Psalms 112

1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man, that feareth the Lord, and deliteth greatly in his commandements.

Благо човеку који се боји Господа, коме су веома омилеле заповести Његове.

2 His seede shall be mightie vpon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

Силно ће бити на земљи семе његово, род праведнички биће благословен.

3 Riches and treasures shalbe in his house, and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.

Обиље је и богатство у дому његовом, и правда његова траје довека.

4 Vnto the righteous ariseth light in darkenes: he is merciful and full of copassion and righteous.

У тами сјаје видело праведницима од доброг, милостивог и праведног.

5 A good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.

Благо ономе који је милостив и даје у зајам! Он ће дати тврђу речима својим на суду.

6 Surely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.

Јер неће посрнути довека, праведник ће се спомињати увек.

7 He will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.

Не боји се злог гласа; срце је његово стално, узда се у Господа.

8 His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

Утврђено је срце његово, неће се побојати, и видеће како падају непријатељи његови.

9 He hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.

Просипа, даје убогима; правда његова траје довека, рог се његов узвишује у слави.

10 The wicked shall see it and be angrie: he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Безбожник види, и једи се, шкргуће зубима својим, и сахне. Жеља ће безбожницима пропасти.
