1 Corinthians 1
1 Paul, called to be an emissary of Messiah Yeshua by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
Pavel, povolaný apoštol Ježíše Krista, skrze vůli Boží, a bratr Sostenes,
2 to the congregation of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Messiah Yeshua, called to be kadoshim, with all who call on the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah in every place, both theirs and ours:
Církvi Boží, kteráž jest v Korintu, posvěceným v Kristu Ježíši, povolaným svatým, spolu se všechněmi, kteříž vzývají jméno Pána našeho Jezukrista na všelikém místě, i jejich i našem:
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
Milost vám a pokoj od Boha Otce našeho a Pána Jezukrista.
4 I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Messiah Yeshua;
Děkuji Bohu svému vždycky z vás pro tu milost Boží, kteráž dána jest vám v Kristu Ježíši,
5 that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;
Že všemi věcmi obohaceni jste v něm, každým slovem i všelikým uměním,
6 even as the testimony of Messiah was confirmed in you:
Jakož svědectví Kristovo upevněno jest mezi vámi,
7 so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for our Lord Yeshua the Messiah to be revealed;
Tak že, nemáte žádného nedostatku v žádném daru, očekávajíce zjevení Pána našeho Jezukrista,
8 who will also strengthen you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
Kterýž i utvrdí vás až do konce bez ouhony ke dni Pána našeho Jezukrista.
9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord.
Věrnýť jest Bůh, skrze něhož povoláni jste k účastenství Syna jeho Jezukrista, Pána našeho.
10 Now I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that all of you be in agreement, so that there may be no divisions among you, and to be united by the same mind and conviction.
Prosímť pak vás, bratří, skrze jméno Pána našeho Jezukrista, abyste jednostejně mluvili všickni, a aby nebylo mezi vámi roztržek, ale buďte spojeni jednostejnou myslí, a jednostejným smyslem.
11 For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers, by those who are from Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you.
Nebo oznámeno jest mi o vás, bratří moji, od domácích Chloe, že by mezi vámi byly různice.
12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Kefa," and, "I follow Messiah."
Míním pak toto, že jeden každý z vás říká: Já jsem Pavlův, já Apollův, já Petrův, já pak Kristův.
13 Is Messiah divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you immersed into the name of Paul?
Rozdělen-liž jest Kristus? Zdali Pavel ukřižován jest za vás? aneb zdali jste ve jménu Pavlovu pokřtěni byli?
14 I thank God that I immersed none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,
Děkuji Bohu, že jsem žádného z vás nekřtil, než Krispa a Gáia,
15 so that no one should say that you had been immersed into my own name.
Aby někdo neřekl, že jsem ve jménu svém křtil.
16 (Now I also immersed the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not know whether I immersed any other.)
Křtilť jsem také i Štěpánovu čeled. Více nevím, abych koho jiného křtil.
17 For Messiah sent me not to immerse, but to preach the Good News—not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of the Messiah would not be made void.
Nebo neposlal mne Kristus křtíti, ale evangelium kázati, ne v moudrosti řeči, aby nebyl vyprázdněn kříž Kristův.
18 For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Nebo slovo kříže těm, kteříž hynou, bláznovstvím jest, ale nám, kteříž spasení dosahujeme, moc Boží jest.
19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will nullify."
Nebo psáno jest: Zahladím moudrost moudrých, a opatrnost opatrných zavrhu.
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn g165)
Kde jest moudrý? A kde učený? A kde chytrák tohoto světa? Zdaliž Bůh neobrátil moudrosti tohoto světa v bláznovství? (aiōn g165)
21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
Nebo když v moudrosti Boží svět nepoznal skrze moudrost Boha, zalíbilo se Bohu skrze bláznové kázaní spasiti věřící,
22 For Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek after wisdom,
Poněvadž i Židé zázraků žádají, i Řekové hledají moudrosti.
23 but we preach Messiah crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to the non-Jews,
Myť pak kážeme Krista ukřižovaného, Židům zajisté pohoršení, a Řekům bláznovství,
24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Messiah is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Ale povolaným i Židům i Řekům Krista, Boží moc a Boží moudrost.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than man's, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's.
Nebo to bláznovství Boží jest moudřejší nežli lidé, a mdloba Boží jest silnější než lidé.
26 For consider your calling, brothers, that not many were wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth.
Vidíte zajisté povolání své, bratří, že nemnozí moudří podlé těla, nemnozí mocní, nemnozí urození.
27 But God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise. And God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong.
Ale což bláznivého jest u světa, to vyvolil Bůh, aby zahanbil moudré, a to, což jest u světa mdlé, vyvolil Bůh, aby zahanbil silné.
28 And God chose the lowly of the world, and the despised, what is considered to be nothing, to bring to nothing what is considered to be something,
A neurozené u světa a za nic položené vyvolil Bůh, anobrž kteréž nejsou, aby ty věci, kteréž jsou, zahladil,
29 that no flesh might boast before God.
Proto aby se nechlubilo před oblíčejem jeho žádné tělo.
30 And because of him you are in Messiah Yeshua, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,
Vy pak jste z něho v Kristu Ježíši, kterýž učiněn jest nám moudrost od Boha, i spravedlnost, i posvěcení, i vykoupení,
31 so that, as it is written, "Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord."
Aby, jakož jest napsáno, kdo se chlubí, v Pánu se chlubil.
