even as you gave him power over all humanity, so that he should give eternal life to everyone you have given him. (aiōnios )
And this is the everlasting life, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou didst send. (aiōnios )
And the eternal life is this – to know you the one true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent as your messenger. (aiōnios )
because thou wilt not abandon my soul to the underworld, nor wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption. (Hadēs )
For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor surrender me, your holy one, to undergo corruption. (Hadēs )
he foresaw and spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that neither was he abandoned to the underworld, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs )
and referred to the resurrection of the Christ when he said that he had not been abandoned to Hades, nor had his body undergone corruption. (Hadēs )
whom heaven indeed must receive until the times of a restoration of all things; of which times God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from the days of old. (aiōn )
But heaven must be his home, until the days of the Universal Restoration, of which God has spoken by the lips of his holy prophets from the very first. (aiōn )
Then Paul and Barnabas said boldly and plainly, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you; but seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of the everlasting life, lo! we turn to the gentiles. (aiōnios )
Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out fearlessly, and said: ‘It was necessary that the message of God should be told to you first; but, since you reject it and reckon yourselves not worthy of the eternal life – we turn to the Gentiles! (aiōnios )
And when the gentiles heard this, they rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were ordained to everlasting life, believed. (aiōnios )
On hearing this, the Gentiles were glad and extolled God’s message; and all those who had been enrolled for eternal life became believers in Christ; (aiōnios )
which were known from the beginning.” (aiōn )
says the Lord, as he does these things, known from long ago.” (aiōn )
For, ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes, even his eternal power and divinity, being perceived from his works, are clearly seen, so that they might be without excuse. (aïdios )
For ever since the creation of the universe God’s invisible attributes – his everlasting power and divinity – are to be seen and studied in his works, so that people have no excuse; (aïdios )
because they changed the true God for false gods, and adored and worshipped created things rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
for they had substituted a lie for the truth about God, and had reverenced and worshiped created things more than the Creator, who is to be praised for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
everlasting life to those who by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory, and honor, and incorruption; (aiōnios )
To those who, by perseverance in doing good, aim at glory, honour, and all that is imperishable, he will give immortal life; (aiōnios )
that as sin reigned in death, so grace might reign through righteousness to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
in order that, just as sin had reigned in the realm of death, so, too, might loving-kindness reign through righteousness, and result in eternal life, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. (aiōnios )
But now having been delivered from the slavery of sin, and having become the bondservants of God, ye have holiness as the fruit, and everlasting life as the end. (aiōnios )
But now that you have been set free from the control of sin, and have become servants to God, the fruit that you reap is an ever increasing holiness, and the end eternal life. (aiōnios )
For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is everlasting life, through Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
The wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through union with Christ Jesus, our Lord. (aiōnios )
whose are the fathers, and from whom, as to the flesh, was the Christ. He who is over all, God, be blessed for ever! Amen. (aiōn )
They are descended from the patriarchs, and, as far as his human nature was concerned, from them came the Christ – he who is supreme over all things, God for ever blessed. Amen. (aiōn )
Or, “Who shall descend into the abyss?” that is, to bring up Christ from the dead. (Abyssos )
“or ‘Who will go down into the depths below?’” (which means to bring Christ up from the dead). (Abyssos )
For God delivered up all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all. (eleēsē )
For God has given all alike over to disobedience, that to all alike he may show mercy. (eleēsē )
For from him, and through him, and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen. (aiōn )
For all things are from him, through him, and for him. And to him be all glory for ever and ever! Amen. (aiōn )
and be not conformed to the fashion of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that ye may learn by experience what is the will of God, what is good, and well-pleasing, and perfect. (aiōn )
Do not conform to the fashion of this world; but be transformed by the complete change that has come over your minds, so that you may discern what God’s will is – all that is good, acceptable, and perfect. (aiōn )
Now to him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which for eternal ages was unrevealed, (aiōnios )
Now to him who is able to strengthen you, as promised in the good news entrusted to me and in the proclamation of Jesus Christ, in accordance with the revelation of that hidden purpose, which in past ages was kept secret but now has been revealed (aiōnios )
but is now made manifest, and through the writings of the prophets, by the command of the everlasting God, is made known to all the nations to bring them to obedience to the faith, — (aiōnios )
