Genesis 46
1 And Israel departed, he and all that he had, and came to the well of the oath; and he offered sacrifice to the God of his father Isaac.
௧இஸ்ரவேல் தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு புறப்பட்டுப் பெயெர்செபாவுக்குப் போய், தன் தகப்பனாகிய ஈசாக்குடைய தேவனுக்குப் பலியிட்டான்.
2 And God spoke to Israel in a night vision, saying, Jacob, Jacob; and he said, What is it?
௨அன்று இரவிலே தேவன் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குக் காட்சியளித்து: “யாக்கோபே, யாக்கோபே” என்று கூப்பிட்டார்; அவன் இதோ, “அடியேன்” என்றான்.
3 And he says to him, I am the God of your fathers; fear not to go down into Egypt, for I will make you there a great nation.
௩அப்பொழுது அவர்: “நான் தேவன், நான் உன் தகப்பனுடைய தேவன்; நீ எகிப்துதேசத்திற்குப்போகப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; அங்கே உன்னைப் பெரிய தேசமாக்குவேன்.
4 And I will go down with you into Egypt, and I will bring you up at the end; and Joseph shall put his hands on your eyes.
௪நான் உன்னுடனே எகிப்திற்கு வருவேன்; நான் உன்னைத் திரும்பவும் வரச்செய்வேன்; யோசேப்பு தன் கையால் உன் கண்களை மூடுவான்” என்று சொன்னார்.
5 And Jacob rose up from the well of the oath; and the sons of Israel took up their father, and the baggage, and their wives on the waggons, which Joseph sent to take them.
௫அதற்குப்பின்பு, யாக்கோபு பெயெர்செபாவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டான். இஸ்ரவேலின் மகன்கள் தங்களுடைய தகப்பனாகிய யாக்கோபையும், குழந்தைகளையும், மனைவிகளையும் பார்வோன் அனுப்பின வண்டிகளின்மேல் ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு,
6 And they took up their goods, and all their property, which they had gotten in the land of Chanaan; they came into the land of Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him.
௬தங்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளையும் தாங்கள் கானான் தேசத்தில் சம்பாதித்த தங்கள் பொருட்களையும் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, யாக்கோபும் அவனுடைய சந்ததியினர் அனைவரும் எகிப்திற்குப் போனார்கள்.
7 The sons, and the sons of his sons with him; [his] daughters, and the daughters of his daughters; and he brought all his seed into Egypt.
௭அவன் தன் மகன்களையும் தன் மகன்களின் மகன்களையும் தன் மகள்களையும் தன் மகன்களின் மகள்களையும் தன் சந்ததியார் அனைவரையும் எகிப்திற்குத் தன்னுடன் அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோனான்.
8 And these are the names of the sons of Israel that went into Egypt with their father Jacob—Jacob and his sons. The firstborn of Jacob, Ruben.
௮எகிப்திற்கு வந்த இஸ்ரவேலரின் பெயர்களாவன: யாக்கோபும் அவனுடைய மகன்களும்; யாக்கோபுடைய மூத்தமகனான ரூபன்.
9 And the sons of Ruben; Enoch, and Phallus, Asron, and Charmi.
௯ரூபனுடைய மகன்கள் ஆனோக்கு, பல்லூ, எஸ்ரோன், கர்மீ என்பவர்கள்.
10 and the sons of Symeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Aod, and Achin, and Saar, and Saul, the son of a Chananitish woman.
௧0சிமியோனுடைய மகன்கள் எமுவேல், யாமின், ஓகாத், யாகீன், சொகார், கானானிய பெண்ணின் மகனாகிய சவுல் என்பவர்கள்.
11 And the sons of Levi; Gerson, Cath, and Merari.
௧௧லேவியினுடைய மகன்கள் கெர்சோன், கோகாத், மெராரி என்பவர்கள்.
12 And the sons of Judas; Er, and Aunan, and Selom, and Phares, and Zara: and Er and Aunan died in the land of Chanaan.
௧௨யூதாவினுடைய மகன்கள் ஏர், ஓனான், சேலா, பாரேஸ், சேரா என்பவர்கள்; அவர்களில் ஏரும் ஓனானும் கானான்தேசத்தில் இறந்துபோனார்கள்; பாரேசுடைய மகன்கள் எஸ்ரோன், ஆமூல் என்பவர்கள்.
