1 Chronicles 9
1 So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and look, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel: and Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.
૧સર્વ ઇઝરાયલની ગણતરી વંશાવળી પ્રમાણે કરવામાં આવી. ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓના પુસ્તકમાં તેની નોંધ કરવામાં આવેલી છે. યહૂદાને તેના પાપને લીધે કેદી તરીકે બાબિલમાં લઈ જવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
2 Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
૨હવે પોતપોતાનાં વતનોના નગરોમાં પહેલા રહેવા આવ્યા તે તો ઇઝરાયલીઓ, યાજકો, લેવીઓ, તથા ભક્તિસ્થાનોના સેવકો હતા.
3 In Jerusalem lived of the people of Judah, and of the people of Benjamin, and of the people of Ephraim and Manasseh:
૩યહૂદાના, બિન્યામીનના, એફ્રાઇમના તથા મનાશ્શાના વંશજોમાંના જેઓ યરુશાલેમમાં રહેતા હતા તેઓ આ છે.
4 Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the descendants of Perez the son of Judah.
૪યહૂદાના દીકરા પેરેસના વંશજોમાંથી બાનીના દીકરા ઈમ્રીના દીકરા ઓમ્રીના દીકરા આમ્મીહૂદનો દીકરો ઉથાય.
5 Of the Shelanites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
૫શીલોનીઓમાંથી તેનો જયેષ્ઠ દીકરો અસાયા તથા તેના દીકરાઓ.
6 Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers, six hundred ninety.
૬ઝેરાહના વંશજોમાંથી યેઉએલ. તથા કુટુંબીઓ મળીને કુલ છસો નેવું.
7 Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Judah, the son of Hassenuah,
૭બિન્યામીનના વંશજોમાંના હાસ્સેનુઆના દીકરા હોદાવ્યાના દીકરા મશુલ્લામનો દીકરો સાલ્લૂ.
8 and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Mikri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
૮યરોહામનો દીકરો યિબ્નિયા, મિખ્રીના દીકરા ઉઝઝીનો દીકરો એલા, યિબ્નિયાના દીકરા રેઉએલના દીકરા શફાટયાનો દીકરો મશુલ્લામ.
9 and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six. All these men were heads of ancestral houses by their fathers' houses.
૯તેઓની વંશાવળીઓ પ્રમાણે તેઓના કુટુંબીઓ નવસો છપ્પન. એ સર્વ પુરુષો પોતાના પિતૃઓના કુટુંબોના સરદારો હતા.
10 Of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, Jakin,
૧૦યાજકો; યદાયા, યહોયારીબ તથા યાખીન.
11 and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
૧૧અહિટૂબના દીકરા મરાયોથના દીકરા સાદોકના દીકરા મશુલ્લામના દીકરા હિલ્કિયાનો દીકરો અઝાર્યા ઈશ્વરના ઘરનો કારભારી હતો.
12 and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
૧૨માલ્કિયાના દીકરા પાશહૂરના દીકરા યરોહામનો દીકરો અદાયા. ઈમ્મેરના દીકરા મશિલ્લેમિથના દીકરા મશુલ્લામના દીકરા યાહઝેરાના દીકરા અદીએલનો દીકરો માસાય.
13 and their brothers, heads of their fathers' houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
૧૩તેઓના સગાંઓ, પોતાના પિતૃઓના કુટુંબનાં આગેવાનો એક હજાર સાતસો સાઠ હતા. તેઓ ઈશ્વરના ઘરની સેવાના કામમાં ઘણાં કુશળ પુરુષો હતા.
14 Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
૧૪લેવીઓમાંના એટલે મરારીના વંશજોમાંના; હશાબ્યાના દીકરા આઝ્રીકામના દીકરા હાશ્શૂબનો દીકરો શમાયા.
15 and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph,
૧૫બાક-બાક્કાર, હેરેશ તથા ગાલાલ, આસાફના દીકરા ઝિખ્રીના દીકરા મિખાનો દીકરો માત્તાન્યા.