and, in obedience to the command of the immortal God, made known through the writings of the prophets to all nations, to secure submission to the faith – (aiōnios )
to God, the only wise, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ever! Amen. (aiōn )
to him, I say, the wise and only God, be ascribed, through Jesus Christ, all glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn )
Where is the philosopher? Where the teacher of the Law? Where the disputant of today? Has not God shown the world’s philosophy to be folly? (aiōn )
But we do speak wisdom among the perfect; not, however, the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nought; (aiōn )
Yet there is a philosophy that we teach to those whose faith is matured, but it is not the philosophy of today, or of the leaders of today – whose downfall is at hand. (aiōn )
but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God determined on before the world was, for our glory; (aiōn )
No, it is a divine philosophy that we teach, one concerned with the hidden purpose of God – that long hidden philosophy which God, before time began, destined for our glory. (aiōn )
which none of the rulers of this world comprehended; for had they comprehended it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; (aiōn )
This philosophy is clearly not known to any of the leaders of today, since, had they known it, they would never have crucified our glorious Lord! (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself; if any one thinketh himself wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you imagines that, as regards this world, they are wise, they should become a “fool,” that they may become wise. (aiōn )
Wherefore, if food cause my brother to fall, I will eat no flesh for ever, lest I cause my brother to fall. Am I not free? (aiōn )
Therefore, if what I eat makes a follower of the Lord fall, rather than make them fall, I will never eat meat again. (aiōn )
Now these things happened to them as warnings, and were recorded for our admonition, to whom the ends of the ages have come. (aiōn )
These things happened to them by way of warning, and were recorded to serve as a caution to us, in whose days the close of the ages has come. (aiōn )
“Where, O death, is thy sting? Where, O death, is thy victory?” (Hadēs )
“death has been swallowed up in victory! Where, Death, is your victory? Where, death, is your sting?” (Hadēs )
in whom the God of this world blinded the understandings of the unbelieving, so that they cannot behold the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (aiōn )
people whose minds have been blinded by the God of this age, unbelievers as they are, so that the light from the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the incarnation of God, should not shine for them. (aiōn )
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh out for us, in a higher and still higher degree, an everlasting weight of glory; (aiōnios )
The light burden of our momentary trouble is preparing for us a weight of imperishable glory, beyond all measure. (aiōnios )
while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are but for a time; but the things which are not seen are ever lasting. (aiōnios )
We, all the while, gaze not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is transient, but what is unseen is imperishable. (aiōnios )
For we know that, if our earthly tent-habitation be destroyed, we have a building provided by God, a house not made with hands, everlasting, in the heavens. (aiōnios )
For we know that if our tent – that earthly body which is now our home – is taken down, we have a house of God’s building, a home not made by hands, imperishable, in heaven. (aiōnios )
as it is written: “He dispersed abroad, he gave to the poor; his righteousness remaineth for ever.” (aiōn )
(As scripture says – “He shared freely, he gave to the poor; his righteousness continues for ever.” (aiōn )
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I am not lying. (aiōn )
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus – he who is for ever blessed – knows that I am speaking the truth. (aiōn )
who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from the present evil world, according to the will of God our Father; (aiōn )
For Christ, to rescue us from this present wicked age, gave himself for our sins, in accordance with the will of our God and Father, (aiōn )
to whom be the glory for ever and ever! Amen. (aiōn )
to whom be ascribed all glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
for he that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (aiōnios )
For the person who sows the field of their earthly nature will from that earthly nature reap corruption; while the one who sows the field of the spirit will from that spirit reap eternal life. (aiōnios )
far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come; (aiōn )
and above every name that can be named, whether in the present age, or in the age to come. (aiōn )
in which ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience; (aiōn )
For at one time you lived in sin, following the ways of the world, in subjection to the Ruler of the powers of the air – the Spirit who is still at work among the disobedient. (aiōn )
that he might show in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
in order that, by his goodness to us in Christ Jesus, he might display in the ages to come the boundless wealth of his loving kindness. (aiōn )
to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery, which hath been hidden for ages in God, who created all things; (aiōn )
and to make clear what is God’s way of working out that hidden purpose which from the first has been concealed in the mind of the Creator of all things; (aiōn )
according to his purpose for ages, which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord; (aiōn )
