Psalms 143
1 A Psalm of David, when his son pursued him. O Lord, attend to my prayer: listen to my supplication in your truth; hear me in your righteousness.
௧தாவீதின் பாடல். யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய ஜெபத்தைக் கேளும், என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடும்; உமது உண்மையின்படியும் உமது நீதியின்படியும் எனக்கு உத்திரவு அருளிச்செய்யும்.
2 And enter not into judgment with your servant, for in your sight shall no [man] living be justified.
௨உயிருள்ள ஒருவனும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமானாக இல்லாததினாலே, அடியேனை நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யாமல் இரும்.
3 For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has brought my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in a dark [place], as those that have been long dead.
௩எதிரி என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைத் தொடர்ந்து, என்னுடைய உயிரைத் தரையோடு நசுக்கி, வெகுகாலத்திற்கு முன்பு இறந்தவர்கள்போல் என்னை இருளில் இருக்கச்செய்கிறான்.
4 Therefore my spirit was grieved in me; my heart was troubled within me.
௪என்னுடைய ஆவி என்னில் தியங்குகிறது; என்னுடைய இருதயம் எனக்குள் சோர்ந்துபோகிறது.
5 I remembered the days of old; and I meditated on all your doings: [yes], I meditated on the works of your hands.
௫ஆரம்பநாட்களை நினைக்கிறேன், உமது செய்கைகளையெல்லாம் தியானிக்கிறேன்; உமது கரத்தின் செயல்களை யோசிக்கிறேன்.
6 I spread forth my hands to you; my soul [thirsts] for you, as a dry land. (Pause)
௬என்னுடைய கைகளை உமக்கு நேராக விரிக்கிறேன்; வறண்ட நிலத்தைப்போல் என்னுடைய ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாக இருக்கிறது. (சேலா)
7 Hear me speedily, O Lord; my spirit has failed; turn not away your face from me, else I shall be like to them that go down to the pit.
௭யெகோவாவே, சீக்கிரமாக எனக்குச் செவிகொடும், என்னுடைய ஆவி சோர்ந்து போகிறது; நான் குழியில் இறங்குகிறவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பாகாதபடிக்கு, உமது முகத்தை எனக்கு மறைக்காமல் இரும்.
8 Cause me to hear your mercy in the morning; for I have hoped in you; make known to me, O Lord, the way wherein I should walk; for I have lifted up my soul to you.
௮அதிகாலையில் உமது கிருபையைக் கேட்கச்செய்யும், உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை எனக்குக் காண்பியும்; உம்மிடத்தில் என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன்.
9 Deliver me from mine enemies, O Lord; for I have fled to you for refuge.
௯யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; உம்மைப் புகலிடமாகக் கொள்ளுகிறேன்.
10 Teach me to do your will; for you are my God; your good Spirit shall guide me in the straight [way].
௧0உமக்குப் பிரியமானதைச் செய்ய எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும், நீரே என் தேவன்; உம்முடைய நல்ல ஆவி என்னைச் செம்மையான வழியிலே நடத்தட்டும்.
11 You shall quicken me, O Lord, for your name's sake; in your righteousness you shall bring my soul out of affliction.
௧௧யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய பெயரினிமித்தம் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்; உம்முடைய நீதியின்படி என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்.
12 And in your mercy you will destroy mine enemies, and will destroy all those that afflict my soul; for I am your servant.
௧௨உம்முடைய கிருபையின்படி என்னுடைய எதிரிகளை அழித்து, என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை ஒடுக்குகிற யாவரையும் அழியும்; நான் உமது அடியேன்.
