< Psalms 75 >

1 For the music director. A psalm of Asaph. According to “Do Not Destroy.” A song. We thank you, God, we thank you because you are close beside us. People tell about the wonderful things you have done.
Asafa dziesma, dziedātāju vadonim, dziedama, pēc: „nesamaitā!“Mēs Tev pateicamies, Dievs, mēs pateicamies, ka Tavs vārds ir it tuvu; Tavi brīnumi top slavēti.
2 God says, “When the time I have decided comes, I will judge fairly.
„Kad Es īsto laiku pratīšu, tad Es it taisni tiesāšu.
3 When the earth quakes, and all its inhabitants tremble, I am the one who holds it steady. (Selah)
Zeme un visi viņas iedzīvotāji trīc, bet Es viņas pīlārus esmu stiprinājis.“(Sela.)
4 To those who boast I say, ‘Don't boast!’ I tell the wicked, ‘Don't be proud!’
Es sacīju uz tiem lielīgiem: nelielāties; un uz tiem bezdievīgiem: nelepojaties ar varu;
5 No, don't be proud and arrogant, insulting heaven.”
Nelielāties ar varu, un nerunājiet tik pārgalvīgi.
6 For no one, from the east to the west, or from the wilderness, should think so highly of themselves.
Ka (nekāds palīgs nenāks) nedz no rīta puses, nedz no vakara puses, nedz no tuksneša kalniem.
7 God is the one who decides—who he will bring down and who he will lift up.
Bet Dievs ir soģis, kas citu pazemo un citu paaugstina.
8 For the Lord has a cup in his hand, full of bubbling wine mixed with spices. He pours it out, and all the wicked drink it deeply, down to the last drop.
Jo Tam Kungam biķeris ir rokā, kur stiprs vīns papilnam iejaukts, un Viņš dod no tā dzert; bet visiem bezdievīgiem virs zemes būs dzert un izsūkt tās mieles.
9 But I will speak about you forever. I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Bet es to pasludināšu mūžīgi, es dziedāšu Jēkaba Dievam,
10 For God says, “I will break the power of the wicked; but I will give my support to those who do what is good.”
Un salauzīšu visiem bezdievīgiem galvas, ka taisniem galvas top paaugstinātas.
