1 Corinthians 5
1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even among the nations, that one has his father's wife.
Celo se sliši, da je kurbarstvo med vami, in to tako kurbarstvo, kakoršno se tudi med pogani ne imenuje, da ima nekdo ženo svojega očeta.
2 You are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
In vi ste napihneni in niste rajši žalovali, da bi se odpravil iz sredi vas tisti, kteri je tako delo storil?
3 For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
Ker jaz kakor nenazoči s telesom ali nazoči z duhom odsodil sem uže kakor nazoči, da se tisti, kteri je tako napravil,
4 In the name of our Lord Yeshua, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Yeshua,
V imenu Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa, kedar se zberete vi in moj duh, z močjo: Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa,
5 are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
Izročí satanu na pogubo mesa, da se duh zveliča na dan Gospoda Jezusa.
6 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little hametz leavens the whole lump?
Ni dobra hvala vaša. Jeli ne veste, da malo kvasa vse testo skisa?
7 Purge out the old hametz, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed for us.
Izčistite torej stari kvas, da boste novo testo, kakor ste presni; kajti tudi naša pasha se je za nas zaklala, Kristus.
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the hametz of malice and wickedness, but with the matzah of sincerity and truth.
Za to praznujmo ne v starem kvasu hudobe in napačnosti, nego v presnini čistote in resnice.
9 I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
Pisal sem vam v listu, da se ne mešate s kurbarji.
10 yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.
In ne sploh s kurbarji tega sveta, ali lakomci, ali roparji, ali malikovalci; kajti drugače bi vam bilo iz tega sveta iti.
11 But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Do not even eat with such a person.
Sedaj sem vam pa pisal, da se ne mešate, če je ta, kteri se brat imenuje, kurbar, ali lakomec, ali malikovalec, ali psovač, ali pijanec, ali ropar. S takim tudi da ne jeste.
12 For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Do you not judge those who are within?
Kajti kaj je meni mari, da tudi sodim tiste, kteri so zunej? Ne sodite li vi tistih, kteri so notri?
13 But those who are outside, God judges. "Put away the wicked person from among yourselves."
Kteri so pa zunej, tiste sodi Bog. Odpravite hudobnika izmed sebe.
