< Hebrews 12 >

1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Dadꞌi hita mana tasodꞌa leleꞌ ia, taꞌo bee? Ata onaꞌ atahori mana tungga nekesesesuꞌ nenelat ra. Bei-baꞌi tara mana ramahere Lamatualain maꞌahulun, ara onaꞌ mana manilu ra rambariiꞌ rereoꞌ fo huhuar nggita. Te mete ma hita feꞌe nenepaꞌa to sala-kiluꞌ ra, naa tao nggita nda telaꞌ beꞌi sa. Naa de ata musi nggari hendi basa sala-kiluꞌ ra, naa fo ata bisa telaꞌ tahereꞌ. Huu Lamatualain tengga nala hita ena fo tungga nekesesesuꞌ ia, dadꞌi taꞌatataaꞌ fo telaꞌ takandoo losa nggaris mateꞌen a.
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Boe ma telaꞌ naa afiꞌ mete dꞌii-ona, te meteꞌ a Yesus. Huu Eni mana natudꞌu dalaꞌ fo bisa tamahere neu Lamatualain. Misinedꞌa do hokoꞌ? Naa tebꞌe. Huu Ana mate de basa ma, Lamatualain soꞌu E fo endoꞌ sia Lamatualain bobꞌoa onan, de Ruꞌa se parenda raꞌabꞌue.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
Hei labꞌan dala deꞌulaka ra ena, te nda feꞌe labꞌan mihereꞌ losa raa mara sai sa. Tebꞌe, to?
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
Mbei ma hei liliiꞌ Lamatualain Dedꞌea-oꞌolan fo Ana nafadꞌe neu nggi, onaꞌ amaꞌ sa olaꞌ no anan nae, “Ana ngge! Mete ma hita Lamatuan huku-doki fo nanori nggo, naa fo musodꞌa tungga dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a, na, afi mae naa nda papakeꞌ sa! Do mete ma Ana naꞌangge fo nanori nggo, na, ralam afiꞌ naꞌaana.
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Ana tao taꞌo naa, huu hei dadꞌi anan ena. Te amaꞌ musi naꞌangge fo nanori anan, losa anan nahine nasodꞌa tungga dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a.
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
De mete ma Lamatualain nda naꞌangge fo nanori nggi onaꞌ anan laen ra sa, naa sosoan nae, hei ia, nda Eni anan sa.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
Hita biasa fee hadꞌa-hormat neu ama bonggi tara sia raefafoꞌ ia, huu nanori nggita leleꞌ ata feꞌe anadꞌikiꞌ. Naa ndaa ena. Te lelenan fai, ata musi tao rerenaꞌ neu Lamatualain, huu Eni, hita Aman sia sorga, de Ana naꞌangge fo nanori nggita tasodꞌa tungga dala ndoo-tetun.
10 For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.
Hita ama bonggin naꞌangge fo nanori nggita noꞌ a hate mataꞌ, tungga saa fo nae maloleꞌ. Te Lamatualain nahine lenaꞌ saa fo hita parlu tanoriꞌ a.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Te dodꞌoo na rala tara lino-lende, huu tahine tasodꞌa tungga Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
Toronoo nggare! Tao miꞌidere lima mana bengge mara, ma mingganggafa ei mana mangguꞌ mara. Afiꞌ melaꞌ penggo-panggi, te melaꞌ no ndoos mikindoo, fo atahori mamahereꞌ mana male-maꞌaꞌ ra, maꞌadꞌere baliꞌ fo relaꞌ rakandoo boe. Hei musi tao manggate rala mara ma miꞌitataaꞌ mikindoo ma mimihere neu Kristus.
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Toronoo mana mimihere neu Kristus! Hei musi mihehereꞌ fo misodꞌa dame mo basa atahori.
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;
Esa huhuar esa, naa fo afiꞌ losa hei ruma dinggoꞌ ao mara de nda mimedꞌa mita Lamatualain rala malolen sa. Minea matalolole fo afiꞌ hela esa o namedꞌa rala meraꞌ sia taladꞌa mara boe. Te naa onaꞌ raso mana meruꞌ, mana tao nalutu atahori hetar.
