Deuteronomy 28
1 And it shall come to pass, if you shall listen diligently to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command you this day, that the LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth:
౧“మీరు మీ యెహోవా దేవుని మాట శ్రద్ధగా విని ఈరోజు నేను మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తున్న ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటి ప్రకారం నడుచుకుంటే మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా భూమి మీదున్న ప్రజలందరి కంటే మిమ్మల్ని హెచ్చిస్తాడు.
2 And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall listen to the voice of the LORD your God.
౨మీరు మీ యెహోవా దేవుని మాట వింటే ఈ దీవెనలన్నీ మీరు స్వంతం చేసుకుంటారు.
3 Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.
౩పట్టణంలో, పొలంలో మీకు దీవెనలు కలుగుతాయి.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep.
౪మీ గర్భఫలం, మీ భూఫలం, మీ పశువుల మందలూ, మీ దుక్కిటెద్దులూ, మీ గొర్రె మేకల మందల మీద దీవెనలుంటాయి.
5 Blessed shall be your basket and your store.
౫మీ గంప, పిండి పిసికే తొట్టి మీదా దీవెనలుంటాయి.
6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
౬మీరు లోపలికి వచ్చేటప్పుడు, బయటికి వెళ్ళేటప్పుడు దీవెనలుంటాయి.
7 The LORD shall cause your enemies that rise up against you to be smitten before your face: they shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways.
౭యెహోవా మీ మీదికి వచ్చే మీ శత్రువులు మీ ఎదుట హతమయ్యేలా చేస్తాడు. వాళ్ళు ఒక దారిలో మీ మీదికి దండెత్తి వచ్చి ఏడు దారుల్లో మీ ఎదుట నుంచి పారిపోతారు.
8 The LORD shall command the blessing on you in your storehouses, and in all that you set your hand to; and he shall bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
౮మీ ధాన్యపు గిడ్డంగుల్లో మీరు చేసే ప్రయత్నాలన్నిటిలో మీకు దీవెన కలిగేలా యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తాడు. మీ యెహోవా దేవుడు మీకిస్తున్న దేశంలో ఆయన మిమ్మల్ని ఆశీర్వదిస్తాడు.
9 The LORD shall establish you an holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in his ways.
౯మీరు మీ యెహోవా దేవుని ఆజ్ఞల ప్రకారం ఆయన మార్గాల్లో నడుచుకుంటే యెహోవా మీకు ప్రమాణం చేసినట్టు ఆయన తనకు ప్రతిష్టిత ప్రజగా మిమ్మల్ని స్థాపిస్తాడు.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of you.
౧౦భూప్రజలంతా యెహోవా పేరుతో మిమ్మల్ని పిలవడం చూసి మీకు భయపడతారు.
11 And the LORD shall make you plenteous in goods, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you.
౧౧యెహోవా మీకిస్తానని మీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణం చేసిన దేశంలో యెహోవా మీ గర్భఫలాన్నీ మీ పశువులనూ మీ పంటనూ సమృద్ధిగా వర్ధిల్లజేస్తాడు.
12 The LORD shall open to you his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain to your land in his season, and to bless all the work of your hand: and you shall lend to many nations, and you shall not borrow.
౧౨యెహోవా మీ దేశం మీద దాని కాలంలో వాన కురిపించడానికీ మీరు చేసే పనంతటినీ ఆశీర్వదించడానికీ ఆకాశ గిడ్డంగులను తెరుస్తాడు. మీరు అనేక రాజ్యాలకు అప్పిస్తారు కాని అప్పు చెయ్యరు.
