John 11
1 Now a certain [man] was sick, [named] Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
১অনন্তৰং মৰিযম্ তস্যা ভগিনী মৰ্থা চ যস্মিন্ ৱৈথনীযাগ্ৰামে ৱসতস্তস্মিন্ গ্ৰামে ইলিযাসৰ্ নামা পীডিত এক আসীৎ|
2 (It was [that] Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
২যা মৰিযম্ প্ৰভুং সুগন্ধিতেলৈন মৰ্দ্দযিৎৱা স্ৱকেশৈস্তস্য চৰণৌ সমমাৰ্জৎ তস্যা ভ্ৰাতা স ইলিযাসৰ্ ৰোগী|
3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
৩অপৰঞ্চ হে প্ৰভো ভৱান্ যস্মিন্ প্ৰীযতে স এৱ পীডিতোস্তীতি কথাং কথযিৎৱা তস্য ভগিন্যৌ প্ৰেষিতৱত্যৌ|
4 When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
৪তদা যীশুৰিমাং ৱাৰ্ত্তাং শ্ৰুৎৱাকথযত পীডেযং মৰণাৰ্থং ন কিন্ত্ৱীশ্ৱৰস্য মহিমাৰ্থম্ ঈশ্ৱৰপুত্ৰস্য মহিমপ্ৰকাশাৰ্থঞ্চ জাতা|
5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
৫যীশু ৰ্যদ্যপিমৰ্থাযাং তদ্ভগিন্যাম্ ইলিযাসৰি চাপ্ৰীযত,
6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
৬তথাপি ইলিযাসৰঃ পীডাযাঃ কথং শ্ৰুৎৱা যত্ৰ আসীৎ তত্ৰৈৱ দিনদ্ৱযমতিষ্ঠৎ|
7 Then after that saith he to [his] disciples, Let us go into Judæa again.
৭ততঃ পৰম্ স শিষ্যানকথযদ্ ৱযং পুন ৰ্যিহূদীযপ্ৰদেশং যামঃ|
8 [His] disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
৮ততস্তে প্ৰত্যৱদন্, হে গুৰো স্ৱল্পদিনানি গতানি যিহূদীযাস্ত্ৱাং পাষাণৈ ৰ্হন্তুম্ উদ্যতাস্তথাপি কিং পুনস্তত্ৰ যাস্যসি?
9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
৯যীশুঃ প্ৰত্যৱদৎ, একস্মিন্ দিনে কিং দ্ৱাদশঘটিকা ন ভৱন্তি? কোপি দিৱা গচ্ছন্ ন স্খলতি যতঃ স এতজ্জগতো দীপ্তিং প্ৰাপ্নোতি|
10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
১০কিন্তু ৰাত্ৰৌ গচ্ছন্ স্খলতি যতো হেতোস্তত্ৰ দীপ্তি ৰ্নাস্তি|
11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
১১ইমাং কথাং কথযিৎৱা স তানৱদদ্, অস্মাকং বন্ধুঃ ইলিযাসৰ্ নিদ্ৰিতোভূদ্ ইদানীং তং নিদ্ৰাতো জাগৰযিতুং গচ্ছামি|
12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
১২যীশু ৰ্মৃতৌ কথামিমাং কথিতৱান্ কিন্তু ৱিশ্ৰামাৰ্থং নিদ্ৰাযাং কথিতৱান্ ইতি জ্ঞাৎৱা শিষ্যা অকথযন্,
13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
১৩হে গুৰো স যদি নিদ্ৰাতি তৰ্হি ভদ্ৰমেৱ|
14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
১৪তদা যীশুঃ স্পষ্টং তান্ ৱ্যাহৰৎ, ইলিযাসৰ্ অম্ৰিযত;
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
১৫কিন্তু যূযং যথা প্ৰতীথ তদৰ্থমহং তত্ৰ ন স্থিতৱান্ ইত্যস্মাদ্ যুষ্মন্নিমিত্তম্ আহ্লাদিতোহং, তথাপি তস্য সমীপে যাম|
16 Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
১৬তদা থোমা যং দিদুমং ৱদন্তি স সঙ্গিনঃ শিষ্যান্ অৱদদ্ ৱযমপি গৎৱা তেন সাৰ্দ্ধং ম্ৰিযামহৈ|
17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had [lain] in the grave four days already.
