Matthew 15
1 Then the Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,
ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು,
2 "Why do your disciples disobey the Tradition of the Elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread."
“ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಮೀರುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಅವರು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?” ಎಂದರು.
3 And he answered them, "Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಮೀರುತ್ತೀರಿ?
4 For God said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'
‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕು,’ ಎಂದೂ ‘ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣದಂಡನೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು,’ ಎಂದು ದೇವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 But you say, 'Whoever may tell his father or his mother, "Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,"
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು, ಯಾರಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತಾಯಿಗೆ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನ್ನು, ‘ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ,
6 he is not to honor his father or his mother.' You have made the word of God void because of your tradition.
‘ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಥಕಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.
7 You hypocrites. Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
ಕಪಟಿಗಳೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ:
8 'These people honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
“‘ಈ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದೆ.
9 And in vain do they worship me, teaching instructions that are the commandments of humans.'"
ಅವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ.’”
10 He summoned the crowd, and said to them, "Hear, and understand.
ಯೇಸು ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಕೇಳಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
11 That which enters into the mouth does not defile the person; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the person."
ಬಾಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಂಥದ್ದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಬಾಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವಂಥದ್ದೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
12 Then the disciples came, and said to him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?"
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಬಂದು, “ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತೇ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
13 But he answered, "Every plant which my heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಪರಲೋಕದ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನೆಡದೆ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಗಿಡವು ಬೇರುಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಲಾಗುವುದು.
14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit."
ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿರಿ, ಅವರು ಕುರುಡರಿಗೆ ದಾರಿತೋರಿಸುವ ಕುರುಡರು. ಕುರುಡನು ಕುರುಡನಿಗೆ ದಾರಿತೋರಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಹಳ್ಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
15 And answering, Peter said to him, "Explain this parable to us."
ಪೇತ್ರನು, “ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸು,” ಎಂದನು.
16 So he said, "Do you also still not understand?
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು, “ನೀವು ಸಹ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಾ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿ,
17 Do you not understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body?
“ಬಾಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ವಿಸರ್ಜಿತವಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the person.
ಆದರೆ ಬಾಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೊರಡುವಂಥವು ಹೃದಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ.
19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಹೃದಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳು, ಕೊಲೆ, ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ, ಅನೈತಿಕತೆ, ಕಳ್ಳತನ, ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ, ದೂರು ಇವು ಹೊರ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ.
20 These are the things which defile the person; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the person."
ಇವುಗಳೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಕೈತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಊಟಮಾಡುವುದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದರು.
21 Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಟೈರ್ ಸೀದೋನ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.
22 And look, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and started shouting, saying, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David. My daughter is severely demonized."
ಆಗ, ಕಾನಾನ್ಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೊಬ್ಬಳು ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ದಾವೀದನ ಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು. ನನ್ನ ಮಗಳು ದೆವ್ವದ ಕಾಟದಿಂದ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಟಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ,” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡಳು.
23 But he did not answer her a word. His disciples came and pleaded with him, saying, "Send her away, for she keeps shouting at us."
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಆಕೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿ ಬಂದು, “ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡು, ಆಕೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಾಳೆ” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.
24 But he answered, "I was not sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
ಯೇಸು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
25 But she came and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, help me."
ಆಕೆಯು ಬಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ, “ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು!” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಳು.
26 But he answered, "It is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು, “ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಿನ್ನುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನಾಯಿಮರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
27 But she said, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
ಆಗ ಆಕೆಯು, “ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ಅದು ನಿಜವೇ, ಆದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನರ ಮೇಜಿನಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಯಿಮರಿಗಳು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ,” ಎಂದಳು.
28 Then Jesus answered her, "Woman, great is your faith. Be it done to you even as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that hour.
ಯೇಸು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ, “ಅಮ್ಮಾ ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ದೊಡ್ಡದು! ನೀನು ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟಂತೆಯೇ ನಿನಗಾಗಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆಕೆಯ ಮಗಳು ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಹೊಂದಿದಳು.
29 Jesus departed there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there.
ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸರೋವರದ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
30 Large crowds came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, crippled, and many others, and they put them down at his feet; and he healed them.
ಆಗ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು ಕುಂಟರನ್ನು, ಕುರುಡರನ್ನು, ಮೂಕರನ್ನು, ಊನವಾದವರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಬೇರೆ ಅನೇಕ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪಾದದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
31 So the crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, crippled healthy, lame walking, and blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.
ಮೂಕರು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ ಊನವಾದವರು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ ಕುಂಟರು ನಡೆದಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ ಕುರುಡರು ಕಾಣುವುದನ್ನೂ ಜನಸಮೂಹದವರು ಕಂಡು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು.
32 Jesus summoned the disciples and said, "I have compassion on the crowd, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way."
ಯೇಸು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು, “ನಾನು ಈ ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕನಿಕರಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಇವರು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಬಳಲಿ ಹೋಗುವರು. ಇವರನ್ನು ಉಪವಾಸವಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದರು.
33 Then the disciples said to him, "Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a crowd?"
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು, “ಇಂಥಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಈ ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕೀತು?” ಎಂದರು.
34 Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" They said, "Seven, and a few small fish."
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಎಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿವೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಶಿಷ್ಯರು, “ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವು ಸಣ್ಣ ಮೀನುಗಳಿವೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
35 He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground;
ಯೇಸು ಜನಸಮೂಹವು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
36 and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the crowds.
ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಸು ಆ ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮೀನುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಜನಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
37 They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.
ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು. ಅನಂತರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮಿಕ್ಕ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಏಳು ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದವು.
38 Those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
ಊಟಮಾಡಿದವರು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಗಂಡಸರಿದ್ದರು.
39 Then he sent away the crowds, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magadan.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಮಗದಾನ್ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
