< Genesis 22 >

1 Sometime later God tested Abraham. He called out to him, “Abraham!” “I'm here,” Abraham replied.
Bayan abubuwan nan suka faru, sai Allah ya gwada Ibrahim. Ya ce masa, “Ibrahim!” Ibrahim ya amsa ya ce, “Ga ni.”
2 God told him, “Go with your son, the one you love, your only son, to the land of Moriah and sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains that I'll show you.”
Sai Allah ya ce, “Ka ɗauki ɗanka, makaɗaicin ɗanka Ishaku, wanda kake ƙauna, ka tafi yankin Moriya, ka miƙa shi hadaya ta ƙonawa a can a kan ɗaya daga cikin duwatsun da zan nuna maka.”
3 Abraham got up early in the morning and saddled up his donkey. He took two servants and Isaac with him and went to cut firewood for the burnt offering. Then he left with them to go to the place God had told him about.
Kashegari da sassafe, Ibrahim ya tashi ya ɗaura wa jakinsa sirdi. Ya ɗauki bayinsa biyu, da ɗansa Ishaku. Bayan ya faskare isashen itace saboda hadaya ta ƙonawa sai ya kama hanya zuwa wurin da Allah ya faɗa masa.
4 After traveling for three days Abraham could see the place in the distance.
A rana ta uku Ibrahim ya ɗaga ido sai ya ga wurin daga nesa.
5 He told his servants, “Wait here with the donkey while I go with the boy and worship God. Then we'll return.”
Ibrahim ya ce wa bayinsa, “Ku tsaya a nan da jakin, ni da yaron kuwa mu haura can. Za mu yi sujada sa’an nan mu komo wurinku.”
6 Abraham had Isaac carry the wood for the burnt offering, while he carried the fire and the knife, and they walked up together.
Ibrahim ya ɗauki itace saboda hadaya ta ƙonawa ya ɗora wa ɗansa Ishaku, shi kuwa ya riƙe wuƙa da wutar. Yayinda su biyun suke tafiya,
7 Isaac said to Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “Well, we have the fire and the wood, but where's the lamb for the burnt offering?” Isaac asked.
sai Ishaku ya yi tambaya, ya ce wa mahaifinsa Ibrahim, “Baba?” Ibrahim ya ce masa, “Na’am ɗana!” Ishaku ya ce, “Ga dai wuta, ga kuma itace, amma ina ɗan ragon hadaya ta ƙonawa?”
8 “God will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham replied, and they went on walking up together.
Ibrahim ya amsa ya ce, “Ɗana, Allah kansa zai tanada ɗan ragon hadayar ƙonawa.” Sai su biyu suka ci gaba da tafiya.
9 When they arrived at the place where God had told him to go, Abraham built an altar and placed the wood on it. Then he bound his son Isaac and placed him on the altar on top of the wood.
Sa’ad da suka isa wurin da Allah ya faɗa masa, sai Ibrahim ya gina bagade a can, ya kuma shisshirya itacen a kai. Ya ɗaura ɗansa Ishaku, ya kwantar da shi a kan itacen, a bisa bagaden.
10 Abraham picked up the knife, ready to slaughter his son.
Sa’an nan Ibrahim ya miƙa hannunsa ya ɗauki wuƙar don yă yanka ɗansa.
11 But the angel of the Lord shouted to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Yes, I'm here,” he replied.
Amma mala’ikan Ubangiji ya kira shi daga sama ya ce, “Ibrahim, Ibrahim!” Sai Ibrahim ya amsa ya ce, “Ga ni.”
12 The angel said, “Don't touch the boy! Don't do anything to him, because now I know that you truly do what God tells you. You didn't refuse to give me your son, your only son.”
Mala’ikan ya ce, “Kada ka yi wa yaron nan rauni. Kada kuma ka ji masa ciwo. Yanzu na san cewa kana tsoron Allah, gama ba ka hana ni ɗanka, makaɗaicin ɗanka ba.”
13 Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in some bushes. He brought the ram over and sacrificed it as a burnt offering in place of his son.
Ibrahim ya ɗaga ido, ya duba, sai ya ga rago da ƙahoninsa a kafe a wani ɗan kurmi. Sai Ibrahim ya tafi ya kamo ragon ya miƙa shi hadaya ta ƙonawa a maimakon ɗansa.
14 Abraham called the place “The Lord will Provide.” That's still a saying people use today: “the Lord will provide on his mountain.”
Ibrahim kuwa ya ba wa wurin suna, Ubangiji Zai Tanada. Gama kamar yadda ake ce har yă zuwa yau, “A bisan dutsen Ubangiji, za a tanada.”
15 The angel of the Lord shouted again to Abraham from heaven,
Mala’ikan Ubangiji ya kira Ibrahim daga sama sau na biyu
16 “I swear by myself, says the Lord, that because you have done this and didn't refuse to give me your son, your only son,
ya ce, “Na rantse da kaina, in ji Ubangiji, domin ka yi wannan, ba ka kuwa hana ni ɗanka, makaɗaicin ɗanka ba,
17 you can be sure that I will bless you and give you many descendants. They will be as numerous as the stars of heaven and the sand of the seashore, and they will conquer their enemies.
tabbatacce zan albarkace ka, zan kuma sa zuriyarka su yi yawa kamar taurari a sararin sama, kamar kuma yashi a bakin teku. Zuriyarka za su mallaki biranen abokan gābansu,
18 All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your descendants because you did what I told you.”
ta wurin zuriyarka kuma dukan al’umman duniya za su sami albarka, domin ka yi mini biyayya.”
19 Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they went back together to Beersheba where Abraham was living.
Sa’an nan Ibrahim ya koma wurin bayinsa, suka kuma kama hanya tare zuwa Beyersheba. Ibrahim kuwa ya yi zamansa a Beyersheba.
20 Sometime later, Abraham was told, “Milcah has had sons for your brother Nahor.”
Bayan wani ɗan lokaci, sai aka faɗa wa Ibrahim cewa, “Ga shi, Milka ita ma ta haifa wa Nahor ɗan’uwanka,’ya’ya maza;
21 Uz was the firstborn, then his brother Buz, Kemuel (who became the ancestor of Arameans),
ɗan fari shi ne Uz, ɗan’uwansa kuma Buz, Kemuwel (shi ne mahaifin Aram),
22 Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.
Kesed, Hazo, Fildash; Yidlaf, da kuma Betuwel.”
23 (Bethuel was Rebekah's father.) Milcah had these eight sons for Abraham's brother Nahor.
Betuwel ya haifi Rebeka. Milka ta haifa wa Nahor ɗan’uwan Ibrahim waɗannan’ya’ya maza takwas.
24 In addition, Reumah his concubine had Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.
Ban da haka ma, ƙwarƙwararsa, mai suna Reyuma, ta haifa masa’ya’ya maza, Teba, Gaham, Tahash da kuma Ma’aka.
