2 Kings 9
1 Then Elisha the Prophet called one of ye children of the Prophets, and sayde vnto him, Gird thy loynes and take this boxe of oyle in thine hand and get thee to Ramoth Gilead.
Elisa aber, der Prophet, rief der Propheten Kinder einem und sprach zu ihm: Gürte deine Lenden und nimm diesen Ölkrug mit dir und gehe hin gen Ramoth in Gilead.
2 And when thou commest thither, looke where is Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat, the sonne of Nimshi, and go, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, and leade him to a secret chamber.
Und wenn du dahin kommst, wirst du daselbst sehen Jehu, den Sohn Josaphats, des Sohns Nimsis. Und gehe hinein und heiß ihn aufstehen unter seinen Brüdern und führe ihn in die innerste Kammer.
3 Then take the boxe of oyle and powre it on his head, and say, Thus sayth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel. then open the doore, and flee without any tarying.
Und nimm den Ölkrug und schütte es auf sein Haupt und sprich: So sagt der HERR: Ich habe dich zum Könige über Israel gesalbet. Und sollst die Tür auftun und fliehen und nicht verziehen.
4 So the seruat of ye Prophet gate him to Ramoth Gilead.
Und der Jüngling des Propheten, der Knabe, ging hin gen Ramoth in Gilead.
5 And when he came in, behold, the captaines of the armie were sitting. And he sayde, I haue a message to thee, O captaine. And Iehu sayd, Vnto which of all vs? And he answered, To thee, O captaine.
Und da er hineinkam, siehe, da saßen die Hauptleute des Heers. Und er sprach: Ich habe dir, Hauptmann, was zu sagen. Jehu sprach: Welchem unter uns allen? Er sprach: Dir, Hauptmann.
6 And he arose, and went into the house, and he powred the oyle on his head and sayde vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I haue anointed thee for King ouer the people of the Lord, euen ouer Israel.
Da stund er auf und ging hinein. Er aber schüttete das Öl auf sein Haupt und sprach zu ihm: So sagt der HERR, der Gott Israels: Ich habe dich zum Könige gesalbet über des HERRN Volk Israel.
7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may auenge the blood of my seruants the Prophets, and the blood of al the seruants of the Lord of the hand of Iezebel.
Und du sollst das Haus Ahabs, deines HERRN, schlagen, daß ich das Blut der Propheten, meiner Knechte, und das Blut aller Knechte des HERRN räche von der Hand Isebels,
8 For the whole house of Ahab shalbe destroied: and I will cut off from Ahab, him that maketh water against the wall, as well him that is shut vp, as him that is left in Israel.
daß das ganze Haus Ahabs umkomme. Und ich will von Ahab ausrotten den, der an die Wand pisset, und den Verschlossenen und Verlassenen in Israel.
9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the sonne of Ahiiah.
Und will das Haus Ahabs machen wie das Haus Jerobeams, des Sohns Nebats, und wie das Haus Baesas, des Sohns Ahias.
10 And the dogges shall eate Iezebel in the fielde of Izreel, and there shalbe none to burie her. And he opened the doore, and fled.
Und die Hunde sollen Isebel fressen auf dem Acker zu Jesreel, und soll sie niemand begraben. Und er tat die Tür auf und floh.
11 Then Iehu came out to the seruants of his lord. And one sayd vnto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellowe to thee? And hee sayde vnto them, Ye knowe the man, and what his talke was.
Und da Jehu herausging zu den Knechten seines HERRN, sprach man zu ihm: Stehet es wohl? Warum ist dieser Rasende zu dir kommen? Er sprach zu ihnen: Ihr kennet doch den Mann wohl, und was er sagt.
12 And they sayde, It is false, tell vs it nowe. Then he sayd, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saieth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel.
Sie sprachen: Das ist nicht wahr; sage es uns aber an. Er sprach: So und so hat er mit mir geredet und gesagt: So spricht der HERR: Ich habe dich zum Könige über Israel gesalbet.
13 Then they made haste, and tooke euerie man his garment, and put it vnder him on the top of the staires, and blewe the trumpet, saying, Iehu is King.
Da eileten sie, und nahm ein jeglicher sein Kleid und legte es unter ihn auf die hohen Stufen, und bliesen mit der Posaune und sprachen: Jehu ist König worden!
