< Psalms 26 >

1 [A Psalm] of David. Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in my innocence: and hoping in the Lord I shall not be moved.
Se yon sòm David. Fè m' jistis, Seyè, paske m'ap viv yon jan ki san repwòch. Mwen mete tout konfyans mwen nan ou, mwen pa janm lage ou.
2 Prove me, O Lord, and try me; purify as with fire my reins and my heart.
Fouye m', Seyè. Wè tou sa ki nan kè mwen. Sonde m'. Wè tou sa ki nan lide m',
3 For your mercy is before mine eyes: and I am well pleased with your truth.
Ou fè m' wè jan ou renmen mwen. M'ap viv yon jan ki dakò ak verite ou la.
4 I have not sat with the council of vanity, and will in nowise enter in with transgressors.
Mwen pa chita ansanm ak moun k'ap bay manti, mwen pa gen anyen pou m' wè ak moun ipokrit.
5 I have hated the assembly of wicked doers; and will not sit with ungodly [men].
Mwen rayi tout moun k'ap fè sa ki mal. Mwen pa chita ansanm ak mechan yo.
6 I will wash my hands in innocency, and compass your altar, O Lord:
Seyè, m'ap lave men m' pou m' moutre jan m' inonsan, mwen pral pwoche bò lotèl ou a,
7 to hear the voice of praise, and to declare all your wonderful works.
pou m' fè tout moun tande jan m'ap di ou mèsi, pou m' rakonte tout bèl bagay ou yo.
8 O Lord, I have loved the beauty of your house, and the place of the tabernacle of your glory.
Seyè, mwen renmen kay kote ou rete a, kay kote pouvwa ou ye a.
9 Destroy not my soul together with the ungodly, nor my life with bloody men:
Pa trete m' menm jan ak moun k'ap fè sa ki mal. Pa detwi m' ansanm ak sanginè yo,
10 in whose hands [are] iniquities, [and] their right hand is filled with bribes.
ansanm ak moun sa yo k'ap fè krim tout tan, ki toujou pare pou achte bouch moun.
11 But I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy upon me.
Pou mwen menm, m'ap mennen yon lavi ki san repwòch. Delivre m', gen pitye pou mwen.
12 My foot stands in an even place: in the congregations will I bless you, O Lord.
M'ap mache byen fèm nan chemen ki pa gen move pa a. M'a fè lwanj Seyè a nan mitan pèp la lè l' reyini.