13 And the LORD shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if that you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day, to observe and to do them:
౧౩ఇవ్వాళ నేను మీకాజ్ఞాపించే మాటలన్నిటిలో ఏ విషయంలోనూ కుడివైపుకు గాని, ఎడమవైపుకు గాని తొలగిపోకుండా
14 And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
౧౪వేరే దేవుళ్ళను పూజించడానికి వాటి వైపుకు పోకుండా మీరు అనుసరించి నడుచుకోవాలని ఇవ్వాళ నేను మీ కాజ్ఞాపిస్తున్నాను. మీ యెహోవా దేవుని ఆజ్ఞలు విని, వాటిని పాటిస్తే యెహోవా మిమ్మల్ని తలగా చేస్తాడు గానీ తోకగా చెయ్యడు. మీరు పైస్థాయిలో ఉంటారు గానీ కిందిస్థాయిలో ఉండరు.
15 But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day; that all these curses shall come on you, and overtake you:
౧౫నేను ఇవ్వాళ మీకాజ్ఞాపించే అన్ని ఆజ్ఞలనూ, చట్టాలనూ మీరు పాటించాలి. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా చెప్పిన మాట వినకపోతే ఈ శాపాలన్నీ మీకు వస్తాయి.
16 Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field.
౧౬పట్టణంలో మీకు శాపాలు ఉంటాయి. పొలంలో మీకు శాపాలు ఉంటాయి.
17 Cursed shall be your basket and your store.
౧౭మీ గంప, పిండి పిసికే మీ తొట్టి మీద శాపాలు ఉంటాయి.
18 Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your land, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep.
౧౮మీ గర్భఫలం, మీ భూపంట, మీ పశువుల మందల మీద శాపాలు ఉంటాయి.
19 Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.
౧౯మీరు లోపలికి వచ్చేటప్పుడు బయటికి వెళ్ళేటప్పుడు శాపాలు ఉంటాయి.
20 The LORD shall send on you cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that you set your hand to for to do, until you be destroyed, and until you perish quickly; because of the wickedness of your doings, whereby you have forsaken me.
౨౦మీరు నన్ను విడిచిపెట్టి, మీ దుర్మార్గపు పనులతో మీరు నాశనమైపోయి త్వరగా నశించే వరకూ, మీరు చేద్దామనుకున్న పనులన్నిటిలో యెహోవా శాపాలను, కలవరాన్నీ, నిందనూ మీ మీదికి తెప్పిస్తాడు.
21 The LORD shall make the pestilence stick to you, until he have consumed you from off the land, where you go to possess it.
౨౧మీరు స్వాధీనం చేసుకోబోయే దేశంలో ఉండకుండాా మీరు నాశనమయ్యే వరకూ తెగులు మీకు అంటిపెట్టుకుని ఉండేలా చేస్తాడు.
22 The LORD shall smite you with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue you until you perish.
౨౨యెహోవా మీపై అంటు రోగాలతో, జ్వరంతో, అగ్నితో, కరువుతో, మండుటెండలతో, వడగాడ్పులతో, బూజు తెగులుతో దాడి చేస్తాడు. మీరు నాశనమయ్యే వరకూ అవి మిమ్మల్ని వెంటాడతాయి.
23 And your heaven that is over your head shall be brass, and the earth that is under you shall be iron.
౨౩మీ తల మీద ఆకాశం కంచులా ఉంటుంది. మీ కిందున్న నేల ఇనుములా ఉంటుంది.
24 The LORD shall make the rain of your land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down on you, until you be destroyed.
౨౪యెహోవా మీ ప్రాంతంలో పడే వానను పిండిలాగా, ధూళిలాగా చేస్తాడు. మీరు నాశనమయ్యే వరకూ అది ఆకాశం నుంచి మీ మీద పడుతుంది.
25 The LORD shall cause you to be smitten before your enemies: you shall go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shall be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
౨౫యెహోవా మీ శత్రువుల ఎదుట మిమ్మల్ని ఓడిస్తాడు. ఒక దారిలో మీరు వారికెదురుగా వెళ్ళి ఏడు దారుల్లో పారిపోతారు. ప్రపంచ దేశాలన్నిటిలో అటూ ఇటూ చెదరిపోతారు.
26 And your carcass shall be meat to all fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.
౨౬నీ శవం అన్ని రకాల పక్షులకూ, క్రూర మృగాలకూ ఆహారమవుతుంది. వాటిని బెదిరించే వాడెవడూ ఉండడు.