13 And the sons of Phares [were] Esron, and Jemuel. And the sons of Issachar; Thola, and Phua, and Asum, and Sambran.
௧௩இசக்காருடைய மகன்கள் தோலா, பூவா, யோபு, சிம்ரோன் என்பவர்கள்.
14 And the sons of Zabulun, Sered, and Allon, and Achoel.
௧௪செபுலோனுடைய மகன்கள் சேரேத், ஏலோன், யக்லேல் என்பவர்கள்.
15 These [are] the sons of Lea, which she bore to Jacob in Mesopotamia of Syria, and Dina his daughter; all the souls, sons and daughters, thirty-three.
௧௫இவர்கள் லேயாளின் சந்ததியார்; அவள் இவர்களையும் தீனாள் என்னும் ஒரு மகளையும் பதான் அராமிலே யாக்கோபுக்குப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்; அவனுடைய மகன்களும், மகள்களுமாகிய எல்லோரும் முப்பத்துமூன்றுபேர்.
16 And the sons of Gad; Saphon, and Angis, and Sannis, and Thasoban, and Aedis, and Aroedis, and Areelis.
௧௬காத்துடைய மகன்கள், சிப்பியோன், அகி, சூனி, எஸ்போன், ஏரி, ஆரோதி, அரேலி என்பவர்கள்.
17 And the sons of Aser; Jemna, Jessua, and Jeul, and Baria, and Sara their sister. And the sons of Baria; Chobor, and Melchiil.
௧௭ஆசேருடைய மகன்கள் இம்னா, இஸ்வா, இஸ்வி, பெரீயா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்களுடைய சகோதரி சேராக்கு என்பவள்; பெரீயாவின் மகன்கள் ஏபேர், மல்கியேல் என்பவர்கள்.
18 These [are] the sons of Zelpha, which Laban gave to his daughter Lea, who bore these to Jacob, sixteen souls.
௧௮இவர்கள் லாபான் தன் மகளாகிய லேயாளுக்குக் கொடுத்த சில்பாளுடைய பிள்ளைகள்; அவள் இந்தப் பதினாறுபேரையும் யாக்கோபுக்குப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்.
19 And the sons of Rachel, the wife of Jacob; Joseph, and Benjamin.
௧௯யாக்கோபின் மனைவியாகிய ராகேலுடைய மகன்கள் யோசேப்பு, பென்யமீன் என்பவர்கள்.
20 And there were sons born to Joseph in the land of Egypt, whom Aseneth, the daughter of Petephres, priest of Heliopolis, bore to him, [even] Manasses and Ephraim. And there were sons born to Manasses, which the Syrian concubine bore to him, [even] Machir. And Machir begot Galaad. And the sons of Ephraim, the brother of Manasses; Sutalaam, and Taam. And the sons of Sutalaam; Edom.
௨0யோசேப்புக்கு எகிப்துதேசத்திலே மனாசேயும் எப்பிராயீமும் பிறந்தார்கள்; அவர்களை ஓன் பட்டணத்து ஆசாரியனாகிய போத்திபிராவின் மகளாகிய ஆஸ்நாத் அவனுக்குப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள்.
21 and the sons of Benjamin; Bala, and Bochor, and Asbel. And the sons of Bala were Gera, and Noeman, and Anchis, and Ros, and Mamphim. And Gera begot Arad.
௨௧பென்யமீனுடைய மகன்கள் பேலா, பெகேர், அஸ்பேல், கேரா, நாகமான், ஏகி, ரோஷ், முப்பிம், உப்பீம், ஆர்து என்பவர்கள்.
22 These [are] the sons of Rachel, which she bore to Jacob; all the souls eighteen.
௨௨ராகேல் யாக்கோபுக்குப் பெற்ற மகன்களாகிய இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் பதினான்குபேர்.
23 And the sons of Dan; Asom.
௨௩தாணுடைய மகன் உசீம் என்பவன்.