14 So Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat the sonne of Nimshi conspired against Ioram: (Now Ioram kept Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael King of Aram.
Also machte Jehu, der Sohn Josaphats, des Sohns Nimsis, einen Bund wider Joram. Joram aber lag vor Ramoth in Gilead mit dem ganzen Israel wider Hasael, den König zu Syrien.
15 And King Ioram returned to bee healed in Izreel of the woundes, which the Aramites had giuen him, when hee fought with Hazael King of Aram) and Iehu sayde, If it be your mindes, let no man depart and escape out of the citie, to goe and tell in Izreel.
Joram aber, der König, war wiederkommen, daß er sich heilen ließe zu Jesreel von den Schlägen, die ihm die Syrer geschlagen hatten, da er stritt mit Hasael dem Könige zu Syrien. Und Jehu sprach: Ist's euer Gemüt, so soll niemand entrinnen aus der Stadt, daß er hingehe und ansage zu Jesreel.
16 So Iehu gate vp into a charet, and went to Izreel: for Ioram lay there, and Ahaziah King of Iudah was come downe to see Ioram.
Und er ließ sich führen und zog gen Jesreel, denn Joram lag daselbst; so war Ahasja, der König Judas, hinabgezogen, Joram zu besehen.
17 And the watchman that stoode in the towre in Izreel spyed the companie of Iehu as hee came, and sayd, I see a companie. And Iehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meete them, that hee may say, Is it peace?
Der Wächter aber, der auf dem Turm zu Jesreel stund, sah den Haufen Jehus kommen und sprach: Ich sehe einen Haufen. Da sprach Joram: Nimm einen Reiter und sende ihnen entgegen und sprich: Ist's Friede?
18 So there went one on horseback to meete him, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu sayd, What hast thou to do with peace? Turne behinde me. And the watchman tolde, saying, The messenger came to them, but he commeth not againe.
Und der Reiter ritt hin ihm entgegen und sprach: So sagt der König: Ist's Friede? Jehu sprach: Was gehet dich der Friede an? Wende dich hinter mich! Der Wächter verkündigte und sprach: Der Bote ist zu ihnen kommen und kommt nicht wieder.
19 Then hee sent out another on horsebacke, which came to them, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu answered, What hast thou to doe with peace? turne behinde me.
Da sandte er einen andern Reiter. Da der zu ihm kam, sprach er: So spricht der König: Ist's Friede? Jehu sprach: Was gehet dich der Friede an? Wende dich hinter mich!
20 And the watchman tolde, saying, He came to them also, but commeth not againe, and the marching is like the marching of Iehu the sonne of Nimshi: for he marcheth furiously.
Das verkündigte der Wächter und sprach: Er ist zu ihnen kommen und kommt nicht wieder. Und es ist ein Treiben, wie das Treiben Jehus, des Sohns Nimsis; denn er treibt, wie er unsinnig wäre.
21 Then Iehoram sayd, Make ready: and his charet was made ready. And Iehoram King of Israel and Ahaziah King of Iudah went out eyther of them in his charet against Iehu, and met him in the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite.
Da sprach Joram: Spannet an! Und man spannete seinen Wagen an; und sie zogen aus, Joram, der König Israels, und Ahasja, der König Judas, ein jeglicher auf seinem Wagen, daß sie Jehu entgegenkämen; und sie trafen ihn an auf dem Acker Naboths, des Jesreeliten.
22 And when Iehoram sawe Iehu, he sayde, Is it peace, Iehu? And he answered, What peace? whiles the whoredomes of thy mother Iezebel, and her witchcraftes are yet in great nomber?
Und da Joram Jehu sah, sprach er: Jehu, ist's Friede? Er aber sprach: Was Friede? Deiner Mutter Isebel Hurerei und Zauberei wird immer größer.
23 Then Iehoram turned his hand, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, O Ahaziah, there is treason.
Da wandte Joram seine Hand und floh und sprach zu Ahasja: Es ist Verräterei, Ahasja!
24 But Iehu tooke a bowe in his hande, and smote Iehoram betweene the shoulders, that the arowe went through his heart: and he fell downe in his charet.
