Isaiah 56
1 Adonai says, “Maintain mishpat ·justice·, and do what is right; for my yishu'ah ·salvation· is near, and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
Assim diz o SENHOR: Guardai o que é justo, e praticai a justiça; porque minha salvação já está perto de vir, e minha justiça de se manifestar.
2 Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath ·To cease· without profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
Bem-aventurado o homem que fizer isto, e o filho do homem que permanece nisto; que se guarda para não profanar o sábado, e guarda sua mão para não cometer algum mal.
3 Let no foreigner, who has joined himself to Adonai, speak, saying, “Adonai will surely separate me from his people.” Do not let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
E não fale o filho do estrangeiro, que tiver se ligado ao SENHOR, dizendo: Certamente o SENHOR me excluiu de seu povo; nem fale o eunuco: Eis que sou uma árvore seca.
4 For Adonai says, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·:
Porque assim diz o SENHOR: Aos eunucos, que guardam os meus sábados, e escolhe aquilo em que me agrado, e permanecem em meu pacto,
5 I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name, that will not be cut off.
Eu também lhes darei em minha casa, e dentro de meus muros, lugar e nome, melhor que o de filhos e filhas; darei um nome eterno a cada um deles, que nunca se apagará.
6 Also the foreigners who join themselves to Adonai, to serve him, and to 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath ·To cease· from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·;
E aos filhos dos estrangeiros, que se ligarem ao SENHOR, para o servirem, e para amarem o nome do SENHOR, e para serem seus servos, todos os que guardarem o sábado, não o profanando, e os que permanecerem em meu pacto,
7 I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Eu os levarei ao meu santo monte, e lhes farei se alegrarem em minha casa de oração; seus holocaustos e seus sacrifícios serão aceitos em meu altar; porque minha casa será chamada “Casa de oração para todos os povos”.
8 The Lord Adonai, who gathers the outcasts of Israel [God prevails], says, “I will yet gather others to him, besides his own who are gathered.”
[Assim] diz o Senhor DEUS, que junta os dispersos de Israel: Ainda [outros] mais lhe ajuntarei, além dos que já lhe foram ajuntados.
9 All you animals of the field, come to devour, all you animals in the forest.
Todos vós, animais do campo, vinde comer!
10 His watchmen are blind. They are all without knowledge. They are all mute dogs. They can’t bark; dreaming, lying down, 'ahav ·affectionately loving· slumber.
Todos os seus vigilantes são cegos, nada sabem; todos são cães mudos, não podem latir; andam adormecidos, estão deitados, e amam cochilar.
11 Yes, the dogs are greedy. They can never have enough. They are shepherds who can’t understand. They have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
E estes são cães gulosos, não conseguem se satisfazer; e eles são pastores que nada sabem entender; todos eles se viram a seus caminhos, cada um à sua ganância, [cada um] por si.
12 “Come,” say they, “I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be as today, great beyond measure.”
[Eles dizem]: Vinde, trarei vinho, e nos encheremos de bebida alcoólica; e o dia de amanhã será como hoje, e muito melhor!
