2 Chronicles 2
1 Now Solomon purposed to build a house for the name of Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom.
И повеле Соломон созидати дом имени Господню и дом царству своему.
2 Solomon counted out seventy thousand men to bear burdens, and eighty thousand men who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.
И собра царь Соломон седмьдесят тысящ мужей носящих времена и осмьдесят тысящах каменосечцев в горах, приставленных же над ними три тысящы и шесть сот.
3 Solomon sent to Hiram the king of Tyre, saying, "As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build him a house in which to dwell, so deal with me.
И посла Соломон к Хираму царю Тирску, глаголя: якоже сотворил еси с Давидом отцем моим и послал еси ему кедры, да созиждет себе дом, в немже ему обитати,
4 Look, I am about to build a house for the name of Jehovah my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Jehovah our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.
и се, аз сын его созидаю дом имени Господа Бога моего, да освяшу его Ему, еже кадити пред Ним фимиам ароматов и предложение всегда, и возносити всесожжения выну, утро и к вечеру, и в субботы, и в новомесячиих, и в праздницех Господа Бога нашего: во век сие бо Израили:
5 "The house which I build is great; for our God is great above all gods.
и дом, егоже аз созидаю, велик, велик бо есть Господь Бог наш паче всех богов,
6 But who is able to build him a house, since heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house, except just to burn incense before him?
и кто возможет создати Ему дом? Аще бо небо и небо небесе не могут вместити славы Его: и кто аз, созидаяй Ему дом? Но токмо еже кадити фимиам пред Ним:
7 "Now therefore send me a man skillful to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and who knows how to engrave engravings, to be with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.
ныне убо посли мне мужа мудра, иже весть дела творити в злате и сребре, и меди и железе, и порфире и в червлени и в синете, и иже знает ваяти ваяние, с мудрыми, иже у мене во Иудеи и во Иерусалиме, яже уготова Давид отец мой:
8 "Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon; for I know that your servants know how to cut timber in Lebanon: and look, my servants shall be with your servants,
и посли ми древа кедрова и аркевфова и певгова от Ливана, вем бо аз, яко раби твои умеют сещи древа от Ливана:
9 even to prepare me timber in abundance; for the house which I am about to build shall be great and wonderful.
и се, раби твои с рабы моими пойдут, да уготовают мне древа многа, дом бо, егоже аз созидаю, велик и преславен:
10 Look, I will give to your servants, the cutters who cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil."
и се, делателем, иже секут древа, дах в пищу рабом твоим пшеницы мер двадесять тысящ и ячменя мер двадесять тысящ, и вина мер двадесять тысящ и елеа мер двадесять тысящ.
11 Then Hiram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, "Because Jehovah loves his people, he has made you king over them."
Рече же Хирам царь Тирский чрез писание и посла к Соломону, глаголя: понеже возлюби Господь люди Своя, постави тя над ними царя.
12 Hiram continued, "Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, endowed with discretion and understanding, that should build a house for Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom.
И рече Хирам: благословен Господь Бог Израилев, иже сотвори небо и землю, иже даде Давиду царю сына премудра и учена, и умна и разумна, иже созиждет дом Господу и дом царству своему:
13 Now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Hiram Abi,
и ныне послах тебе мужа мудра и сведуща разум, Хирама раба моего:
14 the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan; and his father was a man of Tyre, skillful to work in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson, also to engrave any kind of engraving, and to execute any design; that there may be a place appointed to him with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.
матерь его от дщерей Дановых, отец же его муж Тирянин, иже весть делати в злате и сребре, и в меди и в железе, и в камениих и в древах, и ткати в порфире и в синете и в виссоне и в червленице, и ваяти всякую резь, и разумети всяко разумение, елика аще даси ему, с мудрыми твоими и с мудрыми господина моего Давида, отца твоего:
15 "Now therefore the wheat and the barley, the oil and the wine, which my lord has spoken of, let him send to his servants:
и ныне пшеницу и ячмень, и елей и вино, яже обещал еси, господине мой, посли рабом твоим,
16 and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you shall need; and we will bring it to you in floats by sea to Joppa; and you shall carry it up to Jerusalem."
мы же будем сещи древа от Ливана на всяку потребу твою и послем я плотами по морю Иоппийскому, ты же приведеши я во Иерусалим.
17 Solomon numbered all the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, after the numbering with which David his father had numbered them; and they were found one hundred fifty-three thousand six hundred.
И собра Соломон всех мужей пришелцев, иже бяху в земли Израилеве, по сочтению, имже сочте их Давид отец его, и обретени суть сто пятьдесят три тысящы и шесть сот:
18 He set seventy thousand of them to bear burdens, and eighty thousand who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred overseers to set the people at work.
сотвори же от них седмьдесят тысящ бременоносцев и осмьдесят тысящ каменосечцев, три тысящы и шесть сот приставники над делами людскими.
