Esias 65
1 I became manifest to them that asked not for me; I was found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold, I am [here], to a nation, who called not on my name.
Ich werde gesucht von denen, die nicht nach mir fragten; ich werde funden von denen, die mich nicht suchten, und zu den Heiden, die meinen Namen nicht anriefen, sage ich: Hie bin ich, hie bin ich!
2 I have stretched forth my hands all day to a disobedient and gainsaying people, to them that walked in a way that was not good, but after their sins.
Denn ich recke meine Hände aus den ganzen Tag zu einem ungehorsamen Volk, das seinen Gedanken nachwandelt auf einem Wege, der nicht gut ist.
3 This is the people that provokes me continually in my presence; they offer sacrifices in gardens, and burn incense on bricks to devils, which exist not.
Ein Volk, das mich entrüstet, ist immer vor meinem Angesicht, opfert in den Gärten und räuchert auf den Ziegelsteinen,
4 They lie down to sleep in the tombs and in the caves for the sake of dreams, [even] they that eat swine's flesh, and the broth of [their] sacrifices: all their vessels are defiled:
wohnet unter den Gräbern und hält sich in den Höhlen, fressen Schweinefleisch und haben Greuelsuppen in ihren Töpfen
5 who say, Depart from me, draw not near to me, for I am pure. This is the smoke of my wrath, a fire burns with it continually.
und sprechen: Bleibe daheim und rühre mich nicht; denn ich soll dich heiligen. Solche sollen ein Rauch werden in meinem Zorn, ein Feuer, das den ganzen Tag brenne.
6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not be silent until I have recompensed into their bosom,
Siehe, es stehet vor mir geschrieben: Ich will nicht schweigen, sondern bezahlen; ja, ich will sie in ihren Busen bezahlen,
7 their sins and [the sins] of their fathers, says the Lord, who have burnt incense on the mountains, and reproached me on the hills: I will recompense their works into their bosom.
beide, ihre Missetat und ihrer Väter Missetat, miteinander, spricht der HERR, die auf den Bergen geräuchert und mich auf den Hügeln geschändet haben; ich will ihnen zumessen ihr voriges Tun in ihren Busen.
8 Thus says the Lord, As a grape-stone shall be found in the cluster, and they shall say, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for the sake of him that serves me, for his sake I will not destroy [them] all.
So spricht der HERR: Gleich als wenn man Most in einer Traube findet und spricht: Verderbe es nicht, denn es ist ein Segen drinnen! also will ich um meiner Knechte willen tun, daß ich es nicht alles verderbe,
9 And I will lead forth the seed [that came] of Jacob and of Juda, and they shall inherit my holy mountain: and mine elect and my servants shall inherit it, and shall dwell there.
sondern will aus Jakob Samen wachsen lassen und aus Juda, der meinen Berg besitze; denn meine Auserwählten sollen ihn besitzen, und meine Knechte sollen daselbst wohnen.
10 And there shall be in the forest folds of flocks, and the valley of Achor [shall] be for a resting-place of herds for my people, who have sought me.
Und Saron soll ein Haus für die Herde und das Tal Achor soll zum Viehlager werden meinem Volk, das mich suchet.
11 But you are they that have left me, and forget my holy mountain, and prepare a table for the devil, and fill up the drink-offering to Fortune.
Aber ihr, die ihr den HERRN verlasset und meines heiligen Berges vergesset und richtet dem Gad einen Tisch und schenket voll ein vom Trankopfer dem Meni,
12 I will deliver you up to the sword, you shall all fall by slaughter: for I called you, and you listened not; I spoke, and you refused to hear; and you did evil in my sight, and chose the things wherein I delighted not.
wohlan, ich will euch zählen zum Schwert, daß ihr euch alle bücken müsset zur Schlacht, darum daß ich rief und ihr antwortetet nicht, daß ich redete und ihr höretet nicht, sondern tatet, was mir übel gefiel, und erwähletet, das mir nicht gefiel.