27 The LORD will smite you with the botch of Egypt, and with the tumors, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof you can not be healed.
౨౭యెహోవా ఐగుప్తు కురుపులతో, పుండ్లతో, చర్మవ్యాధులతో, దురదతో మిమ్మల్ని బాధిస్తాడు. మీరు వాటిని బాగుచేసుకోలేరు.
28 The LORD shall smite you with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
౨౮పిచ్చి, గుడ్డితనం, ఆందోళనతో యెహోవా మిమ్మల్ని బాధిస్తాడు.
29 And you shall grope at noonday, as the blind gropes in darkness, and you shall not prosper in your ways: and you shall be only oppressed and spoiled ever more, and no man shall save you.
౨౯ఒకడు గుడ్డివాడుగా చీకట్లో వెతుకుతున్నట్టు మీరు మధ్యాహ్న సమయంలో వెతుకుతారు. మీరు చేసే పనుల్లో అభివృద్ది చెందరు. ఇతరులు మిమ్మల్ని అణిచివేస్తారు, దోచు కుంటారు. ఎవ్వరూ మిమ్మల్ని కాపాడలేరు.
30 You shall betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: you shall build an house, and you shall not dwell therein: you shall plant a vineyard, and shall not gather the grapes thereof.
౩౦ఒక కన్యను నువ్వు ప్రదానం చేసుకుంటావు కానీ వేరేవాడు ఆమెను లైంగికంగా కలుస్తాడు. మీరు ఇల్లు కడతారు కానీ దానిలో కాపురం చెయ్యరు. ద్రాక్షతోట నాటుతారు కానీ దాని పండ్లు తినరు.
31 Your ox shall be slain before your eyes, and you shall not eat thereof: your ass shall be violently taken away from before your face, and shall not be restored to you: your sheep shall be given to your enemies, and you shall have none to rescue them.
౩౧మీ కళ్ళముందే మీ ఎద్దును కోస్తారు కానీ దాని మాంసాన్ని మీరు తినరు. మీ దగ్గర నుంచి మీ గాడిదను బలవంతంగా తీసుకెళ్ళిపోతారు. దాన్ని తిరిగి మీకు ఇవ్వరు. మీ గొర్రెలను మీ విరోధులకు ఇస్తారు కానీ మీకు సహాయం చేసేవాడు ఎవ్వడూ ఉండడు.
32 Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, and your eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in your hand.
౩౨మీ కొడుకులను, కూతుళ్ళను అన్య జనులతో పెండ్లికి ఇస్తారు. వారి కోసం మీ కళ్ళు రోజంతా ఎదురు చూస్తూ అలిసిపోతాయి గానీ మీ వల్ల ఏమీ జరగదు.
33 The fruit of your land, and all your labors, shall a nation which you know not eat up; and you shall be only oppressed and crushed always:
౩౩మీకు తెలియని ప్రజలు మీ పొలం పంట, మీ కష్టార్జితమంతా తినివేస్తారు. మిమ్మల్ని ఎప్పుడూ బాధించి, అణచి ఉంచుతారు.
34 So that you shall be mad for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.
౩౪మీ కళ్ళ ముందు జరిగే వాటిని చూసి మీకు కలవరం పుడుతుంది.
35 The LORD shall smite you in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.
౩౫యెహోవా నీ అరకాలి నుంచి నడినెత్తి వరకూ మోకాళ్ల మీదా తొడల మీదా మానని కఠినమైన పుండ్లు పుట్టించి మిమ్మల్ని బాధిస్తాడు.
36 The LORD shall bring you, and your king which you shall set over you, to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known; and there shall you serve other gods, wood and stone.
౩౬యెహోవా మిమ్మల్నీ, మీ మీద నియమించుకునే మీ రాజునూ, మీరూ మీ పూర్వీకులూ ఎరగని వేరే దేశప్రజలకు అప్పగిస్తాడు. అక్కడ మీరు చెక్క ప్రతిమలను, రాతిదేవుళ్ళనూ పూజిస్తారు.