16 Lest there [be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
Ma besa-bꞌesa, ma minea fo ruma afiꞌ tao leli. Boe ma besa-bꞌesa ma minea fo masodꞌa mara afiꞌ dinggoꞌ hela Lamatualain, onaꞌ Esau. Esau naa, baꞌi Isak ana ulun. Faiꞌ sa, Esau baliꞌ no ndoen. De ana noꞌe nanaat pinggaꞌ sa mia odꞌin Yakob, de bae nendiꞌ hak ulun.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Huu leleꞌ ama Isak noꞌe Lamatuaꞌ fo fee papala-babꞌanggiꞌ ana uluꞌ neu e, Isak nda bisa noꞌe sa ena, huu Esau fee hendi parsumaꞌ a hak na. Naa de mae ana nggae ei-ei o, ana nda hambu baliꞌ saa fo ana nggari hendiꞌ maꞌahulun sa ena.
18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
Taꞌo ia, toronoo nggara e! hita o bisa tema tisiꞌ Lamatualain matan, tungga dala feuꞌ fo Ana soi fee neu nggita. Te lele uluꞌ a bei-baꞌi tara nda feꞌe bisa taꞌo naa sa. Huu leleꞌ Lamatualain hengge-nee hehelu-fufulin no se, ara deka ro leteꞌ sa, naran Sinai. Sia leteꞌ naa ata ai a mbila. Hambu sanggu-anin boe. Ma Leteꞌ a hatu kibꞌu-kibꞌuꞌ, de ramatau rae mate.
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which [voice] they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
Ara o rena maꞌoa liin, boe ma rena Lamatuaꞌ haran manaseliꞌ a mia leteꞌ naa.
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
Memaꞌ ara nda raꞌatataaꞌ sa ena, huu saa fo Lamatuaꞌ parendaꞌ naa, beran seli. Huu Ana nafadꞌe nae, “Esa o nda bole tabꞌu leteꞌ ia sa boe! Mae atahori do, banda o! Huu se tabꞌu leteꞌ ia, musi honda se rendiꞌ fatu losa mate.”
21 And so terrible was the sight, [that] Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake: )
Saa fo ara rita sia leteꞌ naa, memaꞌ nemetaus tebꞌe. Losa baꞌi Musa o nggeꞌe-nggeꞌe boe.
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Kota naa o, dadꞌi mamana neꞌebꞌuet mia basa atahori mana ramahere neu Kristus ena.
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.
Yesus o sia naa boe, fo dadꞌi lelete fee Lamatualain no atahori. Yesus mate raan nandali, fo Lamatualain hengge-nee hehelu-fufuli feuꞌ no nggita. Naa de Yesus raan, tao maꞌasufu Lamatualain ralan. Te ia feaꞌ no Habel raan sia Dudꞌuit Fefeuꞌ a. Huu leleꞌ Kaen nisa Habel, Habel raan mana mandaliꞌ naa, tao Lamatualain namanasa, de Ana fee huku-dokiꞌ neu Kaen.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape], if we turn away from him that [speaketh] from heaven:
Pasa ndiki mara malolole fo rena saa fo Lamatualain nae olaꞌ fee nggi. Afiꞌ tao onaꞌ bei-baꞌi tara, fo nda simbo baꞌi Musa oꞌolan sa, leleꞌ ana dadꞌi Lamatualain mana ola-olan mia raefafoꞌ ia.
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
Leleꞌ bei-baꞌi tara rambariiꞌ mia lete Sinai, Lamatuaꞌ hara manaselin, tao rae a nanggonggaꞌ. Ia na, Ana helu-fuli nae, “Dei fo Au tao rae a nanggongga lao esa fai, te nda akaꞌ rae a nanggongga sa, huu lalai a o, nanggongga tungga boe.”
27 And this [word], Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Lamatualain toꞌu parendaꞌ sia sorga. Naa nda bisa nambalutu sa. Sofeꞌ no mole-dame. Huu nae simbo nggi fo dadꞌi atahorin sia naa, de, ima fo toꞌe makasi neu E, beꞌutee neu E, ma tananaru E huu manaselin!
29 For our God [is] a consuming fire.
Te ata musi besa-bꞌesa, te Lamatualain nasan, onaꞌ ai a hotu hendi basaꞌ e losa babꞌasan.