24 And the sons of Nephthalim; Asiel, and Goni, and Issaar, and Sollem.
௨௪நப்தலியின் மகன்கள் யாத்சியேல், கூனி, எத்செர், சில்லேம் என்பவர்கள்.
25 These [are] the sons of Balla, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel, who bore these to Jacob; all the souls, seven.
௨௫இவர்கள் லாபான் தன் மகளாகிய ராகேலுக்குக் கொடுத்த பில்காள் யாக்கோபுக்குப் பெற்றவர்கள்; இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஏழுபேர்.
26 And all the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, who came out of his loins, besides the wives of the sons of Jacob, [even] all the souls were sixty-six.
௨௬யாக்கோபுடைய மகன்களின் மனைவிகளைத் தவிர, அவனுடைய கர்ப்பப்பிறப்பாயிருந்து அவன் மூலமாக எகிப்திற்கு வந்தவர்கள் எல்லோரும் அறுபத்தாறுபேர்.
27 And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in the land of Egypt, were nine souls; all the souls of the house of Jacob who came with Joseph into Egypt, were seventy-five souls.
௨௭யோசேப்புக்கு எகிப்திலே பிறந்த மகன்கள் இரண்டுபேர்; ஆக எகிப்திற்குப் போன யாக்கோபின் குடும்பத்தார் எழுபதுபேர்.
28 And he sent Judas before him to Joseph, to meet him to the city of Heroes, into the land of Ramesses.
௨௮கோசேன் நாட்டிலே தன்னை யோசேப்பு சந்திக்க வரும்படி சொல்ல, யூதாவைத் தனக்கு முன்னாக அவனிடத்திற்கு யாக்கோபு அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் கோசேனிலே சேர்ந்தார்கள்.
29 And Joseph having made ready his chariots, went up to meet Israel his father, at the city of Heroes; and having appeared to him, fell on his neck, and wept with abundant weeping.
௨௯யோசேப்பு தன் இரதத்தை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, அதின்மேல் ஏறி, தன் தகப்பனாகிய இஸ்ரவேலைச் சந்திக்கும்படி போய், அவனைக் கண்டு, அவனுடைய கழுத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, வெகுநேரம் அவனுடைய கழுத்தை விடாமல் அழுதான்.
30 And Israel said to Joseph, After this I will [gladly] die, since I have seen your face, for you are yet living.
௩0அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் யோசேப்பைப் பார்த்து: “நீ இன்னும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறாயே, நான் உன் முகத்தைக் கண்டேன், எனக்கு இப்போது மரணம் வந்தாலும் வரட்டும்” என்றான்.
31 And Joseph said to his brethren, I will go up and tell Pharao, and will say to him, My brethren, and my father's house, who were in the land of Chanaan, are come to me.
௩௧பின்பு, யோசேப்பு தன் சகோதரர்களையும் தன் தகப்பனுடைய குடும்பத்தாரையும் நோக்கி: “நான் பார்வோனிடத்திற்குப் போய், கானான்தேசத்திலிருந்து என் சகோதரர்களும் என் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
32 And the men are shepherds; for they have been feeders of cattle, and they have brought with them their cattle, and their kine, and all their property.
௩௨அவர்கள் மேய்ப்பர்கள், ஆடுமாடுகளை மேய்க்கிறது அவர்களுடைய தொழில்; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகளையும் தங்களுக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள் என்று அவருக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
33 If then Pharao call you, and say to you, What is you occupation?
௩௩பார்வோன் உங்களை அழைத்து, உங்களுடைய தொழில் என்ன என்று கேட்டால்,
34 You shall say, We your servants are herdsmen from our youth until now, both we and our fathers: that you may dwell in the land of Gesem of Arabia, for every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians.
௩௪நீங்கள், கோசேன் நாட்டிலே குடியிருக்க, அவனை நோக்கி: எங்கள் பிதாக்களைப்போல, உமது அடியாராகிய நாங்களும் எங்கள் சிறுவயதுமுதல் இதுவரைக்கும் மேய்ப்பர்களாக இருக்கிறோம் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்; மேய்ப்பர்கள் எல்லோரும் எகிப்தியருக்கு அருவருப்பாக இருக்கிறார்கள்” என்றான்.
