Luke 22
1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
১তখন খামিরহীন রুটির পর্ব, যাকে নিস্তারপর্ব্ব বলে, কাছাকাছি ছিল;
2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
২আর প্রধান যাজকেরা ও ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকেরা কীভাবে তাঁকে হত্যা করতে পারে, তারই চেষ্টা করছিল, কারণ তারা লোকদের ভয় করত।
3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
৩আর শয়তান ঈষ্করিয়োতীয় নামে যিহূদার ভিতরে প্রবেশ করল, এ সেই বারো জনের একজন।
4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
৪তখন সে গিয়ে প্রধান যাজকদের ও সেনাপতিদের সাথে কথাবার্তা বলল, কীভাবে তাঁকে তাদের হাতে সমর্পণ করতে পারবে।
5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
৫তখন তারা আনন্দিত হল ও তাকে টাকা দিতে প্রতিজ্ঞা করল। তাতে সে রাজি হল এবং
6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
৬জনতার নজরের বাইরে তাঁকে ধরিয়ে দেবার সুযোগ খুঁজতে লাগল।
7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
৭পরে খামিরহীন রুটির দিন, অর্থাৎ যে দিন নিস্তারপর্ব্বের মেষশাবক বলি দিতে হত, সেই দিন আসল।
8 And he sent Kepha and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
৮তখন তিনি পিতর ও যোহনকে পাঠিয়ে দিয়ে বললেন, তোমরা গিয়ে নিস্তারপর্ব্বের ভোজ প্রস্তুত কর, আমরা ভোজন করব।
9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
৯তারা বললেন, কোথায় প্রস্তুত করব?
10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
১০আপনার ইচ্ছা কি? তিনি তাদেরকে বললেন, দেখ, তোমরা সবাই শহরে ঢুকলে এমন একজন লোকের দেখা পাবে, যে একটা কলসিতে করে জল নিয়ে যাচ্ছে; তোমরা তার পেছনে পেছনে যেও; সে যে বাড়িতে ঢুকবে।
11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
১১আর সেই বাড়ির মালিককে বোলো, গুরু বলেছেন, যেখানে আমি আমার শিষ্যদের সঙ্গে নিস্তারপর্ব্বের ভোজ খেতে পারি, আমার সেই অতিথিশালা কোথায়?
12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
১২তাতে সে তোমাদের সাজানো একটি ওপরের বড় ঘর দেখিয়ে দেবে;
13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
১৩সেই জায়গায় প্রস্তুত কর। তারা গিয়ে, তিনি যেরকম বলেছিলেন, সেরকম দেখতে পেলেন; পরে তাঁরা নিস্তারপর্ব্বের ভোজ তৈরী করলেন।
14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
১৪পরে দিন হলে তিনি ও প্রেরিতরা একসঙ্গে ভোজে অংশগ্রহণ করলেন।
15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
১৫তখন তিনি তাদের বললেন, আমার দুঃখভোগের আগে তোমাদের সাথে আমি এই নিস্তারপর্ব্বের ভোজ ভোজন করতে আমি খুব ইচ্ছা করছি;
16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of YHWH.
১৬কারণ আমি তোমাদের বলছি, যে পর্যন্ত ঈশ্বরের রাজ্যে এ পূর্ণ না হয়, সেই পর্যন্ত আমি এ আর ভোজন করব না।
17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
১৭পরে তিনি পানপাত্র নিয়ে ধন্যবাদ দিয়ে বললেন, এটা নাও এবং নিজেদের মধ্যে ভাগ কর;
18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of YHWH shall come.
