Psalms 135

1 Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD. Praise him, you servants of the LORD,

૧યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો. યહોવાહના નામની સ્તુતિ કરો. હે યહોવાહના સેવકો, તમે તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

2 you who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of our God's house.

૨યહોવાહના ઘરમાં, આપણા ઈશ્વરના ઘરના, આંગણાંમાં ઊભા રહેનારા તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

3 Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good. Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant.

૩યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો, કારણ કે તે ઉત્તમ છે; તેમના નામની સ્તુતિ કરો, કારણ કે તેમ કરવું આનંદદાયક છે.

4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob for himself; Israel for his own possession.

૪કેમ કે યહોવાહે પોતાને માટે યાકૂબને પસંદ કર્યો છે, ઇઝરાયલ ખાસ તેમની સંપત્તિ છે.

5 For I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is above all gods.

૫હું જાણું છું કે યહોવાહ મહાન છે, આપણા પ્રભુ સર્વ દેવો કરતાં તે મહાન છે.

6 Whatever the LORD pleased, that he has done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

૬આકાશમાં તથા પૃથ્વી પર, સમુદ્રોમાં અને સર્વ મહાસાગરના ઊંડાણોમાં યહોવાહને જે જે સારું લાગ્યું, તે સર્વ તેમણે કર્યું છે.

7 who causes the clouds to rise from the farthest parts of the earth; who makes lightnings with the rain; who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries;

૭તે પાણીની વરાળને ઊંચે લઈ જઈ તેનાં વાદળાં ચઢાવે છે, તે વીજળી મોકલી વરસાદને વરસાવે છે અને પોતાના ખજાનામાંથી તે વાયુને બહાર કાઢે છે.

8 Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and animal;

૮મિસરમાં તેમણે માણસોના તથા પશુઓના પ્રથમજનિતોનો નાશ કર્યો.

9 Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants;

૯તેમણે ફારુન અને તેના સેવકોની વિરુદ્ધ પોતાના ચિહ્નો તથા ચમત્કારો સમગ્ર મિસરમાં મોકલ્યાં.

10 who struck many nations, and killed mighty kings,

૧૦તેમણે ઘણી પ્રજાઓ પર હુમલો કર્યો અને પરાક્રમી રાજાઓને મારી નાખ્યા,

11 Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,

૧૧અમોરીઓના રાજા સીહોનને અને બાશાનના રાજા ઓગને અને કનાનના સર્વ રાજ્યોને તેમણે માર્યાં.

12 and gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Israel, his people.

૧૨તેમના દેશને તેમણે પોતાના લોક ઇઝરાયલને વારસામાં આપ્યો.

13 Your name, LORD, endures forever; your renown, LORD, throughout all generations.

૧૩હે યહોવાહ, તમારું નામ અનંતકાળ ટકનાર છે, હે યહોવાહ, તમારું સ્મરણ પેઢી દરપેઢી ટકી રહેનાર છે.

14 For the LORD will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants.

૧૪કેમ કે યહોવાહ પોતાના લોકોનો ન્યાય કરશે અને તે પોતાના સેવકો પ્રત્યે દયાળુ થશે.

15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

૧૫વિદેશીઓની મૂર્તિઓ તો સોનાચાંદીની છે, તેઓ માણસોના હાથથી જ બનેલી છે.

16 They have mouths, but they can't speak. They have eyes, but they can't see.

૧૬તે મૂર્તિઓને મુખ છે, પણ તેઓ બોલતી નથી; તેઓને આંખો છે, પણ તેઓ જોઈ શકતી નથી.

17 They have ears, but they can't hear; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

૧૭તેઓને કાન છે, પણ તેઓ સાંભળતી નથી, તેઓનાં મુખમાં શ્વાસ નથી.

18 Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.

૧૮જેઓ તેને બનાવે છે તેઓ પણ તેના જેવા જ થશે, જેઓ તેમના પર ભરોસો રાખે છે તેઓ પણ તેના જેવા જ થશે.

19 House of Israel, praise the LORD. House of Aaron, praise the LORD.

૧૯હે ઇઝરાયલના વંશજો, યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો; હે હારુનના વંશજો, યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.

20 House of Levi, praise the LORD. You who fear the LORD, praise the LORD.

૨૦હે લેવીના વંશજો, યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો; હે યહોવાહના ભક્તો, યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.

21 Blessed be the LORD from Zion, Who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.

૨૧સિયોનમાં યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો, જે યરુશાલેમમાં રહે છે. તે યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.