37 And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations where the LORD shall lead you.
౩౭యెహోవా మిమ్మల్ని చెదరగొట్టే ప్రజల్లో సామెతలు పుట్టడానికీ, నిందలకూ అస్పదం అవుతావు.
38 You shall carry much seed out into the field, and shall gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.
౩౮ఎక్కువ విత్తనాలు పొలంలో చల్లి కొంచెం పంట ఇంటికి తెచ్చుకుంటారు. ఎందుకంటే మిడతలు వాటిని తినివేస్తాయి.
39 You shall plant vineyards, and dress them, but shall neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.
౩౯ద్రాక్షతోటలను మీరు నాటి, వాటి బాగోగులు చూసుకుంటారు కానీ ఆ ద్రాక్షారసాన్ని తాగరు. ద్రాక్ష పండ్లు కొయ్యరు. ఎందుకంటే పురుగులు వాటిని తినేస్తాయి.
40 You shall have olive trees throughout all your coasts, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil; for your olive shall cast his fruit.
౪౦మీ ప్రాంతమంతా ఒలీవ చెట్లు ఉంటాయి కానీ ఆ నూనె తలకు రాసుకోరు. ఎందుకంటే మీ ఒలీవ కాయలు రాలిపోతాయి.
41 You shall beget sons and daughters, but you shall not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.
౪౧కొడుకులనూ కూతుర్లనూ కంటారు కానీ వారు మీదగ్గర ఉండరు. వారు బందీలుగా వెళ్లితారు.
42 All your trees and fruit of your land shall the locust consume.
౪౨మీ చెట్లూ, మీ పంట పొలాలూ మిడతల వశమైపోతాయి.
43 The stranger that is within you shall get up above you very high; and you shall come down very low.
౪౩మీ మధ్యనున్న పరదేశి మీకంటే ఉన్నత స్థాయికి ఎదుగుతాడు. మీరు అంతకంతకూ కిందిస్థాయికి దిగజారతారు.
44 He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him: he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.
౪౪అతడు మీకు అప్పిస్తాడు గానీ మీరు అతనికి అప్పివ్వలేరు. అతడు తలగా ఉంటాడు, మీరు తోకగా ఉంటారు.
45 Moreover all these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you, till you be destroyed; because you listened not to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you:
౪౫మీరు నాశనమయ్యేవరకూ ఈ శిక్షలన్నీ మీ మీదికి వచ్చి మిమ్మల్ని తరిమి పట్టుకుంటాయి. ఎందుకంటే మీ యెహోవా దేవుడు మీకాజ్ఞాపించిన ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలనూ, ఆయన చట్టాలనూ అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనేలా మీరు ఆయన మాట వినలేదు.
46 And they shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed for ever.
౪౬అవి ఎప్పటికీ మీ మీద, మీ సంతానం మీద సూచనలుగా, ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగించేవిగా ఉంటాయి.
47 Because you served not the LORD your God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
౪౭మీకు సమృద్ధిగా ఉన్నప్పుడు మీరు సంతోషంగా, హృదయపూర్వకంగా మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను ఆరాధించలేదు.
48 Therefore shall you serve your enemies which the LORD shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron on your neck, until he have destroyed you.
౪౮కాబట్టి యెహోవా మీ మీదికి రప్పించే మీ శత్రువులకు మీరు బానిసలవుతారు. ఆకలితో, దాహంతో, దిగంబరులుగా, పేదరికం అనుభవిస్తూ వారికి సేవ చేస్తారు. మీరు నాశనం అయ్యే వరకూ యెహోవా మీ మెడ మీద ఇనుపకాడి ఉంచుతాడు.
49 The LORD shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand;
౪౯దేవుడైన యెహోవా చాలా దూరంలో ఉన్న ఒక దేశం మీ మీదికి దండెత్తేలా చేస్తాడు. వారి భాష మీకు తెలియదు. గద్ద తన ఎర దగ్గరికి ఎగిరి వచ్చినట్టు వాళ్ళు వస్తారు.