১৮কারণ আমি তোমাদের বলছি, যে পর্যন্ত ঈশ্বরের রাজ্যের আগমন না হয়, এখন থেকে সেই পর্যন্ত আমি আঙ্গুর ফলের রস পান করব না।
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
১৯পরে তিনি রুটী নিয়ে ধন্যবাদ দিয়ে ভাঙলেন এবং তাদেরকে দিলেন, আর বললেন, “এটা আমার শরীর যেটা তোমাদের দেওয়া হয়েছে। এটি আমার স্মরণে কর।
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
২০আর সেইভাবে তিনি খাওয়ার পর পানপাত্রও নিয়ে বললেন, এই পানপাত্র আমার রক্তের নতুন নিয়ম, যে রক্ত তোমাদের জন্য বাহিত হয়।
21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
২১কিন্তু দেখ, যে ব্যক্তি আমাকে সমর্পণ করছে, তার হাত আমার সঙ্গে টেবিলের উপরে রয়েছে।
22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
২২কারণ যেমন নির্ধারিত হয়েছে সেই অনুসারেই মনুষ্যপুত্র যাচ্ছেন, কিন্তু ধিক সেই ব্যক্তিকে, যার মাধ্যমে তিনি সমর্পিত হন।”
23 And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
২৩তখন্ তারা একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করতে লাগলেন, “তবে আমাদের মধ্যে এ কাজ কে করবে?”
24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
২৪আর তাদের মধ্যে এই নিয়ে তর্ক শুরু হল যে, তাদের মধ্যে কে শ্রেষ্ঠ বলে গণ্য।
25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise rule over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
২৫কিন্তু তিনি তাদের বললেন, অইহূদিদের রাজারাই তাদের উপরে প্রভুত্ব করে এবং তাদের উপর যার কর্তৃত্ব থাকে তাকে সম্মানীয় শাসক বলে।
26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
২৬কিন্তু তোমরা সেই রকম হয়ো না; বরং তোমাদের মধ্যে যে শ্রেষ্ঠ, সে ছোটোর মত হোক; এবং যে প্রধান, সে দাসের মত হোক।
27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
২৭কারণ, কে শ্রেষ্ঠ? যে ভোজনে বসে, না পরিবেশন করে? যে ভোজনে বসে সেই কি না? কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে দাসের মত আছি।
28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
২৮তোমরাই আমার সব পরীক্ষায় তো আমার সঙ্গে রয়েছ;
29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
২৯আর আমার পিতা যেমন আমার জন্য নির্ধারণ করেছেন, আমিও তেমনি তোমাদের জন্য এক রাজ্য নির্ধারণ করছি,
30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
৩০যেন তোমরা আমার রাজ্যে আমার সঙ্গে ভোজন পান কর; আর তোমরা সিংহাসনে বসে ইস্রায়েলের বারো বংশের বিচার করবে।
31 And He said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
৩১শিমোন, শিমোন, দেখ, গমের মত চেলে বের করার জন্য শয়তান তোমাদের নিজের বলে চেয়েছে;
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
৩২কিন্তু আমি তোমার জন্য প্রার্থনা করেছি, যেন তোমাদের বিশ্বাসে ভাঙ্গন না ধরে; আর তুমিও একবার ফিরলে পর তোমার ভাইদের সুস্থির করও।
33 And he said unto him, Rabbi, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
৩৩তিনি তাকে বললেন, প্রভু, আপনার সঙ্গে আমি কারাগারে যেতে এবং মরতেও রাজি আছি।
34 And he said, I tell thee, Kepha, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
৩৪তিনি বললেন, পিতর আমি তোমাকে বলছি, যে পর্যন্ত তুমি আমাকে চেন না বলে তিনবার অস্বীকার করবে, সেই পর্যন্ত আজ মোরগ ডাকবে না।
35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
