောသူ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ သက်သာ ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို မြော်လင့် သောသူ ဖြစ်၏။ သန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် သူ့ အပေါ် ၌တည် သည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊
26 It had been revealed to him by Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness] that he should not see death before he had seen Adonai’s Messiah [Anointed one].
၂၆သူ သည်ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ခရစ်တော် ကိုမ မြင် မှီ မ သေ ရဟု ဗျာဒိတ် တော်ကိုရ၏။
27 Prompted by haRuach [the Spirit], he went into the temple courts; and when the parents brought in the child Yeshua [Salvation] to do for him what the Torah ·Teaching· required,
၂၇ထိုအခါ သူ သည် ဝိညာဉ် တော်အားဖြင့် ဗိမာန် တော်သို့ သွား ၍ ၊ မိဘ တို့သည် သူငယ် ယေရှု ကို ပညတ် တရားထုံးတမ်း အတိုင်း ပြု ခြင်းငှာဆောင်သွား စဉ် တွင်၊
28 then he received him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,
၂၈ရှုမောင် သည်ယေရှု ကို လက် နှင့် ချီပိုက် ၍ ၊
29 “Now you are releasing your servant, Master, according to your word, in peace;
၂၉ဘုရားသခင် ၏ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်၊ အစိုးရတော်မူသောအရှင် ၊ ဗျာဒိတ် တော်အတိုင်း ကိုယ်တော် ၏ကျွန် သည် ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ စုတေ့ ရသောအခွင့်ကို ကိုယ်တော်သည် ယခု တွင်ပေးတော်မူ၏။
30 for my eyes have seen your method of salvation,
၃၀ကိုယ်တော် ၏လူ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ချီးမြှောက် စေခြင်းငှာ ၎င်း ၊
31 which you have prepared before the face of all peoples;
၃၁တစ်ပါး အမျိုးသားတို့ကို လင်း စေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း၊
32 a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel [God prevails].”
၃၂လူ အမျိုးမျိုး တို့ရှေ့မှောက် ၌ ပြင်ဆင် တော်မူသောအလင်း တည်းဟူသော ကယ်တင် သောသခင်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ် မျက်စိ နှင့်မြင် ရပါ၏ဟု မြွက်ဆို ၏။
33 Joseph [May he add] and his mother were marveling at the things which were spoken concerning him,
၃၃ထိုစကား များကို ယောသပ် နှင့် မယ်တော် သည် ကြားလျှင် အံ့ဩ ခြင်းရှိ ကြ၏။
34 and Simeon [Hearing] blessed them, and said to Mary [Rebellion], his mother, “Behold, this child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Israel [God prevails], and for a sign which is spoken against.
၃၄ရှုမောင် သည်လည်း သူ တို့ကိုကောင်းကြီး ပေး၍ မယ်တော် မာရိ အား ၊ ဤ သူငယ်ကား ဣသရေလ လူ အများ လဲ မည်အကြောင်း ၊ အများထ မည်အကြောင်း၊ လူအများ တို့၏အကြံအစည် ကို ထင်ရှား စေခြင်းငှာငြင်းခုံ စရာဖြစ်မည်အကြောင်း ခန့်ထား သောသူဖြစ်၏။
35 Yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
၃၅ထိုမှတစ်ပါး သန်လျက် သည် သင် ၏စိတ် နှလုံးကို ခွင်း လိမ့်မည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို ၏။
36 There was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher [Happy] (she was of a great age, having lived with a husband seven years from her virginity,
၃၆အာရှာ အမျိုး ဖြစ်သော ဖနွေလ ၏သမီး ၊ အန္န အမည်ရှိသော ပရောဖက်မ တစ်ယောက်ရှိ ၏။ သူ သည် ပျို သောအရွယ်မှစ၍ ခုနစ် နှစ် သောလင် နှင့် နေ ပြီးလျှင်၊
37 and she had been a widow for about eighty-four years), who didn’t depart from the temple, worshiping with fastings and petitions night and day.
၃၇အသက် ကြီးရင့် ၍ အနှစ် ရှစ်ဆယ်လေး နှစ်ခန့်မျှ တိုင်တိုင် မုတ်ဆိုးမ ဖြစ် လျက်၊ ဆုတောင်း ခြင်းနှင့် အစာရှောင် ခြင်းအားဖြင့်နေ့ ညဉ့် မပြတ်ဘုရား ဝတ်ကိုပြု၍ ဗိမာန် တော်နှင့် မ ခွာ ဘဲနေ၏။
38 Coming up at that very hour, she gave thanks to Yahweh, and spoke of him to all those who were looking for redemption in Jerusalem [City of peace].
၃၈သူ သည်လည်း ထို ခဏခြင်း တွင်ဝင် ၍ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း လေ၏။ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ ၌ ရွေးနှုတ် ခြင်းအရာကို မြော်လင့် သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့အား ထိုသူငယ် ၏ အကြောင်း ကို ပြော လေ၏။
39 When they had accomplished everything required by the Torah ·Teaching· of MarYah [Master Yahweh], they returned into Galilee [District, Circuit], to their town of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one].
