Ezekiel 26

1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

൧ബാബിലോന്യ പ്രവാസത്തിന്റെ പതിനൊന്നാം ആണ്ട് ഒന്നാം തീയതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:

2 Son of man, because Tyre hath said of Jerusalem: Aha, the gates of the people are broken, she is turned to me: I shall be filled, now she is laid waste.

൨“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യെരൂശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ച്: ‘നന്നായി, ജനതകളുടെ വാതിലായിരുന്നവൾ തകർന്നുപോയി; അവൾ എന്നിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൾ ശൂന്യമായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുകയാൽ ഞാൻ നിറയും’ എന്ന് സോർ പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്

3 Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold I come against thee, O Tyre, and I will cause many nations to come up to thee, as the waves of the sea rise up.

൩യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സോരേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രം തന്റെ തിരകളെ കയറിവരുമാറാക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അനേകം ജനതകളെ നിന്റെനേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരുമാറാക്കും.

4 And they shall break down the walls of Tyre, and destroy the towers thereof: and I will scrape her dust from her, and make her like a smooth rock.

൪അവർ സോരിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ നശിപ്പിച്ച്, അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ പൊടി അടിച്ചുവാരിക്കളഞ്ഞ് അതിനെ വെറും പാറയാക്കും.

5 She shall be a drying place for nets in the midst of the sea, because I have spoken it, saith the Lord God: and she shall be a spoil to the nations.

൫അത് സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വലവിരിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സ്ഥലമായിത്തീരും; ഞാൻ അത് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്; “അത് ജനതകൾക്കു കവർച്ചയായിത്തീരും.

6 Her daughters also that are in the field, shall be slain by the sword: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

൬നാട്ടിൻപുറത്തുള്ള അതിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ വാളാൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെടും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും”.

7 For thus saith the Lord God: Behold I will bring against Tyre Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, the king of kings, from the north, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and companies, and much people.

൭യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ വടക്കുനിന്ന് രാജാധിരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ എന്ന ബാബേൽരാജാവിനെ കുതിരകളോടും രഥങ്ങളോടും കുതിരച്ചേവകരോടും ജനസമൂഹത്തോടും വളരെ പടജ്ജനത്തോടും കൂടി സോരിനുനേരെ വരുത്തും.

8 Thy daughters that are in the field, he shall kill with the sword: and he shall compass thee with forts, and shall cast up a mount round about: and he shall lift up the buckler against thee.

൮അവൻ നാട്ടിൻപുറത്തുള്ള നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; അവൻ നിന്റെനേരെ ഉപരോധമതിലുകൾ പണിത്, മൺകൂനകൾ ഉയർത്തും.

9 And he shall set engines of mar and battering rams against thy walls, and shall destroy thy towers with his arms.

൯അവൻ നിന്റെ മതിലുകളുടെ നേരെ യന്ത്രമുട്ടികൾ വച്ച് കോടാലികൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങൾ തകർത്തുകളയും.

10 By reason of the multitude of his horses, their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and wheels, and chariots, when they shall go in at thy gates, as by the entrance of a city that is destroyed.

൧൦അവന്റെ കുതിരകളുടെ പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ട് ഉയരുന്ന പൊടി നിന്നെ മൂടും; മതിൽ ഇടിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലേക്ക് കടക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവൻ നിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളിൽകൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോൾ കുതിരച്ചേവകരുടെയും ചക്രങ്ങളുടെയും രഥങ്ങളുടെയും മുഴക്കംകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

11 With the hoofs of his horses he shall tread down all thy streets: thy people he shall kill with the sword, and thy famous statues shall fall to the ground.

൧൧തന്റെ കുതിരകളുടെ കുളമ്പുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ നിന്റെ സകലവീഥികളെയും മെതിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ അവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; നിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള തൂണുകൾ നിലത്തു വീണുകിടക്കും.

12 They shall waste thy riches, they shall make a spoil of thy merchandise: and they shall destroy thy walls, and pull down thy fine houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber, and thy dust in the midst of the waters.