৩৫আর তিনি তাদের বললেন, আমি যখন থলি, ঝুলি ও জুতো ছাড়া তোমাদের পাঠিয়েছিলাম, তখন কি কিছুরই অভাব হয়েছিল? তারা বললেন কিছুই না।
36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
৩৬তখন তিনি তাদের বললেন, এখন যার থলি আছে, সে তা নিয়ে যাক, সেইভাবে ঝুলিও নিয়ে নিক; এবং যার নেই, সে নিজের পোষাক বিক্রি করে তলোয়ার কিনুক।
37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
৩৭কারণ আমি তোমাদের বলছি, এই যে কথা শাস্ত্রে লেখা আছে, “আর তিনি অধার্মিকদের সঙ্গে গণ্য হলেন” তা আমাতে পূর্ণ হতে হবে; কারণ আমার বিষয়ে যা, তা পূর্ণ হচ্ছে।
38 And they said, Rabbi, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
৩৮তখন তারা বললেন, প্রভু, দেখুন, দুটি তলোয়ার আছে। তিনি তাদের বললেন, এই যথেষ্ট।
39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
৩৯পরে তিনি বাইরে এসে নিজের নিয়ম অনুসারে জৈতুন পর্বতে গেলেন এবং শিষ্যরাও তার পিছন পিছন গেলেন।
40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
৪০সেই জায়গায় আসলে পর তিনি তাদের বললেন, তোমরা প্রার্থনা কর, যেন প্রলোভনে না পড়।
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
৪১পরে তিনি তাদের থেকে কিছু দূরে গিয়ে হাঁটু গেড়ে বসে প্রার্থনা করতে লাগলেন, বললেন,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
৪২পিতা যদি তোমার ইচ্ছা হয়, আমার থেকে এই দুঃখের পানপাত্র দূর কর; তবুও আমার ইচ্ছা নয়, তোমারই ইচ্ছা পূর্ণ হোক
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
৪৩তখন স্বর্গ থেকে এক দূত দেখা দিয়ে তাঁকে সবল করলেন।
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
৪৪পরে তিনি করুন দুঃখে মগ্ন হয়ে আরো একমনে প্রার্থনা করলেন; আর তার ঘাম যেন রক্তের আকারে বড় বড় ফোঁটা হয়ে জমিতে পড়তে লাগল।
45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,
৪৫পরে তিনি প্রার্থনা করে উঠলে পর শিষ্যদের কাছে এসে দেখলেন, তারা দুঃখের জন্য ঘুমিয়ে পড়েছে,
46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
৪৬আর তাদের বললেন, কেন ঘুমাচ্ছ? ওঠ, প্রার্থনা কর, যেন প্রলোভনে না পড়।
47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Yahushua to kiss him.
৪৭তিনি কথা বলছেন, এমন দিন দেখ, অনেক লোক এবং যার নাম যিহূদা সেই বারো জনের মধ্যে একজন সে তাদের আগে আগে আসছে; সে যীশুকে চুম্বন করবার জন্য তাঁর কাছে আসল।
48 But Yahushua said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
৪৮কিন্তু যীশু তাকে বললেন, যিহূদা, চুম্বনের মাধ্যমে কি মনুষ্যপুত্রকে সমর্পণ করছ?
49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Rabbi, shall we smite with the sword?
৪৯তখন কি কি ঘটবে, তা দেখে যারা তাঁর কাছে ছিলেন, তারা বললেন, প্রভু আমরা কি তলোয়ারের আঘাত করব?
50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
৫০আর তাদের মধ্যে এক ব্যক্তি মহাযাজকের দাসকে আঘাত করে তার ডান কান কেটে ফেললেন।
51 And Yahushua answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
৫১কিন্তু যীশু উত্তরে বললেন, এই পর্যন্ত শান্ত হও। পরে তিনি তার কান স্পর্শ করে তাকে সুস্থ করলেন।
52 Then Yahushua said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
৫২আর তার বিরুদ্ধে যে প্রধান যাজকেরা, ধর্মগৃহের সেনাপতি ও প্রাচীনেরা এসেছিল, যীশু তাদের বললেন, লোকে “যেমন দস্যুর বিরুদ্ধে যায়, তেমনি খড়গ ও লাঠি নিয়ে কি তোমরা আসলে?