50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young:
౫౦వాళ్ళు క్రూరత్వం నిండినవారై ముసలివాళ్ళను, పసి పిల్లలను కూడా తీవ్రంగా హింసిస్తారు.
51 And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle, and the fruit of your land, until you be destroyed: which also shall not leave you either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of your cows, or flocks of your sheep, until he have destroyed you.
౫౧మిమ్మల్ని నాశనం చేసే వరకూ మీ పశువులనూ మీ పొలాల పంటనూ దోచుకుంటారు. మీరు నాశనం అయ్యేంత వరకూ మీ ధాన్యం, ద్రాక్షారసం, నూనె, పశువుల మందలు, గొర్రె మేకమందలు మీకు మిగలకుండా చేస్తారు.
52 And he shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fenced walls come down, wherein you trusted, throughout all your land: and he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land, which the LORD your God has given you.
౫౨మీరు ఆశ్రయించే ఎత్తయిన కోట గోడలు కూలిపోయే వరకూ మీ దేశమంతా మీ పట్టణ ద్వారాల దగ్గర వారు మిమ్మల్ని ముట్టడిస్తారు. మీ యెహోవా దేవుడు మీకిచ్చిన మీ దేశమంతటిలో మీ పట్టణ గుమ్మాల దగ్గర మిమ్మల్ని ముట్టడిస్తారు.
53 And you shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters, which the LORD your God has given you, in the siege, and in the narrow place, with which your enemies shall distress you:
౫౩ఆ ముట్టడిలో మీ శత్రువులు మిమ్మల్ని పెట్టే బాధలు తాళలేక మీ సంతానాన్ని, అంటే మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిచ్చిన మీ కొడుకులను, కూతుళ్ళను చంపి, వాళ్ళ మాంసం మీరు తింటారు.
54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:
౫౪మీలో మృదు స్వభావి, సుకుమారత్వం గల వ్యక్తి కూడా తన సొంత పిల్లల మాంసాన్ని తింటాడు. వాటిలో కొంచెమైనా తన సోదరునికి గానీ, తన ప్రియమైన భార్యకుగానీ, తన మిగతా పిల్లలకు గానీ మిగల్చడు. వాళ్ళపై జాలి చూపడు.
55 So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he has nothing left him in the siege, and in the narrow place, with which your enemies shall distress you in all your gates.
౫౫ఎందుకంటే మీ శత్రువులు మీ గ్రామాలన్నిటిలో మిమ్మల్ని పెట్టే ఇబ్బందిలో ముట్టడిలో అతనికేమీ మిగలదు.
56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,
౫౬మీలో మృదువైన, అతి సుకుమారం కలిగిన స్త్రీ, సుకుమారంగా నేల మీద తన అరికాలు మోపలేని స్త్రీ కూడా తన కాళ్లమధ్యనుండి బయటకు వచ్చే పసికందును రహస్యంగా తింటుంది. వాటిలో కొంచెమైనా తనకిష్టమైన సొంత భర్తకూ తన కొడుకూ కూతురుకూ పెట్టదు.
57 And toward her young one that comes out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and narrow place, with which your enemy shall distress you in your gates.
౫౭వారిపట్ల దయ చూపించదు. ఎందుకంటే మీ శత్రువులు మీ గ్రామాలన్నిటిని ముట్టడించి మిమ్మల్ని దోచుకోవడం వల్ల, కడుపు నింపుకోవడానికి మీకేమీ మిగలదు.
58 If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
౫౮ఈ గ్రంథంలో రాసిన ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్ర సూత్రాలను పాటించి వాటి ప్రకారం ప్రవర్తించక, మీ యెహోవా దేవుని ఘనమైన నామానికి, భయభక్తులు కనపరచకపోతే
59 Then the LORD will make your plagues wonderful, and the plagues of your seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
౫౯యెహోవా మీకూ మీ సంతానానికీ దీర్ఘకాలం ఉండే, మానని భయంకరమైన రోగాలు, తెగుళ్ళు రప్పిస్తాడు.
