Psalms 22
1 To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?
Meu Deus, meu Deus, porque me desamparaste? porque te alongas do meu auxilio e das palavras do meu bramido?
2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
Meu Deus, eu clamo de dia, e tu não me ouves; de noite, e não tenho socego.
3 But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Porém tu és Sancto, o que habitas entre os louvores d'Israel.
4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
Em ti confiaram nossos paes; confiaram, e tu os livraste.
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
A ti clamaram e escaparam; em ti confiaram, e não foram confundidos.
6 But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
Mas eu sou verme, e não homem, opprobrio dos homens e desprezado do povo.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],
Todos os que vêem zombam de mim, arreganham os beiços e meneiam a cabeça, dizendo:
8 He trusted on the LORD [that] he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
Confiou no Senhor, que o livre; livre-o, pois n'elle tem prazer.
9 But thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope [when I was] upon my mother’s breasts.
Mas tu és o que me tiraste do ventre: fizeste-me esperar, estando aos peitos de minha mãe.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother’s belly.
Sobre ti fui lançado desde a madre; tu és o meu Deus desde o ventre de minha mãe.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble [is] near; for [there is] none to help.
Não te alongues de mim, pois a angustia está perto, e não ha quem ajude.
12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of Bashan have beset me round.
Muitos toiros me cercaram; fortes toiros de Bazan me rodearam.
13 They gaped upon me [with] their mouths, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.
Abriram contra mim suas boccas, como um leão que despedaça e que ruge.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
Como agua me derramei, e todos os meus ossos se desconjuntaram: o meu coração é como cera, derreteu-se no meio das minhas entranhas.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
A minha força se seccou como um caco, e a lingua se me pega ao paladar: e me pozeste no pó da morte.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Pois me rodearam cães: o ajuntamento de malfeitores me cercou, traspassaram-me as mãos e os pés.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me.
Poderia contar todos os meus ossos: elles o vêem e me contemplam.
18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
Repartem entre si os meus vestidos, e lançam sortes sobre a minha tunica.
19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Mas tu, Senhor, não te alongues de mim: força minha, apressa-te em soccorrer-me.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
Livra-me a minha alma da espada, e a minha predilecta da força do cão.
21 Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
Salva-me da bocca do leão, sim, ouviste-me, desde as pontas dos unicornios.
22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
Então declararei o teu nome aos meus irmãos: louvar-te-hei no meio da congregação.
23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
Vós, que temeis ao Senhor, louvae-o; todos vós, semente de Jacob, glorificae-o; e temei-o todos vós, semente d'Israel.
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
Porque não desprezou nem abominou a afflicção do afflicto, nem escondeu d'elle o seu rosto; antes, quando elle clamou, o ouviu.
25 My praise [shall be] of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
O meu louvor virá de ti na grande congregação: pagarei os meus votos perante os que o temem.
26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
Os mansos comerão e se fartarão; louvarão ao Senhor os que o buscam: o vosso coração viverá eternamente.
27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
Todos os limites da terra se lembrarão, e se converterão ao Senhor: e todas as gerações das nações adorarão perante a tua face.
28 For the kingdom [is] the LORD’s: and he [is] the governor among the nations.
Porque o reino é do Senhor, e elle domina entre as nações.
29 All [they that be] fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
Todos os que na terra são gordos comerão e adorarão, e todos os que descem ao pó se prostrarão perante elle: e ninguem poderá reter viva a sua alma.
30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
Uma semente o servirá: será contada ao Senhor de geração em geração.
31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done [this].
Chegarão e annunciarão a sua justiça ao povo que nascer, porquanto elle o fez.