൧൨അവർ നിന്റെ സമ്പത്ത് കവർന്ന് നിന്റെ ചരക്കു കൊള്ളയിട്ട് നിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ ഇടിച്ച് നിന്റെ മനോഹരഭവനങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ കല്ലും മരവും മണ്ണും എല്ലാം അവർ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയും.

13 And I will make the multitude of thy songs to cease, and the sound of thy harps shall be heard no more.

൧൩നിന്റെ സംഗീതഘോഷം ഞാൻ ഇല്ലാതെയാക്കും; നിന്റെ വീണകളുടെ നാദം ഇനി കേൾക്കുകയുമില്ല.

14 And I will make thee like a naked rock, then shalt be a drying place for nets, neither shalt thou be built any more: for I have spoken it, saith. the Lord God.

൧൪ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വെറും പാറയാക്കും; നീ വലവിരിക്കുവാനുള്ള സ്ഥലമായിത്തീരും; നിന്നെ ഇനി പണിയുകയില്ല; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അത് കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.

15 Thus saith the Lord God to Tyre: Shall not the islands shake at the sound of thy fall, and the groans of thy slain when they shall be killed in the midst of thee?

൧൫യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് സോരിനോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നിഹതന്മാർ ഞരങ്ങുമ്പോഴും നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ സംഹാരം നടക്കുമ്പോഴും നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ ശബ്ദത്താൽ ദ്വീപുകൾ നടുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ലയോ?

16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones: and take off their robes, and cast away their broidered garments, and be clothed with astonishment: they shall sit on the ground, and with amazement shall wonder at thy sudden fall.

൧൬അപ്പോൾ സമുദ്രത്തിലെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സിംഹാസനം വിട്ടിറങ്ങി, അങ്കികൾ നീക്കി വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ അഴിച്ചുവയ്ക്കും; അവർ വിറയൽപൂണ്ട് നിലത്തിരുന്ന് നിമിഷംതോറും വിറച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും.

17 And taking up a lamentation over thee, they shall sag to thee: How art thou fallen, that dwellest in the sea, renowned city that wast strong in the sea, with thy inhabitants whom all did dread?

൧൭അവർ നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയും: ‘സമുദ്രസഞ്ചാരികൾ വസിച്ചതും കീർത്തികേട്ടതുമായ പട്ടണമേ, നീ എങ്ങനെ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീയും നിന്റെ നിവാസികളും സമുദ്രത്തിൽ പ്രാബല്യം പ്രാപിച്ചിരുന്നു; അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികൾക്കും നിങ്ങളെ പേടി ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ!

18 Now shall the ships be astonished in the day of thy terror: and the islands in the sea shall be troubled because no one cometh out of thee.

൧൮ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളിൽ ദ്വീപുകൾ വിറയ്ക്കും; അതെ, സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ദ്വീപുകൾ നിന്റെ തകർച്ചയിൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകും”.

19 For thus saith the Lord God: When I shall make thee a desolate city like the cities that are not inhabited: and shall bring the deep upon thee, and many waters shall cover thee:

൧൯യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാത്ത പട്ടണങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ശൂന്യപട്ടണം ആക്കുമ്പോഴും ഞാൻ നിന്റെമേൽ ആഴിയെ വരുത്തി പെരുവെള്ളം നിന്നെ മൂടുമ്പോഴും,

20 And when I shall bring thee down with those that descend into the pit to the everlasting people, and shall set thee in the lowest parts of the earth, as places desolate of old, with them that are brought down into the pit, that thou be not inhabited: and when I shall give glory in the land of the living,

൨൦ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടി പുരാതനജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറക്കുകയും നിനക്ക് നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും നീ ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു നിലനില്‍ക്കാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ, പുരാതനശൂന്യങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ, കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടി താമസിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

21 I will bring thee to nothing, and thou shalt not be, and if thou be sought for, thou shalt not be found any more for ever, saith the Lord God.

൨൧ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് ഭീതിജനകമായ അവസാനം വരുത്തും; നീ ഇല്ലാതെയാകും; നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിച്ചാലും ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും നിന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ല” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
