Nehemiah 11

1 Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem. Yet truly, the remainder of the people cast lots, so that they might choose one part in ten who were to live in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts for the other cities.

௧மக்களின் அதிகாரிகள் எருசலேமிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்; மற்ற மக்கள், தங்களுக்குள்ளே பத்துப்பேர்களில் ஒருவனை எருசலேம் என்னும் பரிசுத்த நகரத்திலும் ஒன்பதுபேரை மற்றப் பட்டணங்களிலும் குடியிருக்கச்செய்ய சீட்டுகளைப் போட்டார்கள்.

2 Then the people blessed all the men who freely offered themselves to live in Jerusalem.

௨ஆனாலும் எருசலேமிலே குடியிருக்க மனப்பூர்வமாகச் சம்மதித்த மனிதர்களையெல்லாம் மக்கள் வாழ்த்தினார்கள்.

3 And so these are the leaders of the province, who were living in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah. Now each one lived in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.

௩யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களில் இஸ்ரவேலர்களும், ஆசாரியர்களும், லேவியர்களும், ஆலயப் பணியாளர்களும், சாலொமோனுடைய வேலைக்காரர்களின் சந்ததிகளும், அவரவர் தங்கள் பட்டணங்களிலுள்ள தங்கள் சொந்த இடத்திலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்; எருசலேமிலே குடியிருந்த நாடுகளின் தலைவர்கள் யாரென்றால்:

4 And in Jerusalem, there lived some of the sons of Judah, and some of the sons of Benjamin: of the sons of Judah, Athaiah, the son of Aziam, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;

௪எருசலேமிலே யூதா சந்ததியர்களில் சிலரும், பென்யமீன் சந்ததியர்களில் சிலரும் குடியிருந்தார்கள்; யூதா மக்களிலே பேரேசின் சந்ததியில் ஒருவனான மகலாலெயேலின் மகனாகிய செபதியாவின் மகன் அமரியாவுக்குப் பிறந்த சகரியாவுக்கு மகனான உசியாவின் மகன் அத்தாயாவும்,

5 Maaseiah, the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of a Silonite.

௫சீலோனின் மகன் சகரியாவுக்கு மகனாகிய யோயாரிபுக்கு மகனான அதாயாவுக்குப் பிறந்த அசாயாவின் மகன் கொல்லோசே பெற்ற பாருக்கின் மகன் மாசெயாவுமே.

6 All these sons of Perez lived in Jerusalem, four hundred sixty-eight strong men.

௬எருசலேமிலே குடியிருக்கிற பேரேசின் மகன்களெல்லாம் நானூற்று அறுபத்தெட்டு பலசாலிகளாக இருந்தார்கள்.

7 Now these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah;

௭பென்யமீன் சந்ததியர்களில் யாரென்றால், சல்லு என்பவன்; இவன் மெசுல்லாமுக்கும், இவன் யோவேதுக்கும், இவன் பெதாயாவுக்கும், இவன் கொலாயாவுக்கும், இவன் மாசெயாவுக்கும், இவன் ஈத்தியேலுக்கும், இவன் எஷாயாவுக்கும் மகனானவன்.

8 and after him Gabbai, Sallai. These were nine hundred twenty-eight.

௮அவனுக்குப்பின் கப்பாய், சல்லாய் முதலானவர்கள் தொளாயிரத்து இருபத்தெட்டுபேர்.

9 And Joel, the son of Zichri, was their foremost leader. And Judah, the son of Hassenuah, was second over the city.

௯அவர்கள்மேல் கண்காணியான சிக்ரியின் மகன் யோவேலும், பட்டணத்தின்மேல் இரண்டாவது கண்காணியான அசெனூவாவின் மகன் யூதாவுமே.

10 And from the priests, there were Jedaiah, the son of Joiarib, Jachin,

௧0ஆசாரியர்களில் யோயாரிபின் மகன் யெதாயா, யாகின் என்பவர்களும்,

11 Seraiah, the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God,

௧௧அகிதூபின் மகன் மெராயோத்திற்குப் பிறந்த சாதோக்கின் மகன் மெசுல்லாம் பெற்ற இல்க்கியாவின் மகன் செராயா என்னும் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் மேற்பார்வையாளனும்,

12 and their brothers, who were doing the works of the temple: eight hundred twenty-two. And Adaiah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zachariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah,

௧௨ஆலயத்திலே வேலைசெய்கிற அவர்கள் சகோதரர்களாகிய எண்ணூற்று இருபத்திரண்டுபேரும், மல்கியாவின் மகன் பஸ்கூருக்கு மகனான சகரியாவின் மகன் அம்சிக்குப் பிறந்த பெல்லியாவின் மகன் எரோகாமுக்குப் பிறந்த அதாயாவும்,

13 and his brothers, the leaders among the fathers: two hundred forty-two. And Amassai, the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,

௧௩குடும்பத்தலைவர்களாகிய அவனுடைய சகோதரர்கள் இருநூற்று நாற்பத்திரண்டுபேர்களும், இம்மேரின் மகன் மெசில்லேமோத்தின் மகனாகிய அகசாய்க்குப் பிறந்த அசரெயேலின் மகன் அமாசாயும்,

14 and their brothers, who were very powerful: one hundred twenty-eight. And their foremost leader was Zabdiel, the son of the powerful.

௧௪அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய பலசாலிகள் நூற்று இருபத்தெட்டுபேருமே; இவர்கள்மேல் அகெதோலிமின் மகன் சப்தியேல் கண்காணியாக இருந்தான்.

