Jeremiah 30
1 The worde, that came to Ieremiah from the Lord, saying,
૧યહોવાહ તરફથી જે વચન યર્મિયાની પાસે આવ્યું તે એ છે કે,
2 Thus speaketh the Lord God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the wordes, that I haue spoken vnto thee in a booke.
૨યહોવાહ, ઇઝરાયલના ઈશ્વર કહે છે કે; ‘મેં તને જે જે કહ્યું છે તે બધું એક પુસ્તકમાં લખી લે.
3 For loe, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that I wil bring againe the captiuitie of my people Israel and Iudah, saith the Lord: for I will restore them vnto the lande, that I gaue to their fathers, and they shall possesse it.
૩માટે જુઓ, જો એવો સમય આવી રહ્યો છે કે, ‘જ્યારે હું મારા લોકોનો એટલે ઇઝરાયલ અને યહૂદિયાનો બંદીવાસ ફેરવી નાખીશ. તેઓના પિતૃઓને જે ભૂમિ આપી હતી તેમાં હું તેઓને પાછા લાવીશ. તેઓ તેનું વતન પ્રાપ્ત કરશે. એવું યહોવાહ કહે છે.”
4 Againe, these are the wordes that the Lord spake concerning Israel, and concerning Iudah.
૪જે વચનો યહોવાહ ઇઝરાયલ અને યહૂદિયાના લોક વિષે કહે છે તે આ છે;
5 For thus saith the Lord, wee haue heard a terrible voyce, of feare and not of peace.
૫“તેથી યહોવાહ આ પ્રમાણે કહે છે; અમે કંપારી આવે એવો અવાજ સાંભળ્યો છે તે શાંતિનો નહિ પણ ભયનો અવાજ છે.
6 Demand now and beholde, if man trauayle with childe? wherefore doe I beholde euery man with his hands on his loynes as a woman in trauaile, and all faces are turned into a palenesse?
૬તમારી જાતને પૂછો કે શું કોઈ પુરુષને પ્રસવવેદના થાય? પ્રસૂતાની જેમ દરેક પુરુષને પોતાના હાથથી કમરે દાબતો મેં જોયો છે, એનું કારણ શું હશે? વળી બધાના ચહેરા કેમ ફિક્કા પડી ગયા છે?
7 Alas, for this day is great: none hath bene like it: it is euen the time of Iaakobs trouble, yet shall he be deliuered from it.
૭અરેરે! એ ભયંકર દિવસ આવી રહ્યો છે! એના જેવો દિવસ કદી ઊગ્યો નથી, તે તો યાકૂબના સંકટનો દિવસ છે. પણ તે તેમાંથી બચશે.
8 For in that day, sayth the Lord of hostes, I will breake his yoke from off thy necke, and breake thy bondes, and strangers shall no more serue themselues of him.
૮સૈન્યોના યહોવાહ કહે છે કે; ‘તે દિવસે હું તેઓની ગરદન ઉપરની ઝૂંસરી ભાંગી નાખીશ. અને તેઓનાં બંધન તોડી નાખીશ. પરદેશીઓ ફરી કદી એમની પાસે સેવા નહિ કરાવે.
9 But they shall serue the Lord their God, and Dauid their King, whom I will raise vp vnto them.
૯તેઓ પોતાના ઈશ્વર યહોવાહની સેવા કરશે. અને તેઓને માટે તેઓના રાજા તરીકે હું દાઉદને રાજા બનાવનાર છું. તેની સેવા તેઓ કરશે.
10 Therefore feare not, O my seruant Iaakob, saith the Lord, neither be afrayde, O Israel: for loe, I will deliuer thee from a farre countrey, and thy seede from the lande of their captiuitie, and Iaakob shall turne againe, and shalbe in rest and prosperitie and none shall make him afraide.
૧૦તેથી તમે, યાકૂબના વંશજો, મારા સેવકો ગભરાશો નહિ. એમ યહોવાહ કહે છે. હે ઇઝરાયલ તારે ભય રાખવાની જરૂર નથી. માટે જુઓ, હું તમને અને તમારા વંશજોને તમે જ્યાં બંદી છો તે દૂરના દેશમાંથી છોડાવી લાવીશ. યાકૂબ પાછો આવશે અને શાંતિપૂર્વક રહેવા પામશે; તે સુરક્ષિત હશે અને કોઈ તમને ડરાવશે નહિ,
11 For I am with thee, sayth the Lord, to saue thee: though I vtterly destroy all the nations where I haue scattered thee, yet will I not vtterly destroy thee, but I will correct thee by iudgement, and not vtterly cut thee off.
૧૧કેમ કે યહોવાહ કહે છે હું તમને બચાવવા સારુ તમારી સાથે છું’ અને તમને જે પ્રજાઓમાં મેં વિખેરી નાખ્યા છે તે લોકોનો પણ હું સંપૂર્ણ રીતે વિનાશ કરીશ. તોપણ હું તમારો વિનાશ કરીશ નહિ, હું તમને ન્યાયની રૂએ શિક્ષા કરીશ અને નિશ્ચે તને શિક્ષા કર્યા વગર જવા દઈશ નહિ.’
12 For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruising is incurable, and thy wound is dolorous.
૧૨યહોવાહ આ પ્રમાણે કહે છે કે; ‘તારો ઘા રૂઝાય એવો નથી; તારો ઘા જીવલેણ છે.