16 and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
૧૬યદૂથૂનના દીકરા ગાલાલના દીકરા શમાયાનો દીકરો ઓબાદ્યા, એલ્કાનાના દીકરા આસાનો દીકરો બેરેખ્યા તેઓ નટોફાથીઓના ગામોના રહેવાસી હતા.
17 The gatekeepers: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),
૧૭દ્વારપાળો; શાલ્લુમ, આક્કુબ, ટાલ્મોન, અહીમાન તથા તેઓના વંશજો. શાલ્લુમ તેઓનો આગેવાન હતો.
18 who were previously stationed at the King's Gate on the east: they were the gatekeepers for the camp of the descendants of Levi.
૧૮એ સમયે તે શાલ્લુમ રાજાના પૂર્વ તરફના મુખ્ય દરવાજાનો દ્વારપાળ હતો. તેઓ લેવી વંશજોની છાવણીના દ્વારપાળો હતા.
19 Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent: and their fathers had been over the camp of the LORD, keepers of the entry.
૧૯કોરાહના દીકરા એબ્યાસાફના દીકરા કોરેનો દીકરો શાલ્લુમ, તેના પિતાના કુટુંબનાં તેના ભાઈઓ, એટલે કોરાહીઓ સેવાના કામ પર હતા તેઓ મંડપના દ્વારપાળો હતા. તેઓના પિતૃઓ યહોવાહની છાવણીનું પ્રવેશદ્વાર સંભાળનારા હતા.
20 Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
૨૦ગતકાળમાં એલાઝારનો દીકરો ફીનહાસ તેઓનો ઉપરી હતો, યહોવાહ તેમની સાથે હતા.
21 Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
૨૧મશેલેમ્યાનો દીકરો ઝખાર્યા “મુલાકાતમંડપના” દ્વારપાળ હતો.
22 All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their office of trust.
૨૨એ સર્વ જે દરવાજા ઉપર દ્વારપાળ તરીકે પસંદ કરાયેલા હતા તેઓ બસો બાર હતા. તેઓ પોતપોતાનાં ગામોમાં તેમની વંશાવળી પ્રમાણે ગણાયા હતા. તેઓને દાઉદે તથા શમુએલ પ્રબોધકે તેઓના મુકરર કરેલા કામ પર નીમ્યા હતા.
23 So they and their descendants had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, even the house of the tent, by wards.
૨૩તેથી તેઓનું તથા તેઓના દીકરાઓનું કામ યહોવાહની ભક્તિસ્થાનના દ્વારોની એટલે મંડપની, ચોકી કરીને સંભાળ રાખવાનું હતું.
24 On the four sides were the gatekeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
૨૪દ્વારપાળો ચારે બાજુએ ફરજ બજાવતા હતા, એટલે પૂર્વ, પશ્ચિમ, ઉત્તર તથા દક્ષિણ ગમ.
25 Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:
૨૫તેઓના જે ભાઈઓ તેઓના ગામોમાં હતા, તેઓને સાત દિવસને અંતરે વારાફરતી તેઓની સાથે સેવામાં સામેલ થવા સારુ આવતા હતા.
26 for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
૨૬ચાર મુખ્ય દરવાજાના રક્ષકો જે લેવીઓ હતા તેઓ ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનની ઓરડીઓ પર તથા ભંડારો પર નિમાયેલા હતા.
27 They lodged around the house of God, because that duty was on them; and to them pertained its opening morning by morning.
૨૭તેઓ ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનની આસપાસ તેમનાં કામ પ્રમાણે રહેતા હતા, કેમ કે તેઓ તેની રક્ષા માટે જવાબદાર હતા. દર સવારે તેને ઉઘાડવાનું કામ તેઓનું હતું.
28 Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service; for by count were these brought in and by count were these taken out.
૨૮તેઓમાંના કેટલાકના હવાલામાં સેવાનાં પાત્રો હતાં, તેઓ તે ગણીને બહાર લઈ જવાની અને ગણીને અંદર લાવવાની જવાબદારી હતી.
