2 John 1
1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
හේ අභිරුචිතේ කුරියේ, ත්වාං තව පුත්‍රාංශ්ච ප්‍රති ප්‍රාචීනෝ(අ)හං පත්‍රං ලිඛාමි|
සත්‍යමතාද් යුෂ්මාසු මම ප්‍රේමාස්ති කේවලං මම නහි කින්තු සත්‍යමතඥානාං සර්ව්වේෂාමේව| යතඃ සත්‍යමතම් අස්මාසු තිෂ්ඨත්‍යනන්තකාලං යාවච්චාස්මාසු ස්ථාස්‍යති| (aiōn g165)
3 Grace be with you, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
පිතුරීශ්වරාත් තත්පිතුඃ පුත්‍රාත් ප්‍රභෝ ර‍්‍යීශුඛ්‍රීෂ්ටාච්ච ප්‍රාප්‍යෝ (අ)නුග්‍රහඃ කෘපා ශාන්තිශ්ච සත්‍යතාප්‍රේමභ්‍යාං සාර්ද්ධං යුෂ්මාන් අධිතිෂ්ඨතු|
4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
වයං පිතෘතෝ යාම් ආඥාං ප්‍රාප්තවන්තස්තදනුසාරේණ තව කේචිද් ආත්මජාඃ සත්‍යමතම් ආචරන්ත්‍යේතස්‍ය ප්‍රමාණං ප්‍රාප්‍යාහං භෘශම් ආනන්දිතවාන්|
5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
සාම්ප්‍රතඤ්ච හේ කුරියේ, නවීනාං කාඤ්චිද් ආඥාං න ලිඛන්නහම් ආදිතෝ ලබ්ධාම් ආඥාං ලිඛන් ත්වාම් ඉදං විනයේ යද් අස්මාභිඃ පරස්පරං ප්‍රේම කර්ත්තව්‍යං|
6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
අපරං ප්‍රේමෛතේන ප්‍රකාශතේ යද් වයං තස්‍යාඥා ආචරේම| ආදිතෝ යුෂ්මාභි ර‍්‍යා ශ්‍රුතා සේයම් ආඥා සා ච යුෂ්මාභිරාචරිතව්‍යා|
7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
යතෝ බහවඃ ප්‍රවඤ්චකා ජගත් ප්‍රවිශ්‍ය යීශුඛ්‍රීෂ්ටෝ නරාවතාරෝ භූත්වාගත ඒතත් නාඞ්ගීකුර්ව්වන්ති ස ඒව ප්‍රවඤ්චකඃ ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටාරිශ්චාස්ති|
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
අස්මාකං ශ්‍රමෝ යත් පණ්ඩශ්‍රමෝ න භවේත් කින්තු සම්පූර්ණං වේතනමස්මාභි ර්ලභ්‍යේත තදර්ථං ස්වානධි සාවධානා භවතඃ|
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
යඃ කශ්චිද් විපථගාමී භූත්වා ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය ශික්‍ෂායාං න තිෂ්ඨති ස ඊශ්වරං න ධාරයති ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය ශිඥායාං යස්තිෂ්ඨති ස පිතරං පුත්‍රඤ්ච ධාරයති|
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed:
යඃ කශ්චිද් යුෂ්මත්සන්නිධිමාගච්ඡන් ශික්‍ෂාමේනාං නානයති ස යුෂ්මාභිඃ ස්වවේශ්මනි න ගෘහ්‍යතාං තව මඞ්ගලං භූයාදිති වාගපි තස්මෛ න කථ්‍යතාං|
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
යතස්තව මඞ්ගලං භූයාදිති වාචං යඃ කශ්චිත් තස්මෛ කථයති ස තස්‍ය දුෂ්කර්ම්මණාම් අංශී භවති|
12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not [write] with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
යුෂ්මාන් ප්‍රති මයා බහූනි ලේඛිතව්‍යානි කින්තු පත්‍රමසීභ්‍යාං තත් කර්ත්තුං නේච්ඡාමි, යතෝ (අ)ස්මාකම් ආනන්දෝ යථා සම්පූර්ණෝ භවිෂ්‍යති තථා යුෂ්මත්සමීපමුපස්ථායාහං සම්මුඛීභූය යුෂ්මාභිඃ සම්භාෂිෂ්‍ය ඉති ප්‍රත්‍යාශා මමාස්තේ|
13 The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.
තවාභිරුචිතායා භගින්‍යා බාලකාස්ත්වාං නමස්කාරං ඥාපයන්ති| ආමේන්|
