Psalms 64

1 [For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. ESCUCHA, oh Dios, mi voz en mi oración: guarda mi vida del miedo del enemigo.

2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;

Escóndeme del secreto consejo de los malignos; de la conspiración de los que obran iniquidad:

3 who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,

Que amolaron su lengua como cuchillo, [y] armaron [por] su saeta palabra amarga;

4 to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.

Para asaetear á escondidas al íntegro: de improviso lo asaetean, y no temen.

5 They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, "Who will see them?"

Obstinados en su inicuo designio, tratan de esconder los lazos, [y] dicen: ¿Quién los ha de ver?

6 They plot injustice; they hide a well-conceived plan. Surely man's mind and heart are cunning.

Inquieren iniquidades, hacen una investigación exacta; y el íntimo pensamiento de cada uno [de ellos], así como el corazón, [es] profundo.

7 But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.

Mas Dios los herirá con saeta; de repente serán sus plagas.

8 Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.

Y harán caer sobre sí sus mismas lenguas: se espantarán todos los que los vieren.

9 All humankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.

Y temerán todos los hombres, y anunciarán la obra de Dios, y entenderán su hecho.

10 The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him.

Alegraráse el justo en Jehová, y confiaráse en él; y se gloriarán todos los rectos de corazón.