15 And from the Levites, there were Shemaiah, the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni,

௧௫லேவியர்களிலே புன்னியின் மகன் அசபியாவின் மகனாகிய அஸ்ரிக்காமின் மகனான அசூபின் மகன் செமாயாவும்,

16 and Shabbethai and Jozabad, who were over all the works which were exterior to the house of God, from among the leaders of the Levites.

௧௬தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வெளிவேலையை விசாரிக்கிற லேவியர்களின் தலைவர்களிலே சப்பேதாயியும், யோசபாத்தும்,

17 And Mattaniah, the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the leader of praise and confession in prayer, with Bakbukiah, second among his brothers, and Abda, the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

௧௭ஆசாபின் மகன் சப்தியின் மகனாகிய மீகாவின் மகன் மத்தனியா ஜெபத்தில் ஸ்தோத்திரப்பாட்டைத் துவக்குகிற தலைவனும் அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களில் இரண்டாவதான பக்பூக்கியா என்னும் ஒருவனும், எதுத்தூனின் மகன் காலாவின் மகனாகிய சம்முவாவின் மகன் அப்தாவுமே.

18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.

௧௮பரிசுத்த பட்டணத்திலிருந்த லேவியர்கள் அனைவரும் இருநூற்று எண்பத்துநான்குபேர்.

19 And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, who guarded the doorways, were one hundred seventy-two.

௧௯வாசல் காவலாளர்கள் அக்கூபும், தல்மோனும், வாசல்களில் காவல்காக்கிற அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்களும் நூற்று எழுபத்திரண்டுபேர்.

20 And the remainder of Israel, the priests and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, each one in his own possession.

௨0மற்ற இஸ்ரவேலர்களும், ஆசாரியர்களும், லேவியர்களும், யூதாவின் எல்லா பட்டணங்களிலும் இருந்தார்கள்.

21 And the temple servants were living at Ophel, with Ziha and Gishpa, of the temple servants.

௨௧ஆலய பணியாளர்கள் ஓபேலிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள்மேல் சீகாவும் கிஸ்பாவும் பொறுப்பாளர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

22 And the director of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi, the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. The singing men in the ministry of the house of God were from the sons of Asaph.

௨௨எருசலேமிலிருக்கிற லேவியர்களின் தலைமை அதிகாரி மீகாவின் மகன் மத்தனியாவின் மகனாகிய அஷபியாவுக்குப் பிறந்த பானியின் மகன் ஊசி என்பவன் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் ஊழியத்திற்கு நிற்கிற பாடகர்களாகிய ஆசாபின் மகன்களில் ஒருவன்.

23 In fact, there was a precept of the king about them, and an order among the singing men, throughout each day.

௨௩பாடகர்களாகிய அவர்களுக்காக தினக்கூலி கொடுக்க ராஜாவினால் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

24 And Pethahiah, the son of Meshezabel, from the sons of Zerah, the son of Judah, was at the hand of the king concerning every word of the people,

௨௪யூதாவின் மகனாகிய சேராக்கின் சந்ததியர்களில் மெசெசாபெயேலின் மகன் பெத்தகியா மக்களின் காரியங்களுக்கெல்லாம் ராஜாவின் முன்பு நின்றான்.

25 and in the houses throughout all their regions. Some of the sons of Judah lived at Kiriatharba and in its daughter villages, and at Dibon and in its daughter villages, and at Jekabzeel and in its vicinity,

௨௫தங்கள் நாட்டுப்புறங்களான கிராமங்களில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்குள்ளே யூதாவின் மக்களில் சிலர் கீரியாத் அர்பாவிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும், தீபோனிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும், எகாப்செயேலிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும்,

26 and at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Bethpelet,

௨௬யெசுவாவிலும், மோலாதாகிலும், பெத்பெலேதிலும்,

27 and at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba and in its daughter villages,

௨௭ஆசார்சூவாவிலும், பெயெர்செபாவிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும்,

28 and at Ziklag, and at Meconah and in its daughter villages,

௨௮சிக்லாகிலும், மேகோனாகிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும்,

29 and at Enrimmon, and at Zorah, and at Jarmuth,

௨௯என்ரிம்மோனிலும், சோரியாவிலும், யர்மூத்திலும்,

30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish and its regions, and at Azekah and in its daughter villages. And they dwelt from Beersheba as far as the valley of Hinnom.

௩0சானோவாகிலும், அதுல்லாமிலும் அவைகளின் கிராமங்களிலும், லாகீசிலும் அதின் நாட்டுப்புறங்களிலும், அசெக்காவிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும், பெயெர்செபா துவங்கி இன்னோமின் பள்ளத்தாக்குவரை குடியேறினார்கள்.

31 But the sons of Benjamin lived from Geba, at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel and in its daughter villages,

௩௧கேபாவின் ஊரைச்சேர்ந்த பென்யமீன் மக்கள், மிக்மாஸ், ஆயா, பெத்தேல் ஊர்களிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும்,

32 to Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

௩௨ஆனதோத், நோப், அனனியா,

33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

௩௩ஆத்சோர், ராமா, கித்தாயிம்,

34 Hadid, Zeboim, and Neballat, Lod,

௩௪ஆதீத், செபோயிம், நெபலாத்,

35 and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

௩௫லோத், ஓனோ என்னும் ஊர்களிலும், சிற்பாசாரிகளின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் குடியிருந்தார்கள்.

36 And some of the Levites were apportioned with Judah and Benjamin.

௩௬லேவியர்களிலே சிலர் யூதாவிலும், சிலர் பென்யமீனிலும் இருந்தார்கள்.
