Ezra 2
1 Now these are the people of the province, who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, everyone to his city;
૧બાબિલનો રાજા નબૂખાદનેસ્સાર યહૂદિયાના જે લોકોને બંદીવાન કરીને બાબિલ લઈ ગયો હતો, તેઓમાંના રાજાની ગુલામીમાંથી જે મુક્ત થઈને યરુશાલેમમાં તથા યહૂદિયામાં પોતપોતાનાં નગરમાં પાછા આવ્યા તે માણસોનાં નામ આ પ્રમાણે છે:
2 who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
૨ઝરુબ્બાબેલ, યેશૂઆ, નહેમ્યા, સરાયા, રએલાયા, મોર્દખાય, બિલ્શાન, મિસ્પાર, બિગ્વાય, રહૂમ, તથા બાનાહ. ઇઝરાયલી લોકોની સંખ્યા આ પ્રમાણે છે.
3 The descendants of Parosh, two thousand one hundred seventy-two.
૩પારોશના વંશજો: બે હજાર એકસો બોતેર.
4 The descendants of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two.
૪શફાટયાના વંશજો: ત્રણસો બોતેર.
5 The descendants of Arah, seven hundred seventy-five.
૫આરાહના વંશજો: સાતસો પંચોતેર.
6 The descendants of Pahath-Moab, of the descendants of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred twelve.
૬યેશૂઆ તથા યોઆબથી પાહાથ-મોઆબના વંશજો: બે હજાર આઠસો બાર.
7 The descendants of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.
૭એલામના વંશજો: એક હજાર બસો ચોપન.
8 The descendants of Zattu, nine hundred forty-five.
૮ઝાત્તૂના વંશજો: નવસો પિસ્તાળીસ.
9 The descendants of Zaccai, seven hundred sixty.
૯ઝાકકાયના વંશજો: સાતસો સાઠ.
10 The descendants of Bani, six hundred forty-two.
૧૦બાનીના વંશજો: છસો બેતાળીસ.
11 The descendants of Bebai, six hundred twenty-three.
૧૧બેબાયના વંશજો: છસો ત્રેવીસ.
12 The descendants of Azgad, one thousand two hundred twenty-two.
૧૨આઝગાદના વંશજો: એક હજાર બસો બાવીસ.
13 The descendants of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-six.
૧૩અદોનિકામના વંશજો: છસો છાસઠ.
14 The descendants of Bigvai, two thousand fifty-six.
૧૪બિગ્વાયના વંશજો: બે હજાર છપ્પન.
15 The descendants of Adin, four hundred fifty-four.
૧૫આદીનના વંશજો: ચારસો ચોપન.
16 The descendants of Ater, of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
૧૬આટેરમાંના, હિઝકિયાના વંશજો: અઠ્ઠાણું.
17 The descendants of Bezai, three hundred twenty-three.
૧૭બેસાયના વંશજો: ત્રણસો ત્રેવીસ.
18 The descendants of Jorah, one hundred twelve.
૧૮યોરાના વંશજો: એકસો બાર.

૨૫કિર્યાથ-યારીમ, કફીરા અને બેરોથના લોકો: સાતસો તેંતાળીસ.
26 The descendants of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.
૨૬રામા અને ગેબાના લોકો: છસો એકવીસ.
27 The men of Michmas, one hundred twenty-two.

૩૪યરીખોના લોકો: ત્રણસો પિસ્તાળીસ.
35 The descendants of Senaah, three thousand six hundred thirty.
૩૫સનાઆહના લોકો: ત્રણ હજાર છસો ત્રીસ.
36 The priests: the descendants of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three.
૩૬યાજકોનાં નામ આ પ્રમાણે છે: યેશૂઆના કુટુંબના, યદાયાના વંશજો: નવસો તોંતેર.
37 The descendants of Immer, one thousand fifty-two.
૩૭ઈમ્મેરના વંશજો: એક હજાર બાવન.