13 Therefore thus says the Lord, Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall hunger: behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall thirst: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed:
Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Siehe, meine Knechte sollen essen, ihr aber sollt hungern; siehe, meine Knechte sollen trinken, ihr aber sollt dürsten; siehe, meine Knechte sollen fröhlich sein, ihr aber sollt zuschanden werden;
14 behold, my servants shall exult with joy, but you shall cry for the sorrow of your heart, and shall howl for the vexation of your spirit.
siehe, meine Knechte sollen vor gutem Mut jauchzen, ihr aber sollt vor Herzeleid schreien und vor Jammer heulen
15 For you shall leave your name for a loathing to my chosen, and the Lord shall destroy you: but my servants shall be called by a new name,
und sollt euren Namen lassen meinen Auserwählten zum Schwur; und der HERR HERR wird dich töten und seine Knechte mit einem andern Namen nennen,
16 which shall be blessed on the earth; for they shall bless the true God: and they that swear upon the earth shall swear by the true God; for they shall forget the former affliction, it shall not come into their mind.
daß, welcher sich segnen wird auf Erden, der wird sich in dem rechten Gott segnen, und welcher schwören wird auf Erden, der wird bei dem rechten Gott schwören; denn der vorigen Angst ist vergessen, und sind von meinen Augen verborgen.
17 For there shall be a new heaven and a new earth: and they shall not at all remember the former, neither shall they at all come into their mind.
Denn siehe, ich will einen neuen Himmel und neue Erde schaffen, daß man der vorigen nicht mehr gedenken wird noch zu Herzen nehmen,
18 But they shall find in her joy and exultation; for, behold, I make Jerusalem a rejoicing, and my people a joy.
sondern sie werden sich ewiglich freuen und fröhlich sein über dem, das ich schaffe. Denn siehe, ich will Jerusalem schaffen zur Wonne und ihr Volk zur Freude.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and will be glad in my people: and there shall no more be heard in her the voice of weeping, or the voice of crying.
Und ich will fröhlich sein über Jerusalem und mich freuen über mein Volk; und soll nicht mehr drinnen gehöret werden die Stimme des Weinens noch die Stimme des Klagens.
20 Neither shall there be there any more a [child that dies] untimely, or an old man who shall not complete his time: for the youth shall be a hundred years [old], and the sinner who dies at a hundred years shall also be accursed:
Es sollen nicht mehr da sein Kinder, die ihre Tage nicht erreichen, oder Alte, die ihre Jahre nicht erfüllen, sondern die Knaben von hundert Jahren sollen sterben, und die Sünder von hundert Jahren sollen verflucht sein.
21 and they shall build houses, and themselves shall dwell in [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and themselves shall eat the fruit thereof.
Sie werden Häuser bauen und bewohnen; sie werden Weinberge pflanzen und derselbigen Früchte essen.
22 They shall by no means build, and others inhabit; and they shall by no means plant, and others eat: for as the days of the tree of life shall be the days of my people, they shall long enjoy the fruits of their labors.
Sie sollen nicht bauen, das ein anderer bewohne, und nicht pflanzen; das ein anderer esse. Denn die Tage meines Volks werden sein wie die Tage eines Baumes, und das Werk ihrer Hände wird alt werden bei meinen Auserwählten.
23 My chosen shall not toil in vain, neither shall they beget children to be cursed; for they are a seed blessed of God, and their offspring with them.
Sie sollen nicht umsonst arbeiten noch unzeitige Geburt gebären, denn sie sind der Same der Gesegneten des HERRN und ihre Nachkommen mit ihnen.
24 And it shall come to pass, [that] before they call, I will listen to them; while they are yet speaking, I will say, What is it?
Und soll geschehen, ehe sie rufen, will ich antworten; wenn sie noch reden, will ich hören.
25 Then wolves and lambs shall feed together, and the lion shall eat chaff like the ox, and the serpent earth as bread. They shall not injure nor destroy in my holy mountain, says the Lord.
Wolf und Lamm sollen weiden zugleich; der Löwe wird Stroh essen wie ein Rind, und die Schlange soll Erde essen. Sie werden nicht schaden noch verderben auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berge, spricht der HERR.
