< Acts 15 >

1 Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved."
Oasr kutu mwet tuku liki acn Judea nu Antioch, ac mutawauk in luti mwet lulalfongi uh ac fahk, “Kowos fin tia kosrkosrla oana ke fwackyak in Ma Sap lal Moses, kowos tia ku in moliyukla.”
2 Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul and Barnabas, and some others of them, to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.
Paul ac Barnabas akukuin na upa nu selos kac, ouinge wotla mu Paul, Barnabas ac kutu mwet in Antioch in som nu Jerusalem ac osun yurin mwet sap ac mwet kol lun church we ke sripa se inge.
3 They, being sent on their way by the church, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the non-Jewish people. They caused great joy to all the brothers.
Mwet in church supwalosla, ac ke elos fahsr sasla Phoenicia ac Samaria elos srumun lah mwet pegan elos forla nu sin God. Pweng se inge arulana akenganye mwet lulalfongi nukewa.
4 When they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all things that God had done with them.
Ke elos sun acn Jerusalem, mwet in church we ac mwet sap ac mwet kol lun church elos paingulos, na elos fahkak ma nukewa God El tuh kasrelos in oru.
5 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the Law of Moses."
Tusruktu kutu mwet lulalfongi ma wi u lun mwet Pharisee elos tuyak ac fahk, “Mwet pegan elos enenu na in kosrkosrla, ac kowos in lotelos tuh elos in akos Ma Sap lal Moses.”
6 The apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
Mwet sap ac mwet kol uh elos tukeni nu sie in nunku ke ma se inge.
7 When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, "Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Tukun elos sramsram kac ke pacl na loes, Peter el tuyak ac fahk, “Mwet lili luk, kowos etu na lah God El tuh suleyula inmasrlowos ke pacl na loes somla, tuh nga in fahkak ke Pweng Wo nu sin mwet pegan, tuh elos in ku in lohng ac lulalfongi.
8 God, who knows the heart, testified about them by giving the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.
Ac God, su etu nunak lun mwet nukewa, El akkalemye lah oasr insewowo lal yurin mwet pegan ke El sang Ngun Mutal nu selos, oana ke El tuh ase nu sesr.
9 He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
El tia oru mu oasr ekla inmasrlolos ac kut, a ke sripen elos lulalfongi, El aknasnasyalos liki ma koluk lalos.
10 Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Na inge, efu ku kowos ke srike God ke kowos filiya sie ma toasr nu fin mwet lulalfongi uh, su mwet matu lasr ac kut sifacna tia ku in us?
11 But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they are."
Mo! Kut lulalfongi ac moliyukla ke sripen kulang lun Leum Jesus, oapana elos.”
12 And all the people kept quiet, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the nations through them.
U nufon sac mislana ke Barnabas ac Paul srumun ma usrnguk nukewa ac mwenmen ma God El oru kacltal inmasrlon mwet pegan.
13 After they were silent, James answered, "Brothers, listen to me.
Ke eltal kaskas tari, na James el kasla ac fahk, “Mwet lili luk, kowos porongeyu!
14 Simeon has reported how God first visited the nations, to take out of them a people for his name.
Simon el tufahna aketeya nu sesr luman nunak lun God nu sin mwet pegan uh, ke El eisla kutu selos tuh elos in mwet lal.
15 This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,
Kas lun mwet palu arulana akkeye nunak se inge. Oana ke Ma Simusla uh fahk,
16 'After these things I will return; and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David that has fallen, and I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it,

Pa inge ma Leum El fahk, su akkalemye ma inge in pacl loeloes somla.’” (aiōn g165)
19 "Therefore my judgment is that we do not trouble those from among the non-Jewish people who turn to God,
Na James el sifilpa fahk, “Nunak luk uh pa kut in tia filiya ma toasr nu fin mwet pegan su forla nu sin God.
20 but that we write to them that they abstain from things defiled by idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.

Tuh ke pacl na loeloes, Ma Sap lal Moses uh ritiyuk in iwen lolngok uh ke len Sabbath nukewa, ac kas lal uh lutiyuk in siti nukewa.”
22 Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers.
Na mwet sap ac mwet kol uh, wi pac mwet nukewa in church, elos insesela in sulela kutu sin mwet inmasrlolos, ac supwalosla nu Antioch welul Paul ac Barnabas. Elos sulela mwet luo ma yohk akilenya sin mwet lulalfongi uh: elos pa Judas su pangpang Barsabbas, ac Silas.
23 They wrote these things by their hand: "The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the non-Jewish brothers who are in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.

28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:

30 So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch, and having gathered the congregation together, they delivered the letter.
Mwet utuk kas inge supweyukla, ac elos som nu Antioch, ac elos solani mwet lulalfongi nukewa ac sang leta sac nu selos.
31 When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.
Ke mwet uh riti leta sac, elos arulana engan ke kas in akku ma simla in leta sac.
32 Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words, and strengthened them.
Judas ac Silas, su oaoa in mwet palu, eltal sramsram paht na yurin mwet lulalfongi, ac akpulaikyalos ac akkeyalos.
33 After they had spent some time there, they were sent back with greetings from the brothers to those that had sent them forth.

34 However, Silas decided to remain there.

35 And Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming the word of the Lord, with many others also.

Kutu pacl tok, Paul el fahk nu sel Barnabas, “Kut folokla ac liye mwet lulalfongi wiasr in siti nukewa ma kut fahkak kas lun Leum we, ac liye lah elos fuka in pacl inge.”
37 Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.
Barnabas el lungse usal John Mark welultal,
38 But Paul did not think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and did not go with them to do the work.

39 Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him, and sailed away to Cyprus,

41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
