Joshua 21
1 The leaders of the tribe of Levi approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the leaders of the Israelite tribes.
၁လေဝိသား အဆွေအမျိုးသူကြီးတို့သည်၊ ယဇ်ပု ရောဟိတ်ဧလာဇာ၊ နုန်၏သားယောရှု၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး တို့တွင် အဆွေအမျိုးသူကြီးတို့ထံသို့ ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊
2 They spoke to them at Shiloh in Canaan, saying, “The Lord gave instructions through Moses to give us towns to live in, and pastures for our flocks.”
၂အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ နေစရာဘို့ မြို့တို့ကို၎င်း၊ တိရစ္ဆာန် များတို့မြို့နယ်တို့ကို၎င်း ပေးစေခြင်းငှါ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မောရှေအားဖြင့် မှာထားတော်မူပြီဟု ခါနာန်ပြည်၊ ရှိလောမြို့၌ ပြောဆိုကြလျှင်၊
3 So, following the Lord's instructions, the Israelites gave towns and pastures to the Levites from their own allocations.
၃ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ မိမိတို့အမွေခံရသော မြေထဲ က၊ မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်တို့ကို ပေးကြ၏။
4 The lot was cast for the families of the Kothaites. These Levites, descendants of Aaron, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
၄စာရေးတံပြု၍ ကောဟတ်အဆွေအမျိုးတို့သည် အမွေခံရာတွင်၊ လေဝိသား ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အာရုန်၏ သားမြေးတို့သည် စာရေးတံပြုသောအားဖြင့်၊ ယုဒခရိုင်၊ ရှိမောင်ခရိုင်၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန်ခရိုင်ထဲက ဆယ်သုံးမြို့ကို ရကြ၏။
5 The remaining families of the descendants of Kothah were allotted ten towns from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
၅ကြွင်းသော ကောဟတ်သားတို့သည် ဧဖရိမ် ခရိုင်၊ ဒန်ခရိုင်၊ မနာရှေခရိုင် ဝက်ထဲက ဆယ်မြို့ကို ရကြ၏။
6 The families of the descendants of Gershon were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the half-tribe of Manasseh living in Bashan.
၆ဂေရရှုံသားတို့သည် စာရေးတံပြုသောအားဖြင့်၊ ဣသခါခရိုင်၊ အာရှာခရိုင်၊ နဿလိခရိုင်၊ ဗာရှန်ပြည်၌ မနာရှေခရိုင်ဝက်ထဲက၊ ဆယ်သုံးမြို့ကို ရကြ၏။
7 The families of the descendants of Merari were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.
၇မေရာရိသားတို့သည် အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် ရုဗင်ခရိုင်၊ ဂဒ်ခရိုင်၊ ဇာဗုလုန်ခရိုင်ထဲက၊ ဆယ်နှစ်မြို့ကို ရကြ၏။
8 So the Israelites gave the Levites by lot these towns and pastures, as the Lord had instructed through Moses.
၈ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မောရှေအားဖြင့် မှာထား တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် စာရေးတံပြု၍ ထိုမြို့တို့ကို မြို့နယ်နှင့်တကွ လေဝိသား တို့အား ပေးကြ၏။
9 They gave from the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Simeon the following towns, specifically named,
၉ယုဒအမျိုးသားခရိုင်၊ ရှိမောင်အမျိုးသားခရိုင်ထဲ က ပေး၍ လေဝိသားဖြစ်သော ကောဟတ်အဆွေအမျိုး၊
10 to the families of the Kothaites, descendants of Aaron, of the tribe of Levi, since the first lot fell to them:
၁၀အာရုန်၏သားမြေးတို့သည် ပဌမစာရေးတံ အားဖြင့်ရသော မြို့တို့၏ အမည်များဟူမူကား၊
11 Kiriath-arba (or Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, together with the pastures around it. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)

12 But the more distant fields from the town and the villages had been given to Caleb son of Jephunneh to own.

13 They gave to the descendants of Aaron the priest the following towns and their pastures: Hebron (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Libnah,

14 Jattir, Eshtemoa,

15 Holon, Debir,

16 Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine towns from these two tribes.

17 From the tribe of Benjamin the following four towns and their pastures: Gibeon, Geba,

18 Anathoth, and Almon.

19 So in total thirteen towns and their pastures were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron.
၁၉အာရုန်၏သားမြေး ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့ရသော မြို့ပေါင်းကား၊ မြို့နယ်ပါသောမြို့ ဆယ်သုံးမြို့ရှိသတည်း။
20 As for the remaining families of the children of Kothah from the tribe of Levi, they were given by lot four towns and their pastures from the tribe of Ephraim:
၂၀ကြွင်းသောကောဟတ်သား အဆွေအမျိုးဖြစ် သော လေဝိသားတို့သည် စာရေးတံပြု၍ ဧဖရိမ်ခရိုင်ထဲ က ရသည်အတိုင်း၊
21 Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Gezer,
၂၁လူအသက်ကို သတ်မိသောသူမှီခိုရာမြို့ ဖြစ်စေ ခြင်းငှါ၊ ဧဖရိမ်တောင်ပေါ်မှာ ရှေခင်မြို့ကို မြို့နယ်နှင့် တကွ ပေးကြ၏။
22 Kibzaim, and Beth-horon.
၂၂ထိုမှတပါး ဂေဇာမြို့နှင့်မြို့နယ်၊ ကိဗဇိမ်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ဗေသောရုန်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်တည်းဟူသော လေး မြို့တို့ကို၎င်း၊
23 From the tribe of Dan, the following four towns and their pastures: Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
၂၃ဒန်ခရိုင်ထဲက ဧလတေကမြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ဂိဗ္ဗိ သုန်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊
24 Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon.

