Psalms 112

1 Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord: he shall delight exceedingly in his commandments.

૧યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો. જે યહોવાહને માન આપે છે, જે તેમની આજ્ઞાઓ પાળવામાં ખુશ થાય છે, તેઓ આશીર્વાદિત છે.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

૨તેના વંશજો પૃથ્વી પર બળવાન થશે; ઈશ્વરના લોકો આશીર્વાદ પામશે.

3 Glory and wealth shall be in his house: and his justice remaineth for ever and ever.

૩તેઓના ઘરમાં ધનદોલતની વૃદ્ધિ થશે; તેઓનું ન્યાયીપણું સદાકાળ ટકશે.

4 To the righteous a light is risen up in darkness: he is merciful, and compassionate and just.

૪ઈશ્વરના લોકો માટે અંધકારમાં પ્રકાશ પ્રગટ થાય છે; તેઓ કૃપાળુ, દયાળુ અને ન્યાયી છે.

5 Acceptable is the man that showeth mercy and lendeth: he shall order his words with judgment:

૫જે માણસ કૃપા રાખીને આપે છે, તે પોતાના કામમાં પ્રામાણિકપણે ચાલશે.

6 Because he shall not be moved for ever.

૬કેમ કે તે કદી પડશે નહિ; ન્યાયી માણસનું સ્મરણ સર્વકાળ રહેશે.

7 The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not hear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord:

૭તે ખરાબ સમાચારથી ગભરાતો નથી; તેને યહોવાહમાં આત્મવિશ્વાસ અને ભરોસો હોય છે.

8 His heart is strengthened, he shall not be moved until he look over his enemies.

૮તેનું હૃદય શાંત છે, તે પોતાના શત્રુઓ પર વિજય મેળવતા સુધી ગભરાશે નહિ.

9 He hath distributed, he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for ever and ever: his horn shall be exalted in glory.

૯તેણે ઉદારતાથી ગરીબોને આપ્યું છે; તેનું ન્યાયીપણું સર્વકાળ ટકે છે; તેને માન સહિત ઊંચો કરવામાં આવશે.

10 The wicked shall see, and shall be angry, he shall gnash with his teeth and pine away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

૧૦દુષ્ટો આ જોઈને ગુસ્સે થશે; તેઓ પોતાના દાંત પીસશે અને ઓગળી જશે; દુષ્ટોની યોજનાઓ નિષ્ફળ જશે.
