Esias 54

1 Rejoice, you barren that bear not; break forth and cry, you that do not travail: for more are the children of the desolate than of her that has a husband: for the Lord has said,

Rühme, du Unfruchtbare, die du nicht gebierest; freue dich mit Ruhm und jauchze, die du nicht schwanger bist! Denn die Einsame hat mehr Kinder, weder die den Mann hat, spricht der HERR.

2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and of your curtains: fix [the pins], spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pins;

Mache den Raum deiner Hütte weit und breite aus die Teppiche deiner Wohnung, spare sein nicht; dehne deine Seile lang und stecke deine Nägel fest!

3 spread forth [your tent] yet to the right and the left: for your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and you shall make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

Denn du wirst ausbrechen zur Rechten und zur Linken; und dein Same wird die Heiden erben und in den verwüsteten Städten wohnen.

4 Fear not, because you has been put to shame, neither be confounded, because you was reproached: for you shall forget your former shame, and shall no more at all remember the reproach of your widowhood.

Fürchte dich nicht, denn du sollst nicht zuschanden werden; werde nicht blöde, denn du sollst nicht zu Spott werden, sondern du wirst der Schande deiner Jungfrauschaft vergessen und der Schmach deiner Witwenschaft nicht mehr gedenken.

5 For [it is] the Lord that made you; the Lord of hosts is his name: and he that delivered you, he is the God of Israel, [and] shall be called [so] by the whole earth.

Denn der dich gemacht hat, ist dein Mann; HERR Zebaoth heißt sein Name; und dein Erlöser, der Heilige in Israel, der aller Welt Gott genannt wird.

6 The Lord has not called you as a deserted and faint-hearted woman, nor as a woman hated from [her] youth, says your God.

Denn der HERR hat dich lassen im Geschrei sein, daß du seiest wie ein verlassen und von Herzen betrübt Weib und wie ein junges Weib, das verstoßen ist, spricht dein Gott.

7 For a little while I left you: but with great mercy will I have compassion upon you.

Ich habe dich einen deinen Augenblick verlassen; aber mit großer Barmherzigkeit will ich dich sammeln.

8 In a little wrath I turned away my face from you; but with everlasting mercy will I have compassion upon you, says the Lord that delivers you.

Ich habe mein Angesicht im Augenblick des Zorns ein wenig von dir verborgen; aber mit ewiger Gnade will ich mich dein erbarmen, spricht der HERR, dein Erlöser.

9 From the time of the water of Noe this is my [purpose]: as I sware to him at that time, [saying] of the earth, I will no more be angry with you, neither when you are threatened,

Denn solches soll mir sein wie das Wasser Noahs, da ich schwur, daß die Wasser Noahs sollten nicht mehr über den Erdboden gehen. Also habe ich geschworen, daß ich nicht über dich zürnen noch dich schelten will.

10 shall the mountains depart, nor shall your hills be removed: so neither shall my mercy fail you, nor shall the covenant of your peace be at all removed: for the Lord [who is] gracious to you has spoken [it].

Denn es sollen wohl Berge weichen und Hügel hinfallen; aber meine Gnade soll nicht von dir weichen, und der Bund meines Friedens soll nicht hinfallen, spricht der HERR, dein Erbarmer.

11 Afflicted and outcast you has not been comforted: behold, I [will] prepare carbuncle [for] your stones, and sapphire for your foundations;

Du Elende, über die alle Wetter gehen, und du Trostlose! Siehe, ich will deine Steine wie einen Schmuck legen und will deinen Grund mit Saphiren legen

12 and I will make your buttresses jasper, and your gates crystal, and your border precious stones.

und deine Fenster aus Kristallen machen und deine Tore von Rubinen und alle deine Grenzen von erwählten Steinen;

13 And [I will cause] all your sons [to be] taught of God, and your children [to be] in great peace.

und alle deine Kinder gelehrt vom HERRN und großen Frieden deinen Kindern.

14 And you shall be built in righteousness: abstain from injustice, and you shall not fear; and trembling shall not come near you.

Du sollst durch Gerechtigkeit bereitet werden. Du wirst ferne sein von Gewalt und Unrecht, daß du dich davor nicht dürfest fürchten, und von Schrecken, denn es soll nicht zu dir nahen.

15 Behold, strangers shall come to you by me, and shall sojourn with you, and shall run to you for refuge.

Siehe, wer will sich wieder dich rotten und dich überfallen, so sie sich ohne mich rotten?

16 Behold, I have created you, not as the coppersmith blowing coals, and bringing out a vessel [fit] for work; but I have created you, not for ruin, that [I] should destroy [you].

Siehe, ich schaffe es, daß der Schmied, so die Kohlen im Feuer aufbläset, einen Zeug daraus mache zu seinem Werk; denn ich schaffe es, daß der Verderber umkommt.

17 I will not suffer any weapon formed against you to prosper; and every voice that shall rise up against you for judgment, you shall vanquish them all; and your adversaries shall be [condemned] thereby. There is an inheritance to them that serve the Lord, and you shall be righteous before me, says the Lord.

Denn aller Zeug, der wider dich zubereitet wird, dem soll nicht, gelingen, und alle Zunge, so sich wider dich setzt, sollst du im Gericht verdammen. Das ist das Erbe der Knechte des HERRN und ihre Gerechtigkeit von mir, spricht der HERR.