১৭যীশুস্তত্ৰোপস্থায ইলিযাসৰঃ শ্মশানে স্থাপনাৎ চৎৱাৰি দিনানি গতানীতি ৱাৰ্ত্তাং শ্ৰুতৱান্|
18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
১৮ৱৈথনীযা যিৰূশালমঃ সমীপস্থা ক্ৰোশৈকমাত্ৰান্তৰিতা;
19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
১৯তস্মাদ্ বহৱো যিহূদীযা মৰ্থাং মৰিযমঞ্চ ভ্যাতৃশোকাপন্নাং সান্ত্ৱযিতুং তযোঃ সমীপম্ আগচ্ছন্|
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat [still] in the house.
২০মৰ্থা যীশোৰাগমনৱাৰ্তাং শ্ৰুৎৱৈৱ তং সাক্ষাদ্ অকৰোৎ কিন্তু মৰিযম্ গেহ উপৱিশ্য স্থিতা|
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
২১তদা মৰ্থা যীশুমৱাদৎ, হে প্ৰভো যদি ভৱান্ অত্ৰাস্থাস্যৎ তৰ্হি মম ভ্ৰাতা নামৰিষ্যৎ|
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give [it] thee.
২২কিন্ত্ৱিদানীমপি যদ্ ঈশ্ৱৰে প্ৰাৰ্থযিষ্যতে ঈশ্ৱৰস্তদ্ দাস্যতীতি জানেঽহং|
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
২৩যীশুৰৱাদীৎ তৱ ভ্ৰাতা সমুত্থাস্যতি|
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
২৪মৰ্থা ৱ্যাহৰৎ শেষদিৱসে স উত্থানসমযে প্ৰোত্থাস্যতীতি জানেঽহং|
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
২৫তদা যীশুঃ কথিতৱান্ অহমেৱ উত্থাপযিতা জীৱযিতা চ যঃ কশ্চন মযি ৱিশ্ৱসিতি স মৃৎৱাপি জীৱিষ্যতি;
২৬যঃ কশ্চন চ জীৱন্ মযি ৱিশ্ৱসিতি স কদাপি ন মৰিষ্যতি, অস্যাং কথাযাং কিং ৱিশ্ৱসিষি? (aiōn g165)
27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
২৭সাৱদৎ প্ৰভো যস্যাৱতৰণাপেক্ষাস্তি ভৱান্ সএৱাভিষিক্ত্ত ঈশ্ৱৰপুত্ৰ ইতি ৱিশ্ৱসিমি|
28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
২৮ইতি কথাং কথযিৎৱা সা গৎৱা স্ৱাং ভগিনীং মৰিযমং গুপ্তমাহূয ৱ্যাহৰৎ গুৰুৰুপতিষ্ঠতি ৎৱামাহূযতি চ|
29 As soon as she heard [that], she arose quickly, and came unto him.
২৯কথামিমাং শ্ৰুৎৱা সা তূৰ্ণম্ উত্থায তস্য সমীপম্ অগচ্ছৎ|
30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
৩০যীশু ৰ্গ্ৰামমধ্যং ন প্ৰৱিশ্য যত্ৰ মৰ্থা তং সাক্ষাদ্ অকৰোৎ তত্ৰ স্থিতৱান্|
31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
৩১যে যিহূদীযা মৰিযমা সাকং গৃহে তিষ্ঠন্তস্তাম্ অসান্ত্ৱযন তে তাং ক্ষিপ্ৰম্ উত্থায গচ্ছন্তিং ৱিলোক্য ৱ্যাহৰন্, স শ্মশানে ৰোদিতুং যাতি, ইত্যুক্ত্ৱা তে তস্যাঃ পশ্চাদ্ অগচ্ছন্|
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
৩২যত্ৰ যীশুৰতিষ্ঠৎ তত্ৰ মৰিযম্ উপস্থায তং দৃষ্ট্ৱা তস্য চৰণযোঃ পতিৎৱা ৱ্যাহৰৎ হে প্ৰভো যদি ভৱান্ অত্ৰাস্থাস্যৎ তৰ্হি মম ভ্ৰাতা নামৰিষ্যৎ|
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
৩৩যীশুস্তাং তস্যাঃ সঙ্গিনো যিহূদীযাংশ্চ ৰুদতো ৱিলোক্য শোকাৰ্ত্তঃ সন্ দীৰ্ঘং নিশ্ৱস্য কথিতৱান্ তং কুত্ৰাস্থাপযত?
