Psalms 77
1 For the end, for Idithun, a Psalm of Asaph. I cried to the Lord with my voice, yes, my voice [was addressed] to God; and he gave heed to me.
Для дириґента хору. Для Єдуту́на. Псалом Асафів. Мій голос до Бога, — й я кли́кати буду, мій голос до Бога, — й почує мене!
2 In the day of mine affliction I earnestly sought the Lord; [even] with my hands by night before him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted.
В день недолі моєї шукаю я Господа, до Нього рука моя ви́тягнена вночі й не зомлі́є, не хоче душа моя бути поті́шена:
3 I remembered God, and rejoiced; I poured out my complaint, and my soul fainted. (Pause)
згадаю про Бога й зідха́ю, розважа́ю — й мій дух омліва́є! (Се́ла)
4 All mine enemies set a watch [against me]: I was troubled, and spoke not.
Ти де́ржиш пові́ки оче́й моїх, я побитий і не говорю́.
5 I considered the days of old, and remembered ancient years.
Пригадую я про дні давні, про роки відві́чні,
6 And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, [saying],
свою пісню вночі я прига́дую, говорю́ з своїм серцем, а мій дух розважа́є:
7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be well pleased no more?
Чи навіки покине Господь, і вже більш не вподо́бає?
8 Will he cut off his mercy for ever, even for ever and ever?
Чи навіки спини́лася милість Його́? Чи скінчи́лося слово Його в рід і рід?
9 Will God forget to pity? or will he shut up his compassions in his wrath? (Pause)
Чи Бог ми́лувати позабу́в? Чи гнівом замкнув Він Своє милосе́рдя? (Се́ла)
10 And I said, Now I have begun; this is the change of the right hand of the Most High.
І промовив був я: „То стражда́ння моє — переміна прави́ці Всевишнього“.
11 I remembered the works of the Lord; for I will remember your wonders from the beginning.
Пригада́ю я вчинки Господні, як чудо Твоє я згадаю відда́вна,
12 And I will meditate on all your works, and will consider your doings.
і буду я ду́мати про кожен Твій чин, і про вчинки Твої опові́м!
13 O God, your way is in the sanctuary; who is a great God as our God?
Боже, — святая доро́га Твоя, котри́й бог великий, як Бог наш?
14 You are the God that do wonders; you have made known your power among the nations.
Ти Той Бог, що чу́да вчиняє, Ти ви́явив силу Свою між наро́дами,
15 You have with your arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Pause)
Ти ви́зволив люд Свій раме́ном, — синів Якова й Йо́сипа! (Се́ла)
16 The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you, and feared; and the depths were troubled.
Тебе бачили води, о Боже, Тебе бачили во́ди — й тремтіли, затряслися й безо́дні.
17 [There was] an abundant sound of waters: the clouds uttered a voice; for your arrows went abroad.
Лила́ся струмко́м вода з хмар, тучі ви́дали грім, тако́ж там і сям Твої стрі́ли літали.
18 The voice of your thunder was abroad, and around your lightnings appeared to the world; the earth trembled a quaked.
Гуркіт грому Твого на небесному колі, й блискавки́ освіти́ли вселе́нну, тремті́ла й трясла́ся земля!
19 Your way is in the sea, and your paths in many waters, and your footsteps can’t be known.
Через море доро́га Твоя, а сте́жка Твоя — через во́ди великі, і не видно було́ Твоїх стіп.
20 You did guide your people as sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Ти прова́див наро́д Свій, немов ту ота́ру, рукою Мойсея та Ааро́на.
