Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of Jehovah, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
Veio sobre mim a mão do Senhor, e o Senhor, pelo espírito, me levou e me pôs no meio de um vale que estava cheio de ossos.
2 And he led me walk all around among them. And look, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and look, they were very dry.
E me fez passar por toda a roda deles; e eis que eram mui numerosos sobre a face do vale, e eis que estavam sequíssimos.
3 And he said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "Jehovah, you know."
E me disse: Filho do homem, porventura viverão estes ossos? E eu disse: Senhor Jehovah, tu o sabes.
4 Then he said to me, "Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah.'
Então me disse: profetiza sobre estes ossos, e dize-lhes: Ossos secos, ouvi a palavra do Senhor.
5 Thus says Jehovah to these bones: 'Look, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah a estes ossos: Eis que farei entrar em vós o espírito, e vivereis.
6 And I will put tendons on you, and make flesh grow on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am Jehovah.'"
E porei nervos sobre vós, e farei crescer carne sobre vós, e sobre vós estenderei pele, e porei em vós o espírito, e vivereis, e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a sound, and look, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
Então profetizei como se me deu ordem; e houve um arroido, profetizando eu; e eis que se fez um reboliço, e os ossos se achegaram, cada osso ao seu osso.
8 And I watched, and look, there were tendons on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them. But there was no breath in them.
E olhei, e eis que vinham nervos sobre eles, e cresceu a carne, e estendeu-se a pele sobre eles por cima; porém não havia neles espírito.
9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and tell the breath, 'Thus says Jehovah: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these corpses, that they may live.'"
E ele me disse: profetiza ao espírito, profetiza, ó filho do homem, e dize ao espírito: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Vem dos quatro ventos, ó espírito, e assopra sobre estes mortos, e viverão.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
E profetizei como ele me deu ordem: então o espírito entrou neles, e viveram, e se puseram em seus pés, um exército grande em extremo.
11 Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look, they say, 'Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are completely cut off.'
Então me disse: Filho do homem, estes ossos são toda a casa de Israel: eis que dizem: Os nossos ossos se secaram, e pereceu a nossa esperança: nós estamos cortados.
12 Therefore prophesy, and tell them, 'Thus says Jehovah: Look, I will open your graves and will raise you from your graves, my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel.
Portanto profetiza, e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu abrirei as vossas sepulturas, e vos farei subir das vossas sepulturas, ó povo meu, e vos trarei à terra de Israel.
13 And you will know that I am Jehovah, when I have opened your graves and raise you up out of your graves, my people.
E sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu abrir as vossas sepulturas, e vos fizer subir das vossas sepulturas, ó povo meu.
14 And I will put my breath in you and you will live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I am Jehovah; I have spoken it and I will do it,' says Jehovah."
E porei em vós o meu espírito, e vivereis, e vos meterei na vossa terra, e sabereis que eu, o Senhor, falei isto, e o fiz, diz o Senhor.
15 And the word of Jehovah came again to me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
16 "And you, son of man, take one stick and write on it, 'For Judah, and the people of Israel associated with him.' Then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel associated with him.'
Tu, pois, ó filho do homem, toma um pau, e escreve nele: A Judá e aos filhos de Israel, seus companheiros. E toma outro pau, e escreve nele: A José, o pau de Ephraim, e de toda a casa de Israel, seus companheiros.
17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
E ajunta um ao outro, para que sejam um pau; e serão unidos na tua mão.
18 And when your people ask you, saying, 'Will you not tell us what these things mean?'
E quando te falarem os filhos do teu povo, dizendo: Porventura não nos declaras que significam estas coisas?
19 tell them, 'Thus says Jehovah: "Look, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will put them on it, that is, on the stick of Judah, and make them into one stick, and they will be one in my hand."'
Então lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu tomarei o pau de José, que esteve na mão de Ephraim, e das tribos de Israel, seus companheiros, e os ajuntarei com ele ao pau de Judá, e farei deles um só pau, e eles se farão um só na minha mão.
20 And the sticks on which you write on will be in your hand in front of them.
E os paus, sobre que houveres escrito, estarão na tua mão, perante os olhos deles.
21 "Then say to them, 'Thus says Jehovah: Look, I am going to take the people of Israel from among the nations where they are gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them into their own land.
Dize-lhes pois: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu tomarei os filhos de Israel de entre as nações, para onde eles foram, e os congregarei de todas as partes, e os levarei à sua terra.
22 And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over them, and they will no longer be two nations, and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
E deles farei uma nação na terra, nos montes de Israel, e todos eles terão por seu rei um só rei; e nunca mais serão duas nações; nunca mais para o futuro se dividirão em dois reinos.
23 And they will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all their unfaithfulness in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And will they be my people, and I will be their God.
E nunca mais se contaminarão com os seus ídolos, nem com as suas abominações, nem com as suas prevaricações, e os livrarei de todas as suas habitações, em que pecaram, e os purificarei: assim me serão por povo, e eu lhes serei por Deus.
24 "'"And my servant David will be king over them; and they will all have one shepherd. And they will walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.
E meu Servo David será rei sobre eles, e todos eles terão um só pastor; e andarão nos meus juízos, e guardarão os meus estatutos, e os farão.
25 And they will live in the land that I gave to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they and their children and their children's children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.
E habitarão na terra que dei a meu servo Jacob, em que habitaram vossos pais; e habitarão nela, eles e seus filhos, e os filhos de seus filhos, para sempre, e David, meu servo, será seu príncipe eternamente.
26 And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will give to them and increase their numbers, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forever.
E farei com eles um concerto de paz; será com eles um concerto perpétuo; e os porei, e os multiplicarei, e porei o meu santuário no meio deles para sempre.
27 And my dwelling place will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.
E o meu tabernáculo estará com eles, e lhes serei por Deus e eles me serão por povo.
28 Then the nations will know that I am Jehovah who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forever."'"
E as nações saberão que eu sou o Senhor que santifico a Israel, quando estiver o meu santuário no meio deles para sempre.