34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
৩৪তে ৱ্যাহৰন্, হে প্ৰভো ভৱান্ আগত্য পশ্যতু|
35 Jesus wept.
৩৫যীশুনা ক্ৰন্দিতং|
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
৩৬অতএৱ যিহূদীযা অৱদন্, পশ্যতাযং তস্মিন্ কিদৃগ্ অপ্ৰিযত|
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
৩৭তেষাং কেচিদ্ অৱদন্ যোন্ধায চক্ষুষী দত্তৱান্ স কিম্ অস্য মৃত্যুং নিৱাৰযিতুং নাশক্নোৎ?
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
৩৮ততো যীশুঃ পুনৰন্তৰ্দীৰ্ঘং নিশ্ৱস্য শ্মশানান্তিকম্ অগচ্ছৎ| তৎ শ্মশানম্ একং গহ্ৱৰং তন্মুখে পাষাণ এক আসীৎ|
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been [dead] four days.
৩৯তদা যীশুৰৱদদ্ এনং পাষাণম্ অপসাৰযত, ততঃ প্ৰমীতস্য ভগিনী মৰ্থাৱদৎ প্ৰভো, অধুনা তত্ৰ দুৰ্গন্ধো জাতঃ, যতোদ্য চৎৱাৰি দিনানি শ্মশানে স তিষ্ঠতি|
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
৪০তদা যীশুৰৱাদীৎ, যদি ৱিশ্ৱসিষি তৰ্হীশ্ৱৰস্য মহিমপ্ৰকাশং দ্ৰক্ষ্যসি কথামিমাং কিং তুভ্যং নাকথযং?
41 Then they took away the stone [from the place] where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up [his] eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
৪১তদা মৃতস্য শ্মশানাৎ পাষাণোঽপসাৰিতে যীশুৰূৰ্দ্ৱ্ৱং পশ্যন্ অকথযৎ, হে পিত ৰ্মম নেৱেসনম্ অশৃণোঃ কাৰণাদস্মাৎ ৎৱাং ধন্যং ৱদামি|
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said [it], that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
৪২ৎৱং সততং শৃণোষি তদপ্যহং জানামি, কিন্তু ৎৱং মাং যৎ প্ৰৈৰযস্তদ্ যথাস্মিন্ স্থানে স্থিতা লোকা ৱিশ্ৱসন্তি তদৰ্থম্ ইদং ৱাক্যং ৱদামি|
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
৪৩ইমাং কথাং কথযিৎৱা স প্ৰোচ্চৈৰাহ্ৱযৎ, হে ইলিযাসৰ্ বহিৰাগচ্ছ|
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
৪৪ততঃ স প্ৰমীতঃ শ্মশানৱস্ত্ৰৈ ৰ্বদ্ধহস্তপাদো গাত্ৰমাৰ্জনৱাসসা বদ্ধমুখশ্চ বহিৰাগচ্ছৎ| যীশুৰুদিতৱান্ বন্ধনানি মোচযিৎৱা ত্যজতৈনং|
45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
৪৫মৰিযমঃ সমীপম্ আগতা যে যিহূদীযলোকাস্তদা যীশোৰেতৎ কৰ্ম্মাপশ্যন্ তেষাং বহৱো ৱ্যশ্ৱসন্,
46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
৪৬কিন্তু কেচিদন্যে ফিৰূশিনাং সমীপং গৎৱা যীশোৰেতস্য কৰ্ম্মণো ৱাৰ্ত্তাম্ অৱদন্|
47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