in accordance with that purpose which runs through all the ages and which he has now accomplished in Jesus, the Christ, our Master. (aiōn )
to him be the glory in the church in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
to him be all glory through the church and through Christ Jesus, for all generations, age after age. Amen. (aiōn )
for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of evil in the heavenly regions. (aiōn )
For ours is no struggle against enemies of flesh and blood, but against all the various powers of evil that hold sway in the darkness around us, against the spirits of wickedness on high. (aiōn )
Now to God, our Father, be glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
To him, our God and Father, be ascribed all glory for every and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
the mystery which hath been hidden for ages and generations, but hath been now revealed to his saints; (aiōn )
that truth which has been hidden from former ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to God’s people, (aiōn )
who will be punished with everlasting destruction proceeding from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power, (aiōnios )
They will pay the penalty of unutterable ruin – banished from the presence of the Lord and from the glorious manifestation of his might, (aiōnios )
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, our Father, who loved us, and gave us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, (aiōnios )
And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and, in his loving kindness, gave us unfailing consolation and good ground for hope, (aiōnios )
But for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me especially Christ Jesus might show forth all his long-suffering, as an example to those who should hereafter believe in him to life everlasting. (aiōnios )
Yet mercy was shown me for the express purpose that Christ Jesus might exhibit in my case, beyond all others, his exhaustless patience, as an example for those who were afterwards to believe on him and attain eternal life. (aiōnios )
Now to the King eternal, the imperishable, invisible, only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
To the eternal King, ever-living, invisible, the one God, be ascribed honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on everlasting life, to which thou wast called, and didst profess the good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
Run the great race of the faith, and win the eternal life. It was for this that you received the call, and, in the presence of many witnesses, made the great profession of faith. (aiōnios )
who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, whom no man hath seen, or can see; to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios )
who alone is possessed of immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or ever can see – to whom be ascribed honour and power for ever. Amen. (aiōnios )
Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not high-minded, nor place their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, (aiōn )
Teach those who are wealthy in this life not to pride themselves, or fix their hopes, on so uncertain a thing as wealth, but on God, who gives us a wealth of enjoyment on every side. (aiōn )
who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and the grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (aiōnios )
It was God who saved us, and from him we received our solemn call – not as a reward for anything that we had done, but in fulfilment of his own loving purpose. For that love was extended to us, through Christ Jesus, before time began, (aiōnios )
For this cause I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with everlasting glory. (aiōnios )
and that is why I submit to anything for the sake of God’s people: so that they also may obtain the salvation which comes from union with Christ Jesus, and imperishable glory. (aiōnios )
For Demas forsook me, because he loved the present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn )
for Demas, in his love for the world, has deserted me. He has gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn )
The Lord will deliver me from every evil deed, and preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
The Lord will rescue me from all evil, and bring me safe into his Heavenly kingdom. All glory to him for ever and ever! Amen. (aiōn )
in hope of everlasting life, which God, who cannot lie, promised from the most ancient times, (aiōnios )
– and is based on the hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began, (aiōnios )
teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world; (aiōn )
leading us to renounce ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives here in this present age, (aiōn )
that having been accepted as righteous by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of everlasting life. (aiōnios )
so that, having been put right with God through his grace, we become heirs to the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios )
For perhaps he was separated from thee for a season to this end, that thou shouldst receive him back as thine for ever; (aiōnios )
It may be that he was separated from you for an hour, for this reason, so that you might have him back for ever, (aiōnios )
hath at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds, (aiōn )
has in these latter days spoken to us by the Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. (aiōn )
but of the Son: “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; and the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of righteousness. (aiōn )
while of the Son he said – “God is your throne for ever and ever; the sceptre of his kingdom is the sceptre of Justice; (aiōn )
as also he saith in another place, “Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
and on another occasion also – “You are a priest for all time of the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