29 Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
૨૯વળી તેઓમાંના કેટલાકને રાચરચીલું, પવિત્રસ્થાનનાં સર્વ પાત્રો, મેંદો, દ્રાક્ષારસ, તેલ, લોબાન તથા સુગંધીદ્રવ્ય સાચવવા માટે નીમવામાં આવ્યા હતા.
30 Some of the sons of the priests prepared the confection of the spices.
૩૦યાજકના દીકરાઓમાંના કેટલાક સુગંધીઓની મેળવણી તૈયાર કરવાની ફરજ બજાવતા હતા.
31 Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
૩૧શાલ્લુમ કોરાહીનો જયેષ્ઠ દીકરો માત્તિથ્યા, જે એક લેવી હતો, તેને અર્પણો માટે રોટલીઓ તૈયાર કરવાનું કામ સોંપવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
32 Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
૩૨કહાથીઓના વંશજોમાંના કેટલાકને દર વિશ્રામવારે અર્પણ કરવાની રોટલી તૈયાર કરવાનું કામ સોંપવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
33 These are the singers, heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, who lived in the chambers and were free from other service; for they were employed in their work day and night.
૩૩ગાનારાઓ અને લેવીઓના કુટુંબનાં આગેવાનો પવિત્રસ્થાનના ઓરડાઓમાં રહેતા હતા, તેઓને અન્ય ફરજો બજાવવાની ન હતી, કેમ કે તેઓ રાત દિવસ પોતાના જ કામમાં વ્યસ્ત રહેતા હતા.
34 These were heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men: these lived at Jerusalem.
૩૪તેઓ લેવીઓના પિતૃઓના કુટુંબનાં આગેવાનો હતા, એટલે પોતાની સર્વ પેઢીઓમાં મુખ્ય પુરુષો હતા. તેઓ યરુશાલેમમાં રહેતા હતા.
35 In Gibeon there lived the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maacah:
૩૫ગિબ્યોનનો પિતા યેઈએલ ગિબ્યોનમાં રહેતો હતો, તેની પત્નીનું નામ માકા હતું.
36 and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
૩૬તેનો જયેષ્ઠ દીકરો આબ્દોન, પછી સૂર, કીશ, બઆલ, નેર તથા નાદાબ,
37 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
૩૭ગદોર, આહ્યો, ઝખાર્યા તથા મિકલોથ હતા.
38 Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. They also lived with their brothers in Jerusalem, over against their brothers.
૩૮મિકલોથનો દીકરો શિમામ હતો. તેઓ પણ પોતાના ભાઈઓની સાથે યરુશાલેમમાં રહેતા હતા.
39 Ner became the father of Kish; and Kish became the father of Saul; and Saul became the father of Jonathan, and Malkishua, and Abinadab, and Ishbaal.
૩૯નેરનો દીકરો કીશ હતો. કીશનો દીકરો શાઉલ હતો. શાઉલના દીકરાઓ; યોનાથાન, માલ્કી-શુઆ, અબીનાદાબ તથા એશ્બાલ.
40 The son of Jonathan was Mippibaal; and Mippibaal became the father of Micah.
૪૦યોનાથાનનો દીકરો મરીબ્બાલ હતો. મરીબ્બાલનો દીકરો મિખા હતો.
41 The sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
૪૧મિખાના દીકરાઓ; પિથોન, મેલેખ, તાહરેઆ તથા આહાઝ.
42 And Ahaz became the father of Jadah; and Jadah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza;
૪૨આહાઝનો દીકરો યારા. યારાના દીકરાઓ; આલેમેથ, આઝમાવેથ તથા ઝિમ્રી. ઝિમ્રીનો દીકરો મોસા હતો.
43 and Moza became the father of Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
૪૩મોસાનો દીકરો બિનઆ હતો. બિનઆનો દીકરો રફાયા હતો. રફાયાનો દીકરો એલાસા હતો. એલાસાનો દીકરો આસેલ હતો.
44 Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, his firstborn, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Azariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
૪૪આસેલના છ દીકરાઓ; આઝ્રીકામ, બોખરુ, ઇશ્માએલ, શાર્યા, ઓબાદ્યા તથા હાનાન હતા.