13 There is none to iudge thy cause, or to lay a plaister: there are no medicines, nor help for thee.
૧૩તમારા પક્ષમાં બોલવાવાળું અહીં કોઈ નથી; તમારા ઘાને સાજો કરવાનો કોઈ ઇલાજ નથી.
14 All thy louers haue forgotten thee: they seeke thee not: for I haue striken thee with the wound of an enemie, and with a sharpe chastisement for ye multitude of thine iniquities, because thy sinnes were increased.
૧૪તારા બધા પ્રેમીઓ તને ભૂલી ગયા છે. તેઓ તને શોધતા નથી. કેમ કે મેં તને શત્રુની જેમ ઘાયલ કર્યો છે. હા, નિર્દય માણસની જેમ મેં તને ઈજા પહોંચાડી છે. કેમ કે તારાં પાપ ઘણાં થવાને લીધે અને તારા અપરાધ વધી ગયા છે.
15 Why cryest thou for thine affliction? thy sorowe is incurable, for the multitude of thine iniquities: because thy sinnes were increased, I haue done these things vnto thee.
૧૫તારા ઘાને લીધે તું કેમ બૂમો પાડે છે? તારા ઘાનો કોઈ ઇલાજ નથી. તારા અપરાધો ઘણા થવાને લીધે તારા અપરાધો વધી ગયા જેને લીધે આ શિક્ષા કરવાની મને ફરજ પડી.
16 Therefore all they that deuoure thee, shall be deuoured, and all thine enemies euery one shall goe into captiuitie: and they that spoyle thee, shalbe spoyled, and all they that robbe thee, wil I giue to be robbed.
૧૬જેથી જેઓ તને ખાઈ જાય છે. તે સર્વને ખાઈ જવામાં આવશે. તારા બધા શત્રુઓ બંદીવાસમાં જશે. તારા પર જુલમ ગુજારનારાઓ જ જુલમનો ભોગ બનશે, તને લૂંટનારાઓ જ લૂંટાઈ જશે.
17 For I will restore health vnto thee, and I will heale thee of thy woundes, saith the Lord, because they called thee, The cast away, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
૧૭કેમ કે હું તને આરોગ્ય આપીશ; અને ‘તારા ઘાને રૂઝાવીશ, એમ યહોવાહ કહે છે. ‘કેમ કે તેઓએ તને કાઢી મૂકેલી કહી છે. વળી સિયોનની કોઈને ચિંતા નથી.”
18 Thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakobs tentes, and haue compassion on his dwelling places: and the citie shalbe builded vpon her owne heape, and the palace shall remaine after the maner thereof.
૧૮યહોવાહ કહે છે; “જુઓ, યાકૂબના વંશજોને બંદીવાસમાંથી મુકત કરાશે અને તેઓના ઘરો પર હું દયા કરીશ. અને નગરને પોતાની ટેકરી પર ફરી બાંધવામાં આવશે તથા રાજમહેલમાં રજવાડાની રીત મુજબ લોકો વસશે.
19 And out of them shall proceede thankesgiuing, and the voyce of them that are ioyous, and I will multiplie them, and they shall not bee fewe: I will also glorifie them, and they shall not be diminished.
૧૯અને તેઓમાં આભારસ્તુતિ તથા હર્ષ કરનારાઓનો અવાજ સંભળાશે. હું તેઓની વૃદ્ધિ કરીશ તેઓ ઓછા થશે નહિ; અને તેઓને મહાન તથા મહિમાવંત પ્રજા બનાવીશ.
20 Their children also shall be as afore time, and their congregation shall be established before me: and I will visite all that vexe them.
૨૦તેઓના લોકો પાછા પહેલાંના જેવા થશે; તેઓની સભા મારી નજર સમક્ષ સ્થાપિત થશે, અને જેઓ તેમનો ઉપદ્રવ કરે છે તેમને હું સજા કરીશ.
21 And their noble ruler shall be of themselues, and their gouernour shall proceede from the middes of them, and I will cause him to draw neere, and approche vnto me: for who is this that directeth his heart to come vnto mee, saith the Lord?
૨૧તેઓનો આગેવાન તેઓના પોતાનામાંથી જ થશે, તેઓમાંથી તેઓનો અધિકારી થશે જ્યારે હું તેને મારી પાસે લાવું ત્યારે તેઓ મારી પાસે આવશે. કેમ કે મારી પાસે આવવાની જેણે હિંમત ધરી છે તે કોણ છે?” એમ યહોવાહ કહે છે.
22 And ye shall be my people, and I will bee your God.
૨૨પછી તમે મારા લોક થશો અને હું તમારો ઈશ્વર થઈશ.
23 Beholde, the tempest of the Lord goeth foorth with wrath: the whirlewinde that hangeth ouer, shall light vpon the head of the wicked.
૨૩જુઓ યહોવાહનો ક્રોધ, તેમનો રોષ પ્રગટ્યો છે. તેમનો કોપ સળગી રહ્યો છે. વંટોળની માફક તે દુષ્ટોના માથે આવી પડશે.
24 The fierce wrath of the Lord shall not returne, vntill he haue done, and vntill he haue performed the intents of his heart: in the latter dayes ye shall vnderstand it.
૨૪યહોવાહની યોજના અમલમાં આવે છે. તેઓ સિદ્ધ કરે નહિ ત્યાં સુધી તેમનો ક્રોધ શાંત થાય તેમ નથી, ભવિષ્યમાં તે તમને સમજાશે.”