25 From the half-tribe of Manasseh the following two towns and their pastures: Taanach and Gath-rimmon.
၂၅မနာရှေခရိုင်ဝက်ထဲက တာနက်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ဂါသရိမ္မုန်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်တည်းဟူသော နှစ်မြို့တို့ကို၎င်း ပေးကြ၏။
26 So in total ten towns and their pastures were given to remaining families of the descendants of Kothah.
၂၆ကြွင်းသော ကောဟတ်သားအဆွေအမျိုးတို့ သည် ရသောမြို့နယ်နှင့်တကွ မြို့ပေါင်းကား ဆယ်မြို့ တည်း။
27 The families of the descendants of Gershon from the tribe of Levi received the following two towns and their pastures from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), and Be-eshterah.
၂၇လေဝိအဆွေအမျိုး၊ ဂေရရှုံသားတို့အားလည်း၊ မနာရှေခရိုင်ဝက်ထဲက လူအသက်ကို သတ်မိသောသူ မှီခိုရာမြို့၊ ဗာရှန်ပြည်၌ ဂေါလန်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ဗေရှတေ ရမြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်တည်းဟူသော နှစ်မြို့တို့ကို၎င်း၊
28 From the tribe of Issachar the following four towns and their pastures: Kishion, Daberath,

29 Jarmuth, and En-gannim.

30 From the tribe of Asher the following four towns and their pastures: Mishal, Abdon,

31 Helkath, and Rehob.

32 From the tribe of Naphtali the following three towns and their pastures: Kedesh in Galilee (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan.
၃၂နဿလိခရိုင်ထဲက၊ လူအသက်ကို သတ်မိသော သူမှီခိုရာမြို့၊ ဂါလိလဲပြည်၌ ကေဒေရှမြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ဟမ္မုဒ္ဒေါမြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ကာတံမြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်တည်းဟူ သော သုံးမြို့တို့ကို၎င်း ပေးကြ၏။
33 So in total thirteen towns and their pastures were allotted to the families of Gershon.
၃၃ဂေရရှုံသားတို့သည်၊ အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက်ရ သော မြို့နယ်နှင့်တကွ မြို့ပေါင်းကား ဆယ်သုံးမြို့တည်း။
34 The families of the descendants of Merari, those remaining from the tribe of Levi, received the following four towns and their pastures from the tribe of Zebulun: Jokneam, Kartah,
၃၄ကြွင်းသော လေဝိသား၊ မေရာရိအဆွေအမျိုးတို့ အား ဇာဗုလုန်ခရိုင်ထဲက ယောကနံမြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ကာတမြို့နှင့်မြို့နယ်၊
35 Dimnah, and Nahalal.

36 From the tribe of Reuben the following four towns and their pastures: Bezer, Jahaz,

37 Kedemoth, and Mephaath.

38 From the tribe of Gad the following four towns and their pastures: Ramoth in Gilead (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Mahanaim,
၃၈ဂဒ်ခရိုင်ထဲက၊ လူအသက်ကို သတ်မိသောသူမှီ ခိုရာမြို့၊ ဂိလဒ်ပြည်၌ ရာမုတ်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ မဟာနိမ်မြို့ နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊
39 Heshbon, and Jazer.
၃၉ဟေရှဘုန်မြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ်၊ ယာဇာမြို့နှင့် မြို့နယ် တည်းဟူသော လေးမြို့တို့ကို၎င်း ပေးကြ၏။
40 So in total twelve towns were allotted to the families of Merari, those remaining from the tribe of Levi.
၄၀ကြွင်းသောလေဝိအဆွေအမျိုး မေရာရိသားတို့ သည် စာရေးတံပြု၍ အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက်ရသော မြို့ နယ်နှင့်တကွ မြို့ပေါင်းကား ဆယ်နှစ်မြို့တည်း။
41 The Levites received a total of forty-eight towns and pastures within the land of the Israelites.
၄၁ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားနေရာ နိုင်ငံအဝင်၊ လေဝိသားနေသော မြို့ပေါင်းကား၊ မြို့နယ်နှင့်တကွ လေးဆယ်ရှစ်မြို့တည်း။
42 Each of these towns had pastures around them.
၄၂ထိုမြို့ရှိသမျှတို့သည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နယ်နှင့် ပြည့် စုံလျက်ရှိသတည်း။
43 And so the Lord gave to the Israelites all the land he had promised their ancestors. They took possession of it and settled there.
၄၃ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ ငါပေးမည်ဟု ဘိုးဘေး တို့အား ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူသော ပြည်ရှိသမျှကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့အား ပေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည် သိမ်းယူ ၍ နေရာကျကြ၏။
44 The Lord gave them peace on every side as he had promised their ancestors. Not a single one of their enemies could stand against them, for the Lord had handed their enemies over to them to defeat.
၄၄ဘိုးဘေးတို့အား ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူသမျှအတိုင်း၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အရပ်တို့၌ ငြိမ်ဝပ်ရာအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူ သဖြင့်၊ သူတို့ရှေ့မှာ အဘယ်ရန်သူမျှမရပ်နိုင်။ ရန်သူ အပေါင်းတို့ကို သူတို့လက်သို့ အပ်တော်မူ၏။
45 Not a single one of the good things the Lord promised Israel had failed; everything had come true.
၄၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးအဘို့ မိန့်တော်မူသော ကောင်းကျိုးတစုံတပါးမျှမလျော့၊ ရှိသမျှ တို့သည် ပြည့်စုံကြ၏။