38 The descendants of Pashhur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven.
૩૮પાશહૂરના વંશજો: એક હજાર બસો સુડતાળીસ.
39 The descendants of Harim, one thousand seventeen.
૩૯હારીમના વંશજો: એક હજાર સત્તર.
40 The Levites: the descendants of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the descendants of Hodaviah, seventy-four.
૪૦લેવીઓના નામ આ પ્રમાણે છે: હોદાવ્યાના અને યેશૂઆના તથા કાદમીએલના વંશજો: ચુંમોતેર.
41 The singers: the descendants of Asaph, one hundred twenty-eight.
૪૧ભક્તિસ્થાનના ગાનારાઓ આ પ્રમાણે છે: આસાફના વંશજો એકસો અઠ્ઠાવીસ.
42 The descendants of the gatekeepers: the descendants of Shallum, the descendants of Ater, the descendants of Talmon, the descendants of Akkub, the descendants of Hatita, the descendants of Shobai, in all one hundred thirty-nine.
૪૨ભક્તિસ્થાનના દ્વારપાળો: શાલ્લુમ, આટેર, ટાલ્મોન, આક્કુબ, હટીટા અને શોબાયના વંશજો: કુલ એકસો ઓગણચાળીસ.
43 The Nethinim: the descendants of Ziha, the descendants of Hasupha, the descendants of Tabbaoth,
૪૩ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સેવા કરવા માટે નિયુક્ત કરાયેલા: સીહા, હસૂફા, ટાબ્બાઓથ,
44 the descendants of Keros, the descendants of Siaha, the descendants of Padon,
૪૪કેરોસ, સીહા, પાદોન,
45 the descendants of Lebanah, the descendants of Hagabah, the descendants of Akkub,
૪૫લબાના, હગાબા, આક્કુબ,
46 the descendants of Hagab, the descendants of Shalmai, the descendants of Hanan,
૪૬હાગાબા, શામ્લાય, અને હાનાનના વંશજો.
47 the descendants of Giddel, the descendants of Gahar, the descendants of Reaiah,
૪૭ગિદ્દેલ, ગહાર, રાયા,
48 the descendants of Rezin, the descendants of Nekoda, the descendants of Gazzam,
૪૮રસીન, નકોદા, ગાઝ્ઝામ,
49 the descendants of Uzza, the descendants of Paseah, the descendants of Besai,
૪૯ઉઝઝા, પાસેઆ, બેસાઈ,
50 the descendants of Asnah, the descendants of Meunim, the descendants of Nephusim,
૫૦આસના, મેઉનીમ, નફીસીમના વંશજો.
51 the descendants of Bakbuk, the descendants of Hakupha, the descendants of Harhur,
૫૧બાકબુક, હાકૂફા અને હાર્હૂર,
52 the descendants of Bazluth, the descendants of Mehida, the descendants of Harsha,
૫૨બાસ્લુથ, મહિદા, હાર્શા,
53 the descendants of Barkos, the descendants of Sisera, the descendants of Temah,
૫૩બાર્કોસ, સીસરા, તેમા,
54 the descendants of Neziah, the descendants of Hatipha.
૫૪નસીઆ અને હટીફાના વંશજો.
55 The descendants of Solomon's servants: the descendants of Sotai, the descendants of Hassophereth, the descendants of Peruda,
૫૫સુલેમાનના સેવકોના વંશજો: સોટાય, હાસ્સોફેદેથ, પરૂદા,
56 the descendants of Jaalah, the descendants of Darkon, the descendants of Giddel,
૫૬યાઅલાહ, દાર્કોન અને ગિદ્દેલ,
57 the descendants of Shephatiah, the descendants of Hattil, the descendants of Pokereth Hazzebaim, the descendants of Amon.
૫૭શફાટયા, હાટ્ટીલ, પોખરેથ-હાસ્સબાઈમ અને આમીના વંશજો.