60 Moreover he will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they shall stick to you.
౬౦మీకు భయం కలిగించే ఐగుప్తు రోగాలన్నీ మీమీదికి రప్పిస్తాడు. అవి మిమ్మల్ని వదిలిపోవు.
61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring on you, until you be destroyed.
౬౧మీరు నాశనం అయ్యే వరకూ ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్ర గ్రంథంలో రాయని ప్రతి రోగం, ప్రతి వ్యాధి ఆయన మీకు తెస్తాడు.
62 And you shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God.
౬౨మీరు మీ యెహోవా దేవుని మాట వినలేదు కాబట్టి, అంతకుముందు మీరు ఆకాశనక్షత్రాల్లాగా విస్తరించినప్పటికీ కొద్దిమందే మిగిలి ఉంటారు.
63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land where you go to possess it.
౬౩మీకు మేలు చేయడంలో, మిమ్మల్ని అభివృద్ది చేయడంలో మీ యెహోవా దేవుడు మీపట్ల ఎలా సంతోషించాడో అలాగే మిమ్మల్ని నాశనం చెయ్యడానికి, మిమ్మల్ని హతమార్చడానికి యెహోవా సంతోషిస్తాడు. మీరు స్వాధీనం చేసుకోడానికి ప్రవేశిస్తున్న దేశం నుంచి తొలగించి వేస్తాడు.
64 And the LORD shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even to the other; and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known, even wood and stone.
౬౪యెహోవా భూమి ఈ చివర నుంచి ఆ చివరి వరకూ అన్య దేశాల్లో మీరు చెదిరిపోయేలా చేస్తాడు. అక్కడ మీ పితరులు సేవించని చెక్కతో, రాయితో చేసిన అన్య దేవుళ్ళను కొలుస్తారు.
65 And among these nations shall you find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest: but the LORD shall give you there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
౬౫ఆ ప్రజల మధ్య మీకు నెమ్మది ఉండదు. నీ అరికాలికి విశ్రాంతి కలగదు. అక్కడ మీ గుండెలు అదిరేలా, కళ్ళు మసకబారేలా, మీ ప్రాణాలు కుంగిపోయేలా యెహోవా చేస్తాడు.
66 And your life shall hang in doubt before you; and you shall fear day and night, and shall have none assurance of your life:
౬౬చస్తామో, బతుకుతామో అన్నట్టుగా ఉంటారు. బతుకు మీద ఏమాత్రం ఆశ ఉండదు. పగలూ రాత్రి భయం భయంగా గడుపుతారు.
67 In the morning you shall say, Would God it were even! and at even you shall say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of your heart with which you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see.
౬౭రాత్రింబవళ్ళూ భయం భయంగా కాలం గడుపుతారు. మీ ప్రాణాలు నిలిచి ఉంటాయన్న నమ్మకం మీకు ఏమాత్రం ఉండదు. మీ హృదయాల్లో ఉన్న భయం వల్ల ఉదయం పూట ఎప్పుడు సాయంత్రం అవుతుందా అనీ, సాయంకాలం పూట ఎప్పుడు తెల్లవారుతుందా అని ఎదురు చూస్తుంటారు.
68 And the LORD shall bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spoke to you, You shall see it no more again: and there you shall be sold to your enemies for slaves and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
౬౮మీరు ఇకపై ఐగుప్తు చూడకూడదు అని నేను మీతో చెప్పిన మార్గంలోగుండా యెహోవా ఓడల మీద ఐగుప్తుకు మిమ్మల్ని మళ్ళీ రప్పిస్తాడు. మీరు అక్కడ దాసులుగా, దాసీలుగా మీ శత్రువులకు మిమ్మల్ని మీరే అమ్ముకోవాలని చూస్తారు కానీ మిమ్మల్ని కొనేవారెవ్వరూ ఉండరు.”