and being perfected became the author of everlasting salvation to all who obey him, (aiōnios )
and, being made perfect, he became to all those who obey him the source of eternal salvation, (aiōnios )
of the doctrine of baptisms, and of the laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of everlasting judgment. (aiōnios )
teaching concerning baptisms and the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead and a final judgment. (aiōnios )
and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, (aiōn )
and learned to appreciate the beauty of the divine message, and the new powers of the coming age – (aiōn )
where as forerunner for us Jesus entered, having become a high-priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
where Jesus, our forerunner, has entered on our behalf, after being made for all time a high priest of the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
For it is testified of him, “Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
for that is the meaning of the declaration – “You are for all time a priest of the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn )
—for they indeed have been made priests without an oath; but he with an oath by him who said to him, “The Lord swore, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever,”— (aiōn )
but his appointment was ratified by an oath, when God said to him – “The Lord has sworn, and will not change, ‘You are a priest for all time.’” (aiōn )
but he, because he abideth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood; (aiōn )
but Jesus remains for all time, and therefore the priesthood that he holds will never pass to another. (aiōn )
For the Law maketh men high-priests, who have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was after the Law, maketh the Son, who is perfected for ever. (aiōn )
The Law appoints as high priests men who are weak, but the words of God’s oath, which was later than the Law, name the Son as, for all time, the perfect priest. (aiōn )
not with the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, and obtained for us everlasting redemption. (aiōnios )
Nor was it with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood, that he entered, once and for all, into the sanctuary, and obtained our eternal deliverance. (aiōnios )
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who by his everlasting spirit offered himself without spot to God, purify your conscience from dead works, for the worship of the living God! (aiōnios )
how much more will the blood of the Christ, who, through his eternal Spirit, offered himself up to God, as a victim without blemish, purify our consciences from a lifeless formality, and fit us for the service of the living God! (aiōnios )
And for this cause he is the mediator of a new covenant, that, death having taken place for redemption from the transgressions under the first covenant, they who have been called may receive the everlasting inheritance which was promised. (aiōnios )
And that is why he is the intermediary of a new covenant; in order that, as a death has taken place to effect a deliverance from the offences committed under the first covenant, those who have received the call may obtain the eternal inheritance promised to them. (aiōnios )
for then must he have suffered many times since the foundation of the world; but now once in the end of the world he hath appeared, to put away sin by means of his sacrifice. (aiōn )
for then Christ would have had to undergo death many times since the creation of the world. But now, once and for all, at the close of the age, he has appeared, in order to abolish sin by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn )
Through faith we perceive that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that that which is seen hath not been made out of things which appear. (aiōn )
Faith enables us to perceive that the universe was created at the bidding of God – so that we know that what we see was not made out of visible things. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ is yesterday and to-day the same, and for ever. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today – yes, and for ever! (aiōn )
Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of an everlasting covenant, even our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios )
May God, the source of all peace, who brought back from the dead him who, “by virtue of the blood that rendered valid the unchangeable covenant, is the great shepherd of God’s Sheep,” Jesus, our Lord – (aiōnios )
make you perfect in every good work, to do his will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
may God make you perfect in everything that is good, so that you may be able to do his will. May he bring out in us all that is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be all glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity! The tongue among our members is that which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of life, and is itself set on fire by hell. (Geenna )
And the tongue is like a spark. It is a world of unrighteousness among the parts of our body. It contaminates the whole body; it sets the whole course of our existence on fire, and is itself set on fire by the flames of Gehenna. (Geenna )
being born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth. (aiōn )
since your new life has come, not from perishable, but imperishable, seed, through the message of the Everliving God. (aiōn )
but the word of the Lord abideth for ever;” and this is the word which was preached to you. (aiōn )
but the teaching of the Lord remains for ever.” And that is the teaching of the good news which has been told to you. (aiōn )
If any one speak, let him speak as uttering the oracles of God; if any minister, let him do it as from the ability which God giveth; that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