58 All the Nethinim, and the descendants of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety-two.
૫૮ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સેવા કરવા માટે નિયુક્ત કરાયેલા અને સુલેમાનના સેવકોના વંશજો: કુલ ત્રણસો બાણું હતા.
59 These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not show whether their fathers' house, and their descent, were from Israel:
૫૯તેલ-મેલાહ, તેલ હાર્શા, કરુબ, અદાન તથા ઈમ્મેરમાંથી પાછા આવેલા જેઓ ઇઝરાયલીઓમાંના પોતાના પૂર્વજોની વંશાવળી સાબિત કરી શક્યા નહિ, તેઓનાં નામ આ પ્રમાણે છે:
60 the descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, the descendants of Nekoda, six hundred fifty-two.
૬૦દલાયા, ટોબિયા, અને નકોદાના વંશજો: છસો બાવન,
61 Of the descendants of the priests: the descendants of Habaiah, the descendants of Hakkoz, the descendants of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
૬૧યાજકોના વંશજોમાંના: હબાયાના વંશજો, હાક્કોસના વંશજો અને બાર્ઝિલ્લાય કે જેણે ગિલ્યાદી બાર્ઝિલ્લાયની દીકરીઓમાંથી એકની સાથે લગ્ન કર્યું હતું અને તેથી તેનું નામ બાર્ઝિલ્લાય પડ્યું હતું તેના વંશજો.
62 These sought their place among those who were registered by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
૬૨તેઓએ સર્વ વંશાવળીમાં તપાસ કરી પણ તેઓનાં નામ મળ્યાં નહિ. તેઓએ યાજકપદપણાને ભ્રષ્ટ કર્યું તેથી
63 The governor said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
૬૩સૂબાએ તેઓને કહ્યું કે, ઉરીમ અને તુમ્મીમ દ્વારા મંજુર કરવામાં ન આવે ત્યાં સુધી પરમપવિત્ર અર્પણોમાંથી તેઓએ ખાવું નહિ.
64 The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
૬૪સમગ્ર પ્રજાની કુલ સંખ્યા બેતાળીસ હજાર ત્રણસો સાઠ હતી.
65 besides their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
૬૫તે ઉપરાંત તેઓનાં દાસો તથા દાસીઓ સાત હજાર ત્રણસો સાડત્રીસ હતા અને તેઓમાં ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં ગાયક સ્ત્રી પુરુષોની સંખ્યા બસો હતી.
66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred forty-five;
૬૬તેઓનાં જાનવરોમાં, સાતસો છત્રીસ ઘોડા, બસો પિસ્તાળીસ ખચ્ચરો,
67 their camels, four hundred thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
૬૭ચારસો પાંત્રીસ ઊંટો અને છ હજાર સાતસો વીસ ગધેડાં હતાં.
68 Some of the heads of ancestral houses, when they came to the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for God's house to set it up in its place:
૬૮જયારે તેઓ યરુશાલેમમાં, યહોવાહના ઘરમાં ગયા, ત્યારે પિતૃઓના કુટુંબોમાંથી કેટલાક વડીલોએ, સભાસ્થાનને તેની જગ્યાએ પુનઃસ્થાપિત કરવા માટે તેઓએ રાજીખુશીથી અર્પણો આપ્યાં.
69 they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.
૬૯તેઓએ પોતાની શક્તિ પ્રમાણે બાંધકામને માટે એકસઠ હજાર દારીક સોનું, પાંચ હજાર માનેહ ચાંદી અને યાજકના સો ગણવેશ આપ્યાં.
70 So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, lived in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
૭૦યાજકો, લેવીઓ, બીજા કેટલાક લોકો, ગાનારાઓ, દ્વારપાળો તથા ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સેવા માટે નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવેલા સેવકોએ, તેમના નગરોમાં વસવાટ કર્યો. સર્વ ઇઝરાયલીઓ પોતપોતાનાં નગરોમાં વસ્યા.