၃၉မိဘ တို့သည် ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ပညတ် တရားအတိုင်း ပြုရသမျှတို့ကို အကုန်အစင် ပြုပြီးမှ၊ ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်၊ နာဇရက် အမည်ရှိသောမိမိ တို့ မြို့ သို့ ပြန် ကြ၏။
40 The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
၄၀သူငယ် သည်လည်း ကြီးပွား ၍ ပညာ ဉာဏ်သတ္တိ နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ ၏။ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ကျေးဇူး တော်သည်လည်း သူ့ အပေါ် ၌တည် ၏။
41 His parents went every year to Jerusalem [City of peace] at the festival of the Pesac ·Passover·.
၄၁မိဘ တို့သည် နှစ် တိုင်း အစဉ်ပသခါ ပွဲ ခံချိန်ရောက်လျှင် ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ သွား ကြ၏။
42 When he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem [City of peace] according to the custom of the feast,
၄၂ယေရှုသည် တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ် နှစ် ရှိသောအခါ ပသခါ ပွဲ ထုံးစံ အတိုင်း ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့တက် ကြ၍၊
43 and when they had fulfilled the days, as they were making teshuvah ·complete return·, the boy Yeshua [Salvation] stayed behind in Jerusalem [City of peace]. Joseph [May he add] and his mother didn’t know it,
၄၃ပွဲနေ့ရက် လွန် ပြီးမှ မိဘ တို့သည်ပြန် ကြလျှင် ၊ သူငယ် ယေရှု သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ နေရစ် လေ၏။ ယောသပ် နှင့်မယ်တော်သည် ထိုအကြောင်းကို မ သိ ၍ ၊
44 but supposing him to be in the company, they went a day’s journey, and they looked for him among their relatives and acquaintances.
၄၄အပေါင်းအဘော် စုထဲမှာ သူငယ် ပါ သည်ဟု စိတ်ထင် နှင့် တစ်နေ့ ခရီး သွား မိလျှင် ၊ အဆွေအမျိုး အသိအကျွမ်း တို့တွင် ရှာ ၍၊
45 When they didn’t find him, they make teshuvah ·complete return· to Jerusalem [City of peace], looking for him.
၄၅မ တွေ့ သောအခါ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ ပြန် ၍ရှာ ကြ၏။
46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the middle of the teachers, both listening to them, and asking them questions.
၄၆သူငယ်မူကား ၊ ဗိမာန် တော်၌ ဆရာ များအလယ် မှာ ထိုင် ၍ ထိုသူ တို့နှင့် ဆွေးနွေး မေးမြန်းလျက်ရှိသည်ကို မိဘတို့သည် သုံး ရက် ကြာ မှတွေ့ ကြ၏။
47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
၄၇သူ၏ စကားကိုကြား သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် သူ၏ ပညာ ကို၎င်း၊ စကားအဖြေ ကို၎င်း အံ့ဩ ကြ၏။
48 When they saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us this way? Behold, your 'Avikah ·your Father· and I were anxiously looking for you.”
၄၈မိဘတို့သည် သား ကိုမြင် လျှင် မိန်းမော တွေဝေ၍ မယ်တော် က၊ ငါ့သား ၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငါ တို့အား ဤသို့ ပြု သနည်း။ ညှိုးငယ် ကြောင့်ကြသော စိတ်နှင့်မိဘတို့သည် မောင်ကိုရှာ ကြပြီဟုဆို သော်၊
49 He said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in 'Avi ·my Father·’s house?”
၄၉ယေရှုက၊ မိဘသည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုရှာ ရပါသနည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ် သည်အဘ ၏ အိမ်၌ နေ ရ သည်ကို မ သိ ပါသလောဟု ပြောဆို လျှင် ၊
50 They didn’t understand the saying which he spoke to them.
၅၀သူ တို့သည် ထို စကား ကိုနား မ လည်ကြ။
51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth [Branch, Separated one]. He was subject to them, and his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
၅၁ထိုနောက် ယေရှုသည် မိဘ တို့နှင့်အတူ သွား သဖြင့် နာဇရက် မြို့သို့ ရောက် ၍ သူ တို့စကားကို နားထောင် လျက်နေ လေ၏။ ထို အကြောင်း အရာအလုံးစုံ တို့ကို မယ်တော် သည် နှလုံး ထဲ၌ မှတ်ကျုံး လေ၏။
52 And Yeshua [Salvation] increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
၅၂ယေရှု သည်လည်း အစဉ်အတိုင်းကြီး၍ ပညာ တိုးပွား လျက်၊ ဘုရားသခင် ရှေ့၊ လူတို့ ရှေ့ မှာမျက်နှာ ရတော်မူ၏။