When anyone speaks, they should speak as one who is delivering the oracles of God. When anyone is endeavouring to serve others, they should do so in reliance on the strength which God supplies; so that in everything God may be honoured through Jesus Christ – to whom be ascribed all honour and might for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
But the God of all grace, who called you to his everlasting glory in Christ Jesus, will, after ye have suffered a while, himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. (aiōnios )
God, from whom all help comes, and who called you, by your union with Christ, into his eternal glory, will, when you have suffered for a little while, himself perfect, establish, strengthen you. (aiōnios )
To him be the dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
To him be ascribed dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
For in this way the entrance will be richly furnished you into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
For in this way you will be given a triumphant admission into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
For if God spared not angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them over to chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; (Tartaroō )
Remember, God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them down to Tartarus, and consigned them to caverns of darkness, to be kept under guard for judgment. (Tartaroō )
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, both now and for ever. (aiōn )
and advance in the love and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. All glory be to him now and for ever. (aiōn )
—and the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and announce to you the everlasting life, which was with the Father, and was manifested to us, — (aiōnios )
That life was made visible, and we have seen it. We bear our testimony to it, and tell you of that eternal life which was with the Father and was made visible to us. (aiōnios )
And the world is passing away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (aiōn )
And the world, and all that it gratifies, is passing away, but they who do God’s will remain for ever. (aiōn )
And this is the promise which he himself promised us, even the life everlasting. (aiōnios )
And this is what he himself promised us – eternal life! (aiōnios )
Whoever hateth his brother is a murderer; and ye know that no murderer hath everlasting life abiding in him. (aiōnios )
The person who hates another is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life dwelling within them. (aiōnios )
And this is the witness, that God gave to us everlasting life, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios )
And this is that testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios )
These things have I written to you, that ye may know that ye who believe in the name of the Son of God have everlasting life. (aiōnios )
I have written these things to you who believe in the name of God’s Son, so that you may know that you have eternal life. (aiōnios )
And we know that the Son of God hath come, and hath given us understanding, that we may know the True One; and we are in the True One, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and everlasting life. (aiōnios )
We also know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know the true God – and we are in him who is true, by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios )
for the sake of the truth which abideth in us, and will be with us for ever. (aiōn )
We love you for the sake of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever. (aiōn )
and the angels which kept not their principality, but left their own dwelling-place, he hath kept in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day; (aïdios )
and that even those angels, who did not keep to their appointed spheres, but left their proper homes, have been kept by him for the judgment of the great day in everlasting chains and black darkness. (aïdios )
even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, in like manner with them giving themselves over to fornication, and going away after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of everlasting fire. (aiōnios )
Like Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns near them, which gave themselves up to fornication, and fell into unnatural vice, these angels now stand out as a warning, undergoing, as they are, punishment in eternal fire. (aiōnios )
raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn )
they are wild sea waves, foaming with their own shame; they are “wandering stars,” for which the blackest darkness has been reserved for ever. (aiōn )
keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios )
and keep within the love of God, while waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, to bring you to eternal life. (aiōnios )
to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, is glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
to the one God, our Saviour, be ascribed, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, glory, majesty, power, and dominion, as it was before time began, is now, and will be for all time to come. Amen. (aiōn )
and made us a kingdom, priests to God his Father, to him be the glory and the dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
and he made us a kingdom of priests in the service of God, his Father! – to him be ascribed glory and dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
and he that liveth; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore; and I have the keys of death and the underworld. (aiōn , Hadēs )
the Everliving. I died, and I am alive for ever and ever. And I hold the keys of death and of Hades. (aiōn , Hadēs )
And when the living creatures give glory, and honor, and thanksgiving to him that sitteth on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, (aiōn )
And, whenever these creatures give praise and honour and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, to him who lives for ever and ever, (aiōn )