Aber Jehu fassete den Bogen und schoß Joram zwischen die Arme, daß der Pfeil durch sein Herz ausfuhr; und fiel in seinen Wagen.
25 Then said Iehu to Bidkar a captaine, Take, and cast him in some place of the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite: for I remember that when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the Lord layed this burden vpon him.
Und er sprach zum Ritter Bidekar: Nimm und wirf ihn aufs Stück Acker Naboths, des Jesreeliten. Denn ich gedenke, daß du mit mir auf einem Wagen seinem Vater Ahab nachfuhrest, daß der HERR solche Last über ihn hub.
26 Surely I haue seene yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sonnes, saide the Lord, and I will render it thee in this fielde, saith the Lord: nowe therefore take and cast him in the fielde, according to the word of the Lord.
Was gilt's, sprach der HERR, ich will dir das Blut Naboths und seiner Kinder, das ich gestern sah, vergelten auf diesem Acker. So nimm nun und wirf ihn auf den Acker nach dem Wort des HERRN.
27 But when Ahaziah the King of Iudah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house: And Iehu pursued after him, and sayd, Smite him also in the charet: and they smote him in the going vp to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And hee fled to Megiddo, and there dyed.
Da das Ahasja, der König Judas, sah, floh er des Weges zum Hause des Gartens. Jehu aber jagte ihm nach und hieß ihn auch schlagen auf dem Wagen gen Gur hinan, die bei Jeblaam liegt. Und er floh gen Megiddo und starb daselbst.
28 And his seruants caried him in a charet to Ierusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the citie of Dauid.
Und seine Knechte ließen ihn führen gen Jerusalem und begruben ihn in seinem Grabe mit seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids.
29 And in the eleuenth yere of Ioram the sonne of Ahab, began Ahaziah to reigne ouer Iudah.
Ahasja aber regierete über Juda im elften Jahr Jorams, des Sohns Ahabs.
30 And when Iehu was come to Izreel, Iezebel heard of it, and painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a windowe.
Und da Jehu gen Jesreel kam, und Isebel das erfuhr, schminkte sie ihr Angesicht und schmückte ihr Haupt und guckte zum Fenster aus.
31 And as Iehu entred at the gate, shee sayde, Had Zimri peace, which slewe his master?
Und da Jehu unter das Tor kam, sprach sie: Ist's Simri wohl gegangen, der seinen HERRN erwürgete?
32 And he lift vp his eyes to the windowe, and sayd, Who is on my side, who? Then two or three of her Eunuches looked vnto him.
Und er hub sein Angesicht auf zum Fenster und sprach: Wer ist bei mir hie? Da wandten sich zween oder drei Kämmerer zu ihm.
33 And he sayde, Cast her downe: and they cast her downe, and hee sprinkled of her blood vpon the wall, and vpon the horses, and he trode her vnder foote.
Er sprach: Stürzet sie herab! Und sie stürzten sie herab, daß die Wand und die Rosse mit ihrem Blut besprenget wurden; und sie ward zertreten.
34 And when he was come in, he did eate and drinke, and sayde, Visite now yonder cursed woman, and burie her: for she is a Kings daughter.
Und da er hineinkam und gegessen und getrunken hatte, sprach er: Besehet doch die Verfluchte und begrabet sie; denn sie ist eines Königs Tochter.
35 And they went to burie her, but they foud no more of her, then the skull and the feete, and the palmes of her handes.
Da sie aber hingingen, sie zu begraben, fanden sie nichts von ihr denn den Schädel und Füße und ihre flachen Hände.
36 Wherefore they came agayne and tolde him. And he said, This is the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruant Eliiah the Tishbite, saying, In the fielde of Izreel shall ye dogs eate the flesh of Iezebel.
Und kamen wieder und sagten's ihm an. Er aber sprach: Es ist's, das der HERR geredet hat durch seinen Knecht Elia, den Thisbiten, und gesagt: Auf dem Acker Jesreels sollen die Hunde der Isebel Fleisch fressen.
37 And the carkeis of Iezebel shalbe as doung vpon the ground in the field of Izreel, so that none shall say, This is Iezebel.
Also war das Aas Isebels wie Kot auf dem Felde im Acker Jesreels, daß man nicht sagen konnte: Das ist Isebel.
