Psalms 93

1 For the day before the Sabbath, when the land was [first] inhabited, the praise of a Song by David. The Lord reigns; he has clothed himself with honor: the Lord has clothed and girded himself with strength; for he has established the world, which shall not be moved.

主は王となり、威光の衣をまとわれます。主は衣をまとい、力をもって帯とされます。まことに、世界は堅く立って、動かされることはありません。

2 Your throne is prepared of old: you are from everlasting.

あなたの位はいにしえより堅く立ち、あなたはとこしえよりいらせられます。

3 The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voices,

主よ、大水は声をあげました。大水はその声をあげました。大水はそのとどろく声をあげます。

4 at the voices of many waters: the billows of the sea are wonderful: the Lord is wonderful in high places.

主は高き所にいらせられて、その勢いは多くの水のとどろきにまさり、海の大波にまさって盛んです。

5 Your testimonies are made very sure: holiness becomes your house, O Lord, for ever.

あなたのあかしはいとも確かです。主よ、聖なることはとこしえまでもあなたの家にふさわしいのです。
