< Psalms 88 >

1 A song of a Psalm for the sons of Core for the end, upon Maeleth for responsive [strains], of instruction for Aeman the Israelite. O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried by day and in the night before you.
[Psalm Lun Tulik Natul Korah; Ac Heman, Mwet Ezra] O LEUM GOD su langoeyu, nga wowoyak ac tung len fon, Ac ke fong nga tuku nu ye motom.
2 Let my prayer come in before you; incline your ear to my supplication, O Lord.
Lohng pre luk, Lipsre tung luk in suk kasru!
3 For my soul is filled with troubles, and my life has drawn near to Hades. (Sheol h7585)
Tuh mwe keok puspis putati nu fuk Ac nga apkuran in misa. (Sheol h7585)
4 I have been reckoned with them that go down to the pit; I became as a man without help;
Nga oana elos nukewa su apkuran in misa; Wanginla ku luk.
5 free amongst the dead, as the slain ones cast out, who sleep in the tomb; whom you remember no more; and they are rejected from your hand.
Sisila nga inmasrlon mwet misa, Nga oana mwet su anwuki ac pukpuki in kulyuk uh — Oana elos su kom tiana sifil esam, Su kom fah tia ku in sifilpa kasru.
6 They laid me in the lowest pit, in dark [places], and in the shadow of death.
Kom sisyula nu in lufin mas loallana, Nu in luf se su arulana lohsr ac loal.
7 Your wrath has pressed heavily upon me, and you have brought upon me all your billows. (Pause)
Mulat lom putati toasr nu fuk Ac nga itungyuki ye noa in kasrkusrak lom.
8 You have removed my acquaintance far from me; they have made me an abomination to themselves; I have been delivered up, and have not gone forth.
Kom oru tuh mwet kawuk luk in sisyula, Ac oru tuh nga in oana mwe srungayuk selos. Nga kauli ac tia ku in kaingkunla.
9 Mine eyes are dimmed from poverty; but I cried to you, O Lord, all the day; I spread forth my hands to you.
Mutuk losrla ke keok luk, LEUM GOD, nga sralak pouk Ac pre nu sum len nukewa.
10 Will you work wonders for the dead? or shall physicians raise [them] up, that they shall praise you?
Ya kom ac oru ma sakirik usrnguk nu sin mwet misa? Ya elos ac tukakek ac kaksakin kom?
11 Shall any one declare your mercy in the tomb? and your truth in destruction?
Ya lungse kawil lom srumunyuk in kulyuk uh? Ya oaru lom srumunyuk ke acn in kunausten?
12 Shall your wonders be known in darkness? and your righteousness in a forgotten land?
Ya mwenmen lom liyeyuk in acn lohsr uh, Ku wo lom liyeyuk ke acn sin mwet mulkinyukla uh?
13 But I cried to you, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent you.
LEUM GOD, nga pre nu sum in kasreyu. Nga pre nu sum ke lotutang nukewa.
14 Therefore, O Lord, do you reject my prayer, [and] turn your face away from me?
Efu ku kom sisyula, LEUM GOD? Efu ku kom ngetla likiyu?
15 I am poor and in troubles from my youth; and having been exalted, I was brought low and into despair.
Nga nuna keok ac apkuran nu ke misa e ke nga srikyak, Nga totola ke ma toasr su kom kaiyu kac.
16 Your wrath has passed over me; and your terrors have greatly disquieted me.
Mulat upa lom itungyuwi — Mwe aksangeng lom kunausyula.
17 They compassed me like water; all the day they beset me together.
Ma inge apinyula oana sronot ke len nufon, Ac kuhlusyuwi ke siska nukewa.
18 You have put far from me [every] friend, and mine acquaintances because of [my] wretchedness.
Finne kawuk fototo luk, kom oru elos sisyula, Ac lohsr mukena pa nga liye uh.
