1 [For the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm. A song.] May God be merciful to us, bless us, and cause his face to shine on us. (Selah)
To the Chief Musician. With stringed Instruments. A Melody, a Song. God, be favorable to us and bless us, Cause his face to shine upon us. (Selah)
2 That your way may be known on earth, and your salvation among all nations,
That thy way may be known throughout the earth, Throughout all nations, thy saving help!
3 let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you.
Peoples will praise thee, O God, Peoples will, all of them, praise thee,
4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you will judge the world in righteousness. You will judge the peoples with equity, and guide the nations on earth.
Races of men, will be glad and shout for joy, Because thou wilt judge peoples with equity, And, races of men throughout the earth, thou wilt lead. (Selah)
5 Let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you.
Peoples will praise thee, O God, —Peoples will, all of them, praise thee.
6 The land has yielded its produce. May God, our God, bless us.
Earth, will have given her increase, God, our own God, will bless us:
7 May God bless us. Every part of the earth shall fear him.
God, will bless us, That all the ends of the earth, may revere him.
