Psalms 141

1 LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

۱ مزمور داود ای خداوند تو را می‌خوانم. نزد من بشتاب! و چون تو را بخوانم آوازمرا بشنو!

2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

۲ دعای من به حضور تو مثل بخورآراسته شود، و برافراشتن دستهایم، مثل هدیه شام.

3 Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

۳ ‌ای خداوند، بر دهان من نگاهبانی فرما و درلبهایم را نگاه دار.

4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

۴ دل مرا به عمل بد مایل مگردان تا مرتکب اعمال زشت با مردان بدکارنشوم. و از چیزهای لذیذ ایشان نخورم.

5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

۵ مرد عادل مرا بزند و لطف خواهد بود، و مرا تادیب نماید و روغن برای سر خواهد بود! و سر من آن راابا نخواهد نمود زیرا که در بدیهای ایشان نیزدعای من دایم خواهد بود.

6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

۶ چون داوران ایشان از سر صخره‌ها انداخته شوند، آنگاه سخنان مراخواهند شنید زیرا که شیرین است.

7 Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth. (Sheol h7585)

۷ مثل کسی‌که زمین را فلاحت و شیار بکند، استخوانهای مابر سر قبرها پراکنده می‌شود. (Sheol h7585)

8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

۸ زیرا که‌ای یهوه خداوند، چشمان من بسوی توست. و بر تو توکل دارم. پس جان مرا تلف منما!

9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

۹ مرا از دامی که برای من نهاده‌اند نگاه دار و از کمندهای گناهکاران.

10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

۱۰ شریران به دامهای خود بیفتند و من بسلامتی در بگذرم.
