Ezekiel 36
1 "You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, 'You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
E tu, ó filho do homem, profetiza aos montes de Israel, e dize: Montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor.
2 Thus says the LORD: "Because the enemy has said against you, 'Aha.' and, 'The ancient high places are ours in possession'"';
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto diz o inimigo sobre vós: Ah! ah! até as eternas alturas são por nossa herança;
3 therefore prophesy, and say, 'Thus says the LORD: "Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people";
Portanto, profetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto vos assolaram e devoraram em redor, para que vós ficasseis feitos herança do resto das nações, e estais levantados em lábios do paroleiro, e em infâmia do povo,
4 therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: "Thus says the LORD to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;
Portanto, ouvi, ó montes de Israel, a palavra do Senhor Jehovah: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah aos montes e aos outeiros, às correntes e aos vales, aos lugares assolados e solitários, e às cidades desamparadas, que se tornaram em rapina e em escarneio ao resto das nações que lhes estão em redor
5 therefore thus says the LORD: 'Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.'"'
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Certamente no fogo do meu zelo falei contra o resto das nações, e contra todo o Edom, que se apropriaram da minha terra, com alegria de todo o coração, e com menosprezo da alma, para ser lançada fora à rapina
6 "Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, 'Thus says the LORD: "Look, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations:
Portanto, profetiza sobre a terra de Israel, e dize aos montes e aos outeiros, às correntes e aos vales: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que falei no meu zelo e no meu furor, porquanto levastes sobre vós o opróbrio dos gentios.
7 therefore thus says the Lord GOD: 'I have sworn, saying, "Surely the nations that are around you, they shall bear their shame."
Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eu levantei a minha mão, para que os gentios que vos estão em redor levem o seu opróbrio sobre si mesmos.
8 "'"'But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
Porém vós, ó montes de Israel, ainda produzireis o vosso ramo, e dareis o vosso fruto para o meu povo de Israel; porque estão para vir
9 For, look, I am for you, and I will turn into you, and you shall be tilled and sown;
Porque eis que eu estou convosco; e eu me virarei para vós, e sereis lavrados e semeados.
10 and I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built;
E multiplicarei os homens sobre vós, a toda a casa de Israel, a toda ela: e as cidades serão habitadas, e as solidões serão edificadas.
11 and I will multiply on you man and animal; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better to you than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
E multiplicarei homens e bestas sobre vós, e se multiplicarão, e frutificarão: e vos farei habitar como de antes, e o farei melhor que nos vossos princípios; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
12 Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of children.'"
E farei andar sobre vós uns homens; o meu povo de Israel: eles te possuirão, e serás a sua herança, e nunca mais os desfilharás.
13 "'Thus says the LORD: "Because they say to you, 'You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation';
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto vos dizem: Tu és uma terra que devora os homens, e és uma terra que desfilha os seus povos;
14 therefore you shall devour men no more, neither bereave your nation any more," says the LORD;
Por isso tu não devorarás mais os homens, nem desfilharás mais os teus povos, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
15 "neither will I let you hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shall you bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shall you cause your nation to stumble any more," says the LORD.'"
E farei que nunca mais se ouça em ti a afronta dos gentios; nem levarás mais sobre ti o opróbrio das gentes nem mais desfilharás a tua nação, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
16 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
17 "Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
Filho do homem, quando a casa de Israel habitava na sua terra, então a contaminaram com os seus caminhos e com as suas ações: como a imundícia de uma mulher separada, era o seu caminho perante o meu rosto.
18 Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;
Derramei pois o meu furor sobre eles, por causa do sangue que derramaram sobre a terra, e dos seus ídolos, com que a contaminaram.
19 and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
E os espalhei entre as nações, e foram espalhados pelas terras: conforme os seus caminhos, e conforme os seus tratos, os julguei.
20 When they came to the nations, where they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, 'These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.'
E, chegando às nações para onde se foram, profanaram o meu santo nome; porquanto se dizia deles: Estes são o povo do Senhor, e sairam da sua terra.
21 But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, where they went.
Porém os poupei por amor do meu santo nome, o qual a casa de Israel profanou entre as nações para onde foi.
22 "Therefore tell the house of Israel, 'Thus says the LORD: "I do not do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, where you went.
Dize portanto à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Não é por vosso respeito que eu o faço, ó casa de Israel, porém pelo meu santo nome, que profanaste entre as nações para onde vós fostes.
23 I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD when I magnify myself among you before their eyes.
E eu santificarei o meu grande nome, que foi profanado entre as nações, o qual profanastes no meio delas; e as nações saberão que eu sou o Senhor, diz o Senhor Jehovah, quando eu for santificado aos seus olhos
24 For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
E vos tomarei dentre as nações, e vos congregarei de todas as terras, e vos trarei para a vossa terra.
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Então espalharei água pura sobre vós, e ficareis purificados: de todas as vossas imundicias e de todos os vossos ídolos vos purificarei.
26 And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
E vos darei um coração novo, e porei dentro de vós um espírito novo; e tirarei o coração de pedra da vossa carne, e vos darei um coração de carne.
27 I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.
E porei dentro de vós o meu espírito, e farei que andeis nos meus estatutos, e guardeis os meus juízos, e os façais.
28 You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
E habitareis na terra que eu dei a vossos pais, e vós me sereis por povo, e eu vos serei por Senhor.
29 I will save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.
E vos livrarei de todas as vossas imundicias; e chamarei o trigo, e o multiplicarei, e não trarei fome sobre vós.
30 I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
E multiplicarei o fruto das árvores, e a novidade do campo, para que nunca mais recebais o opróbrio da fome entre as nações.
31 Then you shall remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
Então vos lembrareis dos vossos maus caminhos, e dos vossos tratos, que não foram bons; e tereis nojo em vós mesmos das vossas maldades e das vossas abominações.
32 Nor for your sake do I this," says the LORD, "be it known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel."'
Não é por amor de vós que eu faço isto, diz o Senhor Jehovah; notório vos seja: envergonhai-vos, e ficai confusa sobre os vossos caminhos, ó casa de Israel.
33 "Thus says the LORD: 'In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: No dia em que eu vos purificar de todas as vossas maldades, então farei com que sejam habitadas as cidades e sejam edificadas as solidões.
34 The land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.
E a terra assolada se lavrará, em lugar de ser assolada aos olhos de todos os que passavam.
35 They shall say, "This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited."
E dirão: Esta terra assolada ficou como jardim do Éden; e as cidades solitárias, e assoladas, e destruídas, estão fortalecidas e habitadas.
36 Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, the LORD, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.'"
Então saberão as nações, que ficarem de resto em redor de vós, que eu, o Senhor, reedifico as cidades destruídas, e planto o assolado: eu, o Senhor, o falei, e farei.
37 "Thus says the LORD: 'For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Ainda por isso serei requerido da casa de Israel, que lho faça: multiplica-los-ei de homens, como a um rebanho.
38 As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'"
Como o rebanho santificado, como o rebanho de Jerusalém nas suas solenidades, assim as cidades desertas serão cheias de rebanhos de homens; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