৪৭ততঃ পৰং প্ৰধানযাজকাঃ ফিৰূশিনাশ্চ সভাং কৃৎৱা ৱ্যাহৰন্ ৱযং কিং কুৰ্ম্মঃ? এষ মানৱো বহূন্যাশ্চৰ্য্যকৰ্ম্মাণি কৰোতি|
48 If we let him thus alone, all [men] will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
৪৮যদীদৃশং কৰ্ম্ম কৰ্ত্তুং ন ৱাৰযামস্তৰ্হি সৰ্ৱ্ৱে লোকাস্তস্মিন্ ৱিশ্ৱসিষ্যন্তি ৰোমিলোকাশ্চাগত্যাস্মাকম্ অনযা ৰাজধান্যা সাৰ্দ্ধং ৰাজ্যম্ আছেৎস্যন্তি|
49 And one of them, [named] Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
৪৯তদা তেষাং কিযফানামা যস্তস্মিন্ ৱৎসৰে মহাযাজকপদে ন্যযুজ্যত স প্ৰত্যৱদদ্ যূযং কিমপি ন জানীথ;
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
৫০সমগ্ৰদেশস্য ৱিনাশতোপি সৰ্ৱ্ৱলোকাৰ্থম্ একস্য জনস্য মৰণম্ অস্মাকং মঙ্গলহেতুকম্ এতস্য ৱিৱেচনামপি ন কুৰুথ|
51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
৫১এতাং কথাং স নিজবুদ্ধ্যা ৱ্যাহৰদ্ ইতি ন,
52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
৫২কিন্তু যীশূস্তদ্দেশীযানাং কাৰণাৎ প্ৰাণান্ ত্যক্ষ্যতি, দিশি দিশি ৱিকীৰ্ণান্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য সন্তানান্ সংগৃহ্যৈকজাতিং কৰিষ্যতি চ, তস্মিন্ ৱৎসৰে কিযফা মহাযাজকৎৱপদে নিযুক্তঃ সন্ ইদং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাক্যং কথিতৱান্|
53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
৫৩তদ্দিনমাৰভ্য তে কথং তং হন্তুং শক্নুৱন্তীতি মন্ত্ৰণাং কৰ্ত্তুং প্ৰাৰেভিৰে|
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
৫৪অতএৱ যিহূদীযানাং মধ্যে যীশুঃ সপ্ৰকাশং গমনাগমনে অকৃৎৱা তস্মাদ্ গৎৱা প্ৰান্তৰস্য সমীপস্থাযিপ্ৰদেশস্যেফ্ৰাযিম্ নাম্নি নগৰে শিষ্যৈঃ সাকং কালং যাপযিতুং প্ৰাৰেভে|
55 And the Jews’ passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
৫৫অনন্তৰং যিহূদীযানাং নিস্তাৰোৎসৱে নিকটৱৰ্ত্তিনি সতি তদুৎসৱাৎ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱং স্ৱান্ শুচীন্ কৰ্ত্তুং বহৱো জনা গ্ৰামেভ্যো যিৰূশালম্ নগৰম্ আগচ্ছন্,
56 Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast?
৫৬যীশোৰন্ৱেষণং কৃৎৱা মন্দিৰে দণ্ডাযমানাঃ সন্তঃ পৰস্পৰং ৱ্যাহৰন্, যুষ্মাকং কীদৃশো বোধো জাযতে? স কিম্ উৎসৱেঽস্মিন্ অত্ৰাগমিষ্যতি?
57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew [it], that they might take him.
৫৭স চ কুত্ৰাস্তি যদ্যেতৎ কশ্চিদ্ ৱেত্তি তৰ্হি দৰ্শযতু প্ৰধানযাজকাঃ ফিৰূশিনশ্চ তং ধৰ্ত্তুং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱম্ ইমাম্ আজ্ঞাং প্ৰাচাৰযন্|