53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
৫৩আমি যখন প্রতিদিন ধর্মগৃহে তোমাদের সঙ্গে ছিলাম, তখন আমায় উপরে হাত রাখেনি; কিন্তু এই তোমাদের দিন এবং অন্ধকারের কর্তৃত্ব।”
54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Kepha followed afar off.
৫৪পরে তারা তাঁকে ধরে নিয়ে গেল এবং মহাযাজকের বাড়িতে আনলো; আর পিতর দূরে থেকে পিছন পিছন চললেন।
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Kepha sat down among them.
৫৫পরে লোকেরা উঠোনের মধ্যে আগুন জ্বালিয়ে একসঙ্গে বসলে পিতর তাদের মধ্যে বসলেন।
56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
৫৬তিনি সেই আলোর কাছে বসলে এক দাসী তাকে দেখে তার দিকে এক নজরে চেয়ে বলল, এ ব্যক্তি ওর সঙ্গে ছিল।
57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
৫৭কিন্তু তিনি অস্বীকার করে বললেন, না, নারী! আমি ওকে চিনি না।
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Kepha said, Man, I am not.
৫৮একটু পরে আর একজন তাকে দেখে বলল, তুমিও তাদের একজন। পিতর বললেন, না, আমি নই।
59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.
৫৯ঘন্টাখানেক পরে আর একজন জোর দিয়ে বলল, সত্যি, এ ব্যক্তিও তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিল, কারণ এ গালীলীয় লোক।
60 And Kepha said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
৬০তখন পিতর বললেন, দেখ, তুমি কি বলছ, আমি বুঝতে পারছি না। তিনি কথা বলছিলেন, আর অমনি মোরগ ডেকে উঠল।
61 And Yahushua turned, and looked upon Kepha. And Kepha remembered the word of Yahushua, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
৬১আর প্রভু মুখ ফিরিয়ে পিতরের দিকে নজর দিলেন; তাতে প্রভু এই যে কথা বলেছিলেন, “আজ মোরগ ডাকবার আগে তুমি তিনবার আমাকে অস্বীকার করবে।” তা পিতরের মনে পড়ল।
62 And Kepha went out, and wept bitterly.
৬২আর তিনি বাইরে গিয়ে কান্নায় ভেঙে পড়লেন।
63 And the men that held Yahushua mocked him, and smote him.
৬৩আর যে লোকেরা যীশুকে ধরেছিল, তারা তাঁকে ঠাট্টা ও মারধর করতে শুরু করল।
64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?
৬৪আর তাঁর চোখ ঢেকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল, ভাববাণী বল দেখি, “কে তোকে মারলো?”
65 And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.
৬৫আর তারা ঈশ্বরনিন্দা করে তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে আরো অনেক কথা বলতে লাগল।
66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
৬৬যখন দিন হল, তখন লোকদের প্রাচীন নেতারা, প্রধান যাজকেরা ও ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষক একসঙ্গে মিলিত হল এবং নিজেদের সভার মধ্যে তাঁকে নিয়ে এসে বলল।
67 Art thou the Messiah? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
৬৭তুমি যদি সেই খ্রীষ্ট হও, তবে আমাদের বল, তিনি তাদের বললেন, “যদি তোমাদের বলি, তোমরা বিশ্বাস করবে না;
68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.
৬৮আর যদি তোমাদের জিজ্ঞাসা করি, কোনো উত্তর দেবে না;”
69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of YHWH.
৬৯কিন্তু এখন থেকে মনুষ্যপুত্র ঈশ্বরের শক্তির ডান পাশে বসে থাকবেন।
70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of the Most High? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
৭০তখন সবাই বলল, তবে তুমি কি ঈশ্বরের পুত্র? তিনি তাদের বললেন, তোমরাই তো বলছ যে, “আমিই সেই।”
71 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
৭১তখন তারা বলল, “আর সাক্ষ্যে আমাদের কি প্রয়োজন? আমরা নিজেরাই তো তাঁর মুখে শুনলাম।”
